Me and my brother stayed here a couple of days ago, and we were honestly surprised out how outstanding the service was! Since there are not many rooms, the staff are very attentive to your needs and provide good recommendations based on your travel plans. Breakfast was nice and the rooms were fresh and clean. The only downside was that the shower would often get the bathroom floor wet, but other than that, I can highly recommend this establishment

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel stay was truly disappointing. They gave me a small rooftop room that looked nothing like the Deluxe Room I booked — it was looks not right extension on the roof. Only two outlets in the whole room, one for the TV and one for the fan, so I had to unplug something just to charge my phone. At night, the water stopped twice — once for two hours and again around 9 p.m. We couldn’t even shower or use the toilet properly. The worst part was seeing someone enter my room without permission to “fix the water” while I was out. The hotel never informed me about this. This place completely disrespects guests’ privacy and comfort. I have photos and witnesses to prove everything. Please, think carefully before booking this hotel.

Great stay at Hanoi House Hostel for one and a half week in and around Hanoi. Such a great value for our private room with a view over Old Quarter rooftops. Cleanliness was perfect and service was fantastic. Everyone in the staff speaks great English and are unbelievably helpful. They have an elevator which of course is a great bonus. Rooms are a bit small but definitely not too small, we could have both our suitcases open on the floor and still move around in the room. On the other hand they change your towels every day and the bathroom is of a higher standard so can't complain about anything regarding this Hostel! They are currently renovating so this place will be shining in the near future! Thank you for a great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - we actually came back to stay again! The staff are so helpful and friendly, especially while I was sick. The rooms are nice and the location is excellent. The breakfast is excellent and there is lots to choose from - probably the best breakfast we’ve had while staying somewhere. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I had attempted to contact them through their website, but I have not heard anything back. I stayed at this hotel for one night and my stay was not good. Firstly when I arrived, the reception was exceptionally dusty from the work ongoing in the hotel. It was not the most pleasant start and my bags were covered from the mess in reception. The receptionist was however friendly and booked me a taxi to the airport for the following morning. Despite being in a renovated room, the floor in the bathroom flooded after I had showered and took at least 20 minutes to fully drain. This also caused the drain to leak brown water back up and out of the drain. Secondly during the night the hotel experienced a power cut. I had to ring to reception to ask what was going on and the man was rude to me down the phone. This meant the lights and AC were off for over 45 minutes. I was then moved to an adjacent hotel but this was at 12am and I had to be up for the airport at 5am, meaning this was a quite disruptive. I appreciate they are undergoing a full renovation but if the hotel is not ready for customers you should not be selling rooms.

Beautiful hotel and close to everything. They are very handful with any request. They booked us a Halong bay tour which is cheaper than I found the price online. Totally recommended.

In terms of service and location , I can’t fault the place at all. However 2 issues, the breakfast wasn’t the best I’d steer clear of the pork sticky rice didn’t seem that edible, and then the shower which has a screen but the drain was near the toilet. (This is relevant for a private room) other than that can’t fault the place really.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The first room I was given had mold, and although some staff members tried to offer a different room, the alternatives were hardly any better—still musty and in poor condition. For what it offers, the hotel is completely overpriced. Even worse, some of the staff seemed to take advantage of guests when booking tours. During the tour itself, they were unhelpful and at times didn’t even respond when assistance was needed. Overall, I’ve had much better experiences elsewhere. I would not recommend this hotel and definitely wouldn’t stay here again.
