HANK’S Pizza Choza

Excellent wood-fired pizzas with very high-quality ingredients. There are only four pizza options on the menu, but each one is absolutely worth trying. For drinks, they only offer beer, wine, and Coca-Cola sodas. If you plan to sit down, it’s best to order everything at once, because if you want to order again you have to get back in line, and the place is usually very crowded. Although the service is fast, it’s a bit inconvenient that once you’re seated the server can’t take additional orders and you have to line up again, sometimes for quite a while. That said, overall it’s a 10/10—just be prepared so you don’t have to line up multiple times.

Very tasty wood fired pizza. The single slices are very generous. (the honey with chilies is a unique condiment, try it) Obviously very popular with locals. Bonus: a very good hazy IPA on tap 👍🍺

Loved the vibe, they had great jazz music. Pizza is great but overpriced. Although it's probably the best NY style I'll find in the city. I got the pepperoni picante. For me it would have been better without the big salami and only the small pepperoni. The pepperoni taste better, and the large salami are hard to bite through so each one got pulled off to leave a large section of crust and sauce forcing me to take large, awkward, messy bites. Thai basil is super fresh. Crust was excellent. Service top notch. The porter draft is good as well.

Excellent thin-crust pizza, crunchy, light, and genuinely delicious. Prices are a bit on the high side, but the quality makes it worth it. A simple, well-executed pizza that delivers exactly what you hope for. They have IPA beer, but plus.

Cool place with outdoor standing space as well as tables inside. Pizza was very good although the honey comes on the pepperoni slice which I didn’t know. Friendly service and chill vibes.

Since atlante has closed this is the only legit place in the city to get authentic ny style pizza. Dough is thin with a nice crunch but not burnt or overcooked. Sauce is nice and not overly sweet, a great balance of acidity and sweetness. I find this to be an issue in a lot of pizzas here. Quality of ingredients is awesome as well. When I want a taste of home I always stop by for a slice.

One of a kind listening bar and eatery. Feels like youve been welcomed into a bohemian home with exceptional food ans service. The mezcal selection is intentional and very special highlighting different regions of Mexico and directly sourced.

Legit a 9.8 star. Actually tasted like a real NYC pizza. Crust was perfect, nice salty sauce, perfect cheese. Will go back!
