Google
I must say that I had never seen a pumpkin harvest in my life, it seemed totally wonderful to me. I did not enjoy any attraction because we went to another place, but I was impressed with how they strive to decorate everything, the different variety of pumpkins, there are a lot attractions for children I will return when my baby is older, I know she will love it, in addition to that you have the option of collecting apples, pumpkins, eating corn and many prepared things. It looks like a movie place, very beautiful

Google
So many fun games here like racing rubber duckies or knocking plastic birds off their perch. Really nice corn field maze, pumpkin fields and family picture opportunities. The view from the road didn’t do this place justice! It’s so fun for kids and even adults.

Fayth T.

Google
Love this place! There's so much to do for the littles, you could entertain them for hours! It's also fun for the adults. There is a corn maze with three different "courses"; two are under 20 mins which is great for kids and there's another one that is for 8+ that takes between 45-60mins. The apple picking was good; plenty of apples to pick and they are delicious. They had five varieties open for picking so everyone in our family was happy. The cider donuts were a hit as well as the fresh corn on the cob. I would recommend this place over Harbes and Lewins any day!!

Amy K.

Google
Hank and team are the best. Tiny Town is my favorite - and of course the corn cob train!

Arpad S.

Google
My family goes there every year. Unforgettable memories.

Google
Been coming to Hanks since I was a little girl. I absolutely love it over other pumpkin patches on Long Island! Yes, other reviews are correct that it’s overpriced, but most pumpkin patches are nowadays! Traffic is crazy too but that’s the name of the game with a pumpkin patch that’s on a main road. Tons to do for little kids and the apple cider slushie, roasted corn and candy apples are soooo good! Can’t wait to take my son here next year!

Nicole C.

Google
$18 per person including kids. Children under 2 are free. Includes 3 corn maze, a bunch of toddler & adolescents wooden playground/slides, gem mining (for an extra $8), a big bounce pad, oversized pedal go carts along with a bunch of other kid activities. Definitely worth it if you spend time there. Beautiful pumpkin patch (79 cents a pound). the 50-60 min corn maze was actually challenging even for adults. We brought 2 baby carriages and you have to climb at least 4 metal (~13 steps each) sets of stairs so you may want to do a baby carrier instead unless you want a workout. Otherwise a fun Saturday afternoon.

Google
Wonderful place to enjoy fall festivities and enjoy apple picking and pumpkin picking. Lots of fresh produce and homemade jams in the shop. Corn mazes, and games to be enjoyed by all ages. We loved it!

Yelp
Pros: Lots of great Apple choices, pumpkins galore, roasted corn line went really fast, a lot of options for treats to buy in their general store. Cons: $24/pp for the play area-- really overpriced and didn't seem worth it for the family. A small bag of apples to pick was $33, which was very pricey as well, but everything was centralized into easy to access rows so not an enormous amount of walking which is good for me, recovering from surgery.
google avatar

Crystal P.

Yelp
I had been wanting to come here for years. Bit overrated but that's basically most of the farms we have on long island. Expect high prices but again most farms. I'd go back here.

Catherine B.

Yelp
I give it three stars because some of it was great and some was awful and some in the middle. Location: easy to get to Apple picking: id rate this one star-the selection was limited and most apples were already on the ground rotting with lots of bees. Also very expensive at $35 a bag. Pumpkin picking: we didn't partake in this but the selection looked great so I'd recommend. Store: 2 stars as the place was big but the selection was also limited. Donuts are good though Children's section: this is the real star in my opinion. They have a huge play area for kids. $24 a person so quite pricey but worth it if you have little ones. Overall I'd come back for the kids play area and maybe a pumpkin but otherwise not worth the 1.5 hr drive from the city.
google avatar

Kiki P.

Yelp
This farm is definitely overrated. There is a ton of things to do which kids will definitely enjoy. But they over charge everything. $32 for a small bag of unripe apples is just plain ridiculous. The apples were all unripe and bitter. The food isn't much better either. The Apple cider donut isn't the worse but could use improvement. It was doughy and had a weird tang. I Wouldn't come back again.

