Hannaford

Great products at good prices in a convenient location. This brand is a mainstay for our home. Lots of healthy options and they offer locally farmed produce. Certainly could not go without a few trips in a week to our store.

I come here almost everyday so I think that says something when there's 2 other places to get groceries

My favorite Hannaford ever. Usually the nicest people you can hope to meet. You should be nice back- sometimes they get very angry about this. Understandable

Cute little Hannaford in Dexter Maine , very friendly and helpful staff and a well kept store.

I love this store. Great customer service and a good selection of goods. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, I am sorely disappointed in the Rotisserie Chicken due to it being put in a bag instead of the containers it used to come in. I stopped buying the Chicken because it is all slimy laying in the juices. I understand why they did this due to the plastic but there has to be a better way then slopping into a bag.

I’m surprised that such a small town would have such a well stocked grocery store with the many options you would see in a larger city. Bonus points, they sell the local newspapers

Decent Hannaford's with some really nice people working. The store is smaller than the Hannafords I'm used to visiting. But it's clean and well organized. Had some fun banter with some of the staff in the aisles as well as the person who checked me out. Shared funny food stories and what not, I appreciated the time to be welcoming and ensure the customer enjoys the visit.

After shopping at this Hannafords for over a year, I feel I should point out a couple of details I hadn't experienced early on. It is still great to have a supermarket so close by. The employees are friendly and it is of course more convenient than driving to Newport or even farther. But I would be remiss if I didn't mention what I have noticed over the longer haul. It is of course a small store where this chain is concerned. So we have found they don't have items listed in the sales flyer sometimes, and also that they run out of common items, such as ice cream or, most recently, hamburger and hot dog buns. Now granted it was a holiday weekend, and when I went in on Tuesday morning they had them again, but nowhere near a full shelf. Perhaps their operating budget only allows for them to stock enough if everything is normal, and events like holidays or hot days overwhelm their ordering capacity. Still, I am glad to have them nearby, especially with the current price of gas.

good grocery store, luckily since its only one in town. really pricey though :/ hence the 4/5 stars
