Check-in was smooth, and there’s also an elevator. The concierge kindly helped us carry our things to the room. Upon arrival, we were offered several tour packages and decided to book one the same night we checked in. However, I’d recommend not paying upfront just in case plans change. We paid $55 USD per person in advance, but unfortunately, we couldn’t join the tour because I had a leg cramp and needed to reschedule at the last minute. My husband informed the front desk both by phone and in person early in the morning, and they said it was fine, without mentioning any rescheduling fee. Later that afternoon, we were told we had to pay an additional $25 CAD, which was unexpected. Good thing my husband asked them to confirm the booking as they didn't mention any fees in the morning. They provide toiletries and drinks (anything in the fridge is extra). They accept Visa and Mastercard (with a 3% fee) but not AMEX. We were also told we could request takeout for our tour. However, when my husband asked the restaurant if we could have breakfast in our room (since I couldn’t walk properly due to my leg cramp), they said no and that we had to dine downstairs. So even though breakfast was included, we ended up ordering food via Grab instead. On a positive note, the room itself was large, clean, and beautifully maintained.

We stayed two nights in the hotel, enjoyed it really much to be right in the center. The staff was really nice and caring. Breakfast was really good with some warm and cold dishes, very delicious juice and fresh fruit. The waiter took orders for a warm dish like omelet or pancake. We tried to organise a airport transport and early checking via booking but apparently the message did not get to the right person. But it was easy to find another driver.

I was incredibly pleased with my stay at Hanoi little town hotel. The 270 degree view from the penthouse was amazing, the breakfast was great (really recommend the mango pancakes) and best of all the staff was so friendly and helpful. The staff gave us some great recommendations and even helped us book a table at a popular restaurant nearby. All in all a great time and will definitely come back!

This is a perfect place to stay in Hanoi. It's right at the heart if Old quarter and almost every tourist attraction is a close proximity. The rooms are decent and the staff is polite Pro tip: if you are coming early and plan for early check-in, make sure you confirm with the hotel while booking that it will not lead to 1 extra day booking charges. The usual hotel check-in timings here are 12 PM and if you come early you will have to pay for an additional day and could even lead to wait times if it's a busy season and rooms are not available (even if you mention early check-in while booking) In our case we had to pay for an additional day and rooms were also not ready. Thanks to Jane, she upgraded our rooms as she sensed our disappointment after knowing about these policies and wait time so we got our room immediately.

Great little budget hotel and excellent value. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The decor of the rooms are also great. Location is excellent, right in the centre of the Old Quarter. I really felt at home here.

Excellent Stay at Hanoi Little Town Hotel! Our stay at Hanoi Little Town Hotel was truly wonderful. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the Old Quarter and close to the train station, which made getting around super easy. The breakfast was tasty and had a good variety to choose from each morning. What really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was warm and welcoming. A special shout-out to Lilly and Evelyne, who were incredibly helpful and always went above and beyond to assist us. Also, big thanks to the housekeeping lady who kept our room spotless and always greeted us with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

I’m writing this just before checking out so I don’t miss sharing how wonderful our stay has been. From the moment we arrived, the staff cared for us as if they already knew exactly what we needed. Jan at reception was always one step ahead — even offering to keep our extra luggage safe while we travelled to Sapa, which made our trip stress-free. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options and relaxing background music, and even when a technical issue meant we couldn’t use our booked suite on the first night, the hotel quickly arranged cozy alternative rooms for us. When we returned from Sapa, our 8th-floor suite was ready and exceeded expectations. With sweeping views from three sides that created an almost 360-degree panorama of the Old Quarter and the horizon beyond — along with comfy beds, plenty of plug points, and thoughtful extras like a luggage scale — the suite truly felt like a penthouse. Cooling was perfect with both AC and fans, and our kids loved the big LCD screen. Overall, this hotel is a hidden gem in the Old Quarter — spotless, comfortable, and run by staff who truly care. Highly recommended for families visiting Hanoi.

We had a good night stay here. Staff very friendly - provided umbrellas when the heavens opened! Excellent value for money Breakfast on offer was simple but great Wifi was decent Air con good Shower nice and strong Room had no window The bathroom was a great size, but the entire bathroom floor would be covered with water when you shower, as there is no curtain surrounding the bath. Should be an easy fix for the owners :)