Yelp
In the past five years, we have tried various pumpkin patches and apple orchards, and hank's by far surpasses our expectations. We live in the Bronx and we don't mind the 2hr driveto Hanks. We have visited three years and the experience is amazing every time. We enjoy picking pumpkins and we enjoy eating snow, sweet apples the best tasting Apple ever we also can't leave hanks without eating at least two each of the corn on the cob and to top it off the apple cider donuts. Let's not forget the amazing Candy apples. Oh my.!! Till next year Hanks!!
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
Off to the Hamptons? If you have lil ones or love a fun filled day i'd recommend Hank's. It's a great spot along Montauk highway. Traffic can be backed up a bit but if you come before 11 am you'll find parking and no traffic at all. It's a great space with kids having a field day with all the wood built vehicles, pirate ships, buses, cars, trailers. They just love climbing and playing on them. A great hay ride brings you around the farm and you get to roam around the 2 large pumpkin patches. Perfect to pick up your seasonal pumpkins. Large, small, and even the sugar pumpkins. They have a great apple picking area as well. All the pumpkins and apples are prime for picking. The market area also have great pumpkin and cider donuts. Definitely can make a day of this or just a few hours before headed out to the hamptons.

Brandon T.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our trip here this year. First trip to a pumpkin patch, but definitely exceeded my expectations I had going in. Tons of activities for the kiddos. I'm sure you could spend half a day trying to get in everything. Appreciated the wide variety of snack sized food and drinks. Prices seemed reasonable as well. Already planning the trip back next year.
google avatar

Ali P.

Yelp
This place used to be nice - a little of everything which made the trip worth it. Now, $30 for the smallest bag for apples and $20 a head to do the silly little houses. We left after that. Will never bother again.
google avatar

Aarti G.

Yelp
This place was so much fun! Lots of pumpkins to choose from and 3 different corn mazes for different levels. I didn't try any of the food but it looked like a variety of options. Apple picking was closed.
google avatar

Christine K.

Yelp
This place is a really cute, child friendly farm. More kid friendly than adult. However, we are in the middle of a pandemic. The place allows way too many people into the farm. They have signs to wear masks but are not enforcing the mask rules. They have people walking around the farm eating and are not enforcing the "designated eating areas". There are no hand sanitizer stations or sinks!! All of the attractions are not cleaned after each person uses them. As a nurse, I am disappointed and frightened for the safety of the staff and customers coming to this attraction site.

Steph W.

Yelp
Such a fun experience for the entire family. Hanks is HUGE with so many activities and delicious desserts!
google avatar

Gaudi O.

Yelp
Family approved ! Have been coming here every fall season with both family and friends. We usually get there right when they open since parking can be hectic with a huge crowd. Inside you can also grab 1/4 apple bags to-go, pies, corn, popcorn, souvenir's, etc.... Apple picking &/or pumpkin picking , or do both. They have baby pumpkins out front. There's a children area of activities, it's nice place to walk around and explore *Covid guidelines with mask & santizers are around the premises
google avatar

Sonia P.

Yelp
Overpriced but it's a one stop shop for Pick-Your-Own, a farmers market and a play area for the kids! If you're short on time and don't mind spending the extra cash, it's definitely a good use of your time.

Jade G.

Yelp
This is my second year being here and I have to say it's an amazing experience. I have two kids ages 3 and 6 and they have the best time. There is so much to do. The baked goods are so fresh and really good. The place has a great vibe and even if there's a lot of people it doesn't feel overcrowded because there's so much to do. This will be a yearly thing and we live 1.5 hours away and it's 100000% worth the drive.
google avatar

Ginette P.

Yelp
After some wine tasting we came looking for a little something to eat here. We came in & tried some Cider & Pumpkin doughnuts , I've never had pumpkin doughnuts I must say they were very good nice taste & so were the Cider doughnuts. Nice fields full of pumpkins , we walked around for a bit it was nice. They seem to have some rides & plenty of options when it came to pumpkins from little ones to very large ones, Overall nice time.
google avatar

Robert Ta-too R.

