Hanoi La Storia Hotel

I had a great stay at Hanoi La storia. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was delicious with multiple options- Especially the chocolate pancakes and meat omelette. I would definitely recommend adding their breakfast to your itinerary. The chef was very kind and even packed breakfast for me when I was running late. The location is very convenient, right in the old quarter. Highly recommended!

We spent 6 nights here and had good time during our stay. What we liked: - Good location within the Old Quarter; easy walk to cafes, restaurants, Train Street, and the weekend night market. - Rooms are a bit small, but the beds were comfy and the linen was clean. - Housekeeping did a great job. - Staff were friendly and welcoming, always smiling and ready to help. - Hot water and shower pressure were great. - When our room had to be changed to a smaller one on arrival for one night, the hotel made up for it with a free airport transfer on our departure which was a professional gesture. What could be better: - WiFi was slow all the time. - Breakfast is quite limited and can take some time since usually one person prepares it, but the food tasted good. - There’s a construction site next door, so some noise during the day, though it’s quiet at night. Overall, a friendly place in a good location.

The location is convenient. Although the place is not very big, it is very clean. The front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is made to order and tastes quite good. I would recommend staying here.

The room I got has no window. The sheets and the bathrobe felt so stinky. However, location is perfect few minutes walk from the old quarter. Breakfast is good and big serving.

We stayed from Sept 1-3, 2025. I would not recommend this Hotel. Service wise the receptionist Tiep Le was rude and not welcoming while the hotel itself is selective to certain guests to whom they choose to be hospitable. They may have their reasons but overall, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL To add: Sometimes, staff may assume that guests on a budget cannot afford certain services—but that does not justify treating them with less respect. I also observed a noticeable difference in how Asian guests are treated compared to non-Asian guests, who seem to receive far better service. With that said, to my fellow Asians: this may not be the hotel for you.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The person who served breakfast was kind and made sure we had good options as we are vegetarians, which we really appreciated. The receptionists were all very welcoming, no matter the time of day. One of them even packed our breakfast early in the morning before our flight, which was very thoughtful. The hotel is also in a great location, close to all the main attractions in the city. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book here again when we visit Hanoi.

This is the best hotel we've stayed at during our trip to Vietnam. We have stayed at 5 different hotels throughout our journey, but this one truly stands out. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable—they even provided us with 3 rooms to ensure we had enough space and could relax fully. The food here was absolutely amazing—delicious, fresh, and very clean. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations, from the cleanliness to the warm hospitality. We are truly grateful for the excellent service and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Book this hotel last minute for 3 nights apparently after check in the receptionist keeps roughing his hair and it seems their mgnt had a overbook scenario and he was facing a great deal of not able to give us the 2nd and 3rd night as per booking paid.We were a bit mad as it was late at night ard 8.30pm when we check in..and the 2nd and 3rd night the middle apps was having trouble of refunding because the hotelier did not inform the middle app booking com.We were struggling with the issue for sometime dragging us till quite late at night when we havent had our dinner yet after arriving from the airport.I do hope the hotelier mgnr will refund back to us as the issue is not our problem but comes from them in the first place.Overall the rooms are great.However there are having a renovation next door from 8.30am to 5pm.So far no issue for me because we were out whole day and came back night for a shower and sleep only.The shower and toilet is cleaned.Theres 3 floors limited rooms.The basement is the cafe where the food is prepared after you order.Breakfast is inclusive.But not many ample seatings.
