When I look at pictures on line, I wonder if I stayed in this hotel. It has nothing to do. This was the worst hotel experience in a month of travelling throughout Vietnam. The room was clean as much as it could be in that state. I put some pictures. You can judge by yourself. Even if it is situated in a small street, it was noisy because it is in the middle of the bar and restaurant area. If you look for a quiet place and a comfy room, don't go there.

Great value hotel. Location is perfect for people that want to be centrally located near bars and resteraunts. Service is very good. They are very kind and hospitable in all ways. We originally did 2 days booking but extemded 2 more days would stay again.

I would not recommend this hotel if you care about quality of sleep. I stayed in the highest floor and they don't close the rooftop and there is a very acute non-stop noise coming from the rooftop that doesn't let you sleep if your room is close to the rooftop. I asked the receptionist to do something about it but he did nothing. Rooms are modern but quite small. Location is good though but you can also hear the bars (which is another -though expected- source of noise) until midnightm. Internet works well but they don't have elevator and you will also be awaken with the sun. When you pay with credit card they ask you to pay 3% more...I booked with agoda.com and they didn't mention this..

The staff is very nice, and the location very central, which are the only good things going on for the hotel. Noise from outside was not an issue, though other guest running up and down the stairs at midnight was. Since the hotel was recommended by my favorite guide book, I didn’t look through the reviews carefully. As other guests point out, rooms are dated, moldy, bathroom smells and general cleanliness was worse than other hotels we stayed in Vietnam in the same price range. Checked out and moved to another hotel after one night.

My father and I stayed at Hotel Elite for six nights. The staff were excellent and responsive, and the hotel was safe and clean. There was some wear and tear in the rooms, but nothing too bad. While Hotel Elite is located close to some very loud areas in the city ("Beer Street"), it was fairly quiet overall because of the hotel's location in a nearby alleyway. We arranged airport pickup and dropoff and laundry service, and everything went very smoothly. We would both recommend this place to others visiting Hanoi.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. The housekeeper goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Room is cleaned and suppled daily with water, coffee, tea, towels and other toiletries that you may need. They are helpful with giving you ideas of where to eat and visit during your stay in Hanoi.

Worst hotel in our multiple months trip. Run down, rock hard bed, totally over priced. Just knock it down. Nobody cares about this place anyway. Staff was pleasant enough and I guess they do what they can. But this is an ownership problem, not staff. Stay far away.

Hanoi Elite Hotel is good for the price you paid. It is near to the busy street of old quarter and many other attractions. The staffs are accommodating, speak good english, and assisted us greatly! Not that spacious but good for your short stay in hanoi.Downside, no elevator.