Yelp
If you're expecting good food good pumpkins good workers..... find another place. The workers were some of the rudest people I've ever met. If they even acknowledged you they spoke down to you like you were an inconvenience. The food is limited to only donuts and apples and pies. No real food. Like sandwiches, pizza, hotdogs, burgers. Nothing BUT over priced sugary crap. I would be ok with the limited food choices if it wasn't for the workers that ruined the whole experience.
google avatar

Nick C.

Yelp
Been to so many crappy family farms so Hanks really surprised me. The place was really nice sized and had everything for kids and adults to do and to take your money lol. From hard ciders to amazing pumpkin and Apple cider donuts there is something for everyone. Parking is tough but you will find a spot just be careful and don't park on the street. All the cars were getting ticketed so stay off the sidewalk.
google avatar

Kelsey S.

Yelp
Great for fall festivities! You can come here and they make their own Apple Cider which is amazing! They have a HUGE pumpkin patch... sugar pumpkins as well. They have apple picking. Corn Maze. Usually more busy on the weekends. Best time to go is during the week! Your kids will have a blast! They also sell flowers (mums), candy apples and other such things that you usually find at these sort of places. Also it is not all that expensive. Nice relaxing place to walk and make memories.
google avatar

Ani A.

Yelp
Parking is a pain but we loved our experience here! There is a lot to do here for everyone especially the kiddies. Apple picking, pumpkin picking, playground, corn maze, face painting, and fresh pies and donuts. You can do most of this without the admission fee. The fields are huge and they are kind enough to supply wheelbarrows to carry the huge 95lb we brought home. Tractor rides, corn maze, and many more cool bouncy houses and entertaining games for kids are an extra $13 per person. Everyone must pay the $13 to enter. We'll be back for sure.

Yelp
I've been going to hanks for the last 15 years. I used to love wandering in the large pumpkin patch past the maize and children's area. It has been getting busier and busier each year but I would always return. This year however I was so disappointed that they roped off the entire right side of the place and were charging $16 to enter. Then I was reading reviews on here that they charge $16 even for adults watching their children. That is truly greedy and disappointing. I don't mind paying for the maize and getting my delicious doughnuts and popcorn but this year the place just felt commercial and like it lost its heart. I guess I need to research a new pumpkin picking place since this farm just wants to charge you to do anything. #bringbackoldhanks

Cinnylexus G.

Yelp
Good place if you have all kids. Not the biggest farm. They have a fun play area too
google avatar

Wayne Y.

Yelp
At first, I thought it was just a normal pumpkin patch. Driving by, I wondered why there were long lines of cars waiting to get in. After all, the Hamptons were not supposed to be crowded in mid-October. We stopped by and realized that this was not just a pumpkin patch. For sure, there were pumpkins in multiple patches of varying colors and shapes. It was pretty amazing the stuff you could pick off the vine. However, they also had large carts and crates with pumpkins organized from your ordinary orange ones to warty and albino ones. It was really quite fun! One tables had all the oddly shaped gourds you have ever dreamed of for $1-2. This place also had a large central building where they sold your favorite fall goodies: candied apples, hot apple cider, pumpkin pie, fried sweet corn. I didn't have that much time so unfortunately, I did not have time to try most of these. Instead, we went into one of 3 corn mazes. The large maze is designed to take an hour because there is a game you play inside based on the board game "Clue." It is hard to find your way out. Other things we didn't try were hayrides and train rides. This was effectively an amusement park where you can spend an entire half day. They also have assorted playground slides, and photo spots that are free and can make for great family memories. Only thing is beware of the checkout area. They overcharged us by $10, which we realized afterwards. They're just trying to be fast, but their math isn't great if you're buying many pumpkins.
google avatar

Christina R.

Yelp
Such a great family friendly place! Be prepared to walk from the parking lot to the farm itself. Parking is free but it fills up fast and usually flows across the street. There are plenty of free ways to entertain your children with the playgrounds spread out, but also plenty of activities that cost $. The apple picking was awesome, $25 cash or card to fill up a 10 lb. bag. My bag had over 15 apples, probably closer to 25. Staff is very friendly and they have a shop filled with baked treats like donuts and pies.
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
Came here for a day of fun and Apple picking with my 3 year old (close to 4) he had so much fun playing in the field! We picked apples here too. Food options limited but got him chicken tenders (bought my own food but says no outside food). My toddler did not want to leave! We were there for 4 hours.

Yelp
Attended Hanks Pumpkin Town opening day 2015 My family had a great time. My daughter loved the rides especially the slides. So many wonderful assorted pumpkins to choose from. The new market was great they had these wonderful fresh made apple cider doughnuts which where being made right in front of us. My daughter loved watching them pop out. We also enjoyed some fresh roasted corn and an overall pleasant afternoon. Highly recommend taking your family there for some great memories.

Ashely M.

Yelp
My family and I came to Hank's for a family filled time! We enjoyed the maze and the pumpkin patch. We decided to go to the shop for some pumpkin and apple pies. As we were picking our pies we had so many in hand, one slipped out of my hands and fell to the floor. As we went to tell staff this older blonde woman yelled at my husband and said " IT DIDN'T FALL YOU DROPPED IT!" we were so embarrassed as evergone was looking at us. My husband went to the younger woman at the register and she said you have to pay for it. We were already embarrassed by the older blonde woman who appeared to be a manger of some sort, so we decided to put down all the pies we had in our hands and proceeded to walk to the winery. So rude and discouraged as we come here every year for a good time. We would have paid for the fallen pie however her attitude really was uncalled for infront of other people and many children.

Geri S.

Yelp
Our large family has been going to Hank's every year for at least 20 years. In addition to charging for pumpkins and apple picking (which is understandable and expected), little by little, they started charging for every single activity once you get inside. Last year, they had the gall to charge small children AND their parents to enter a playground area. Starting this year, they charge to just enter the farm. Sadly, our family tradition at Hank's will end, and we'll have to make new memories elsewhere. If you're planning on visiting, bring a lot of money.

Yelp
I was excited to go this place bc of the reviews & the way it was hyped up on their website. It was way overly congested in such a small place. Online they make it out to be a lot bigger with a better selection of pumpkins. This place is also very expensive. $4 for corn $3 for drinks and $14 for the corn maze. It is also very unorganized, I wanted to take a wagon ride but there was no sign where to get on. The market was just a cluster fuck of people. It is so unorganized that no one was checking to see if anyone actually paid for their pumpkins. But after spending over $50 there I think it evens out. Most of the pumpkins were also rotten in the pumpkin patch The best part about this place is the mazes. I was highly disappointed in the food. Barely any selection and they didn't even have typical fair food like cotton candy. I won't be returning unless it's to get more free pumpkins lol
google avatar

Kelly D.

Yelp
I go to Hank's each year to pick pumpkins because you can pick them right off of the vine and have a wide variety. They grow medium size (most were 7-15 pounds by my estimate) in the patch to the left of the market. Larger pumpkins (30+ pounds) are grown to the right of the market. Albino pumpkins and fairytale pumpkins are grown in the patch directly behind the larger pumpkins. For those who do not want to venture into the pumpkin patch to pick there are carts of pumpkins in the front. Smaller pumpkins are not grown in he patch, but are available on the carts. Gourds of all different shapes and sizes were also available on the carts. Wheelbarrows were available to help carry pumpkins, but some were in better condition than others. The black ones seemed to be in better condition than the red ones. Price was $0.69 per pound, so only paid $6.90 for a 10 pound pumpkin. The market had a limited amount of snacks and drinks for purchase. Hot apple cider was $2. A 6 pack of apple cider or pumpkin spice donuts was $5. Kettle corn, apple cider slushies, corn dogs, pumpkin ice cream, candy apples were also available. Roasted corn was distributed out of its own hut just outside of the market. A good amount of kid activities were offered, but did not use them. Seemed like half were free to use and half you had to pay to use. Only porta-potty bathrooms available, so just be aware of this if you don't like using these. Duckwalk winery is just across the street so you might be able to use the bathrooms there and enjoy a glass of wine while you are there.
google avatar

Raven M.

Yelp
Great place for the kids! They have everything you need for a Fall outing! Apple picking, Pumpkin picking (off the vine), roasted corn, hayrides and a huge playground for the kiddies to run around! $16 to enter the playground and $30 to enter the Apple picking area (1 bag). They also have a general store that sells delicious Apple and pumpkin goodies.
google avatar

Robert D.

Yelp
While the donuts are warm, and the apple cider is good, Hanks lacks any accessible features. As someone in a wheelchair I don't expect much, in fact all I expect is a place to relax while my family can enjoy the the corn maze, and pick some pumpkins. Sadly at Ganks they want me to pay $15 to sit at the picnic table inside the fenced area where all the action is. Never again

christine a.

Yelp
First and last time here. We changed places due to covid because our normal place was not doing the fall festival stuff. The apple orchard is really small. The bag you get is tiny and it's $30! We get a bag that's double the size where we normally go. Besides that the place was cute butttt, to charge for EVERY SINGLE adult that goes into the KIDS place area is disgusting. No switching adults either. So you have to pay $16 for every person, even when there is literally nothing an adult can do except supervise their kids. It's disgusting. So if you don't want to miss out on just watching your kid have fun, you have to pay to see that happen. My son has fun because clearly he doesn't understand the place being a rip off, and the cider donuts were good. That was the only reason I gave this place 2 stars.

K K.

Yelp
I have to say I'm very disappointed in this place. We went apple picking, we were told to leave our radio flyer wagon outside the Apple picking gate with all the other strollers etc. We said are u sure ?? The man assured us it would be fine there. When we came out someone had stolen our wagon. We brought this up with the workers we were told it wasn't their fault . While I do know that to some extent, they didnt even offer to give us our money back for the apples, or could of offered to have my children go into the play area for free, as my son was very upset his favorite wagon was stolen. Its a shame that you cant take your family to a "family place" with out someone stealing your belongings, and the people who are running the place could care less.

Tim K.

Yelp
We traveled thousands of miles (from Austin and Chicago) for a weekend excursion on Long Island. After a long trips, we were tired and morale was low, but then we found the hidden gem in Hank's. This experience was truly one for the ages, and that's not a Joke about the age of some of our travelers. Hank's brought great memories, delicious car snacks on our way to the Hampton's, and the perfect start to a weekend on Long Island. Saying we were happy to stumble upon this Pumpkinland is a gross understatement.
google avatar

Bill W.

Yelp
I stopped by Hank's Vegetable Barn just down the road from North Main Street in Southampton. The sweet corn was beautiful, ears were full, and excellent sweet flavor. The best part of Summer. I love his Musk Melon as well. They will be available in a few weeks. Stop on by you won't be disappointed.

Jim P.

Yelp
$16.00 per person to walk through a playground. 74 CENTS A POUND For pumpkins. Bring a large wallet and expect large crowds without any social distancing. Suggestion go to Lidls and buy your 28 dollar pumpkin for $3.99

Amanda S.

Yelp
Staff was very rude. When it came to closing time they were not nice at all. One lady with a mega phone literally said "Get out". Will not ever go back. I spent so much money there just to get treated like garbage by the end of the day.
google avatar

Melanie O.

Yelp
Hank's is so much fun!! It's also a one stop shop. You can Apple and Pumpkin pick all in the same day. There is so much to do and my son has a blast every year. Playground, huge slide, face painting, roasted corn, giant maze and a great market with all your fall favorite treats. Our visit to Hank's marks the start of the holidays - we love it!!
google avatar

Natalia M.

Yelp
I can't give this farm less stars because it wouldn't be fare. Even though we didn't do much. When we got there it was a ZOO with millions of kids running around and screaming. Parents looked like zombies. Lines were out of control! I have to say....this can be fixed by hiring more people. There were only two girls selling candied apples....if you had 4 total the line would be cut in half...what a marvelous idea. But besides the point....they did have everything for the family. Corn maze, tons of pumpkin patches, apple orchard (which was too expensive) as well as plenty of kids activities. I would go again just to experience more on a quieter day. But I think I still prefer the north shore Harbes farm.
google avatar

LD J.

Yelp
I go to this farm every year!!! Love the apples; my best apple pie its because of their apples!!! Good place for kids activities.

Natalie F.

Yelp
My nephew and I were bouncing on the bounce mat . One of Hanks employees named Maria was hostile to the children including my 3 year old nephew. Maria clearly cannot work with children . At first she was on the side of the ticket both putting on the wristband to whomever paid and there she also had a attitude. I was there was my family and one of their attraction is called the balance mat. My nephew and I were jumping on it . Some of the children were flipping including my nephew . One of her attempts she had said to stop flipping to all however, the speaker when she said it sounded muffled . so my nephew flipped again. Her second attempt she then caught an attitude and was extremely hostile to the children and looked at my nephew and as she said "I said no flipping" she said this before I could even talk to my 3 year old nephew. so confronted her in the way she was speaking to the children. After that she was speaking to her other two coworkers in front of my family and I and everyone else that was there about what just had happened is a nasty attitude . She was definitely trying to provoke another issue. So I asked her for the manager . She then responded with "I can take you there" again with an attitude. I quickly said "no I'm okay" while I was putting on my boots. She then ran to the manager. The Manager on duty ( I believe her name was Kathleen) was in the ticket booth at the time . I explain to her what happened as now I am very upset at the situation. One of the managers line was " She is a godsend" talking about her employee Maria. Now that could mean many different things ." Maria could be there working everyday and maybe that's what that means to you" and this is what I told to the manager. The manager did not reply to that line . The manager said she will bring it to management. How do I know she would. The Manager is already showing me how she manages the farm. Poor. And Maria obviously doesn't know how to work with children. I also emailed Hanks and they responded with "the incident was brought to their attention and they reviewed the footage from their surveillance camera" . However there was no cameras I saw especially out in the open field were the bounce mat is located. I responded back and yet NOT heard from them . It's now 4 days . The funny part is the email I received from Hanks farm was from Lynne on her iPhone she forgot to delete the part were it says iPhone . Also how do I know that is management behind the email for all I know it could be a kid It comes down to , when there's bad management there's bad employees. It's supposed to be a friendly and family place to go especially in months of fall and that is exactly what they advertise however it was an inconvenience and an emotional distress day because of Maria's hostility and poor management . This is we're people pay to enjoy themselves and suppose to have a good time with our loved ones . Choose another farm

Tammy B.

Yelp
Nice place for a family outing. Apples vary but always a tasty treat. We also love the warm apple cider drinks along with apple cider doughnuts.
google avatar

Santo B.

Yelp
This was absolutely the worst experience Apple picking that I've ever encountered. A ten pound bag of apples is $25.00. I can understand if it were a real orchard with an amazing experience, but three quarters of the orchard was inaccessible due to being restricted. There were very few varieties of apples available for picking, and there are bees everywhere. If you're allergic too, or are highly sensitive to bee stings, stay away at all costs. They lost me as a customer.
google avatar

Evie P.

Yelp
This place is great. Corn maze, train, playground, picnic tables. Roasted corn is great , apple cider donuts are worth the trip from queens. I hate reading reviews about how they charge for all these little things. ITS WORTH IT!!! There's an abundance of apples, pick your own pumpkins, and a barn like stand where you can get candied apples. My favorite there is the apple cider. Anyway, I can imagine most free or low cost places get really crowded, but this place has never been too crowded that we couldn't enjoy the great outdoors. Totally worth the drive and the kids will have a great time.
google avatar

James R.

Yelp
Place is setup nice BUT way overcrowded and they don't care. Pure money grab. Could care less that they overpack the place by triple what it should be. Apple picking is overpriced and bad selection.

Eric A.

Yelp
Took the kids here in October and they had a blast. The corn mazes they had were amazing! 5 different mazes in one with a story about spookley the pumpkin which my kids went crazy over. Amazing family time spent at hanks

M B.

Yelp
Wow!! I am absolutely appalled. I really do not even know where to start. Mind you I am no Karen, however this place has got my nerves boiling to the max. IM AM ABSOLUTELY RAGING !!!!! I am currently at this location and there is so much wrong within the first 30 minutes of me being here. To start off, I approach the lady standing at the apple picking booth with my mother. (Just as a description of her she has extremely platinum blonde hair and was wearing a white baseball cap and a grey sweatshirt). My mother asks if the apples are sprayed with anything and she tells her the exact name of the chemicals used on the apples. BUT GET THIS!! When I ask her not even a minute later what they spray, because I did not remember she told me (19 year old) "I don't know". Seems as if the children/ young adults are not respected and treated the same way as the adults. She definitely knew the name, however she refused to tell me. She must've had some immediate personal vendetta against me or something and she used the most dreadful tone. Secondly, the bag of apples which is compact in itself, was $30!!!! It would be cheaper for me to grow my own apple tree and devour it. Secondly, they are taking advantage of the pandemic as an excuse to raise their prices, they do not limit the amount of people entering the site and they are not suffering, in fact, they are more popular than ever during this time of year. The area with apple cider is solely SPIKED APPLE CIDER!!! What happened to catering towards their target market?? All of a sudden a pumpkin patch and apple picking farm turns into a bar for an adult hang out spot?? Absolutely outrageous. Why can't there be normal apple cider for the children along with the spiked cider so they can all enjoy the atmosphere together? Again another situation in which the children are left out. Not to mention the spiked cider is $8 a cup. In conclusion, this place simply does not even meet expectations from my experiences in the past. Overpriced, lack of adequate customer service, lack of knowledge of their own target market and discrimination towards their consumers. Seems like they need to check their ego and calm down a tad. Very disappointed!!!! Do not recommend. That is all.

Yelp
I had the opportunity to visit Hank's Pumpkin Town this past Monday, which was Columbus Day... While we did expect crowds due to the holiday.. it was insanely crowded...and parking was a mess.. I haven't been apple picking since I was a child and almost all of those trips were to Upstate NY..... now I know why.... As reviewers below have mentioned... the prices here are quite ridiculous compared to other orchards....$12 for entry into the corn maze and for rides.... (unlimited nonetheless)..and we didn't even see the wagon ride anywhere...$22 for a peck of apples that you are picking up from the ground of a very tiny/ dwarf orchard.. was just insane..we didn't even bother paying their price to pick......$16 for a pie ?.. I heard quite a few families grunting behind me on line that they pay much lower prices at other orchards or farms...I will say that the Apple Cider doughnuts were delicious!...$6 for 5 doughnuts is a great price.... A bag of apples were $6.. although small.. I believe 1/4 peck....... The roasted corn was also amazing $3.50 each (cash only for the corn)....and the cups given for the Apple Cider Slushies were very nice... ($6)....More food choices and picnic tables would have been a great addition. What saves this place is the playground for the children... My sister and I watched our boys slide down one particular slide at least 80 x... I kid you not...there are quite a few activities for them to do.....and we did enjoy the smaller corn maze....... but also not enough staff... so more of parents becoming referee's to screaming children.. I even watched one father climb into a mini castle to save his daughter from a bully.....sigh......and Farmer Joe is my nickname for the man driving the tractor for the children's ride.... very rude... but then again... you'd have to be a little grumpy doing that all day....and listening to that mind numbing song on repeat .. but come on... your job is to be pleasant and at least slightly cheerful for visiting families.... My sister said that she would return to another orchard she visited last year and not come back to this one..... and I have to agree with her.... if apple picking is what you're looking for... its not here..... Pumpkins were priced well... lots of choices and decorative ones as well... but we truly came for apple picking..and were let down. Would we return??......perhaps for the playground activities.... but highly unlikely that we would waste an entire day heading out this far just for that... If you happen to live on Long Island or near...this may suffice...and be a great stop for your weekend rounds during the fall.....But for those of us in the outer boroughs who have traveled long for a wonderful apple picking experience.... it just wasn't a hit....sorry Hank's... we won't be back...

Yelp
LOVE Hank's Pumpkintown! There is so much for kids to do, but still awesome if you're just looking to go on a nice date. My boyfriend and I walked through the pumpkin field and did the "Apple Shooter". We then looked though their assortment of "weird" and misshapen pumpkins. There were tons of people, it was a very lively, fun place. We then waited in line for THE BEST APPLE CIDER DONUTS WEVE EVER HAD. Seriously, we're mad we didn't get a whole dozen. Would definitely recommend.
