HanSo Café

The oatmeal porridge was amazing! As someone who has drank lots of matcha in Japan - I can say the matcha is great! ☺️ Update from Sep 15th: I had the matcha cheesecake which was magnificent, and the sesame latte (a reminder of my days in Korea) with a avocado and and scrambled eggs toast

Delighted food, cozy place, love hot matcha. We’ve ordered different plates. We were more than six people so we sat in two different tables otherwise we’ll wait too much . Worth to visit.

Oh I can’t even describe how good the food is here…. I’ve been coming here everyday to have my brunch while in Madrid… highly recommended!! P.S didn’t expect a Greek yogurt bowl to be so amazing… Great job guys!!!

Every time I’m in Madrid, I drop by HanSo for brunch. Although it’s almost always fully packed and is super difficult to get a table. I love the Turkish eggs and the Hokkaido toasts. The coffee is also really good quality. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful.

Was excited to try this place and actually waited around 45 min to get seated which was fine. The food was subpar. I could not taste the coffee in the latte and overheard the table next to us complaining about their watery latte as well. The Turkish eggs had way too much oil.

If there is a line, wait. This place is definitely worth it. We got the B.L.A.T, turkish eggs, the seasonal banana coffee, and the matcha latte. The flavor of the BLAT was very good, but could have been better if the bacon was thinner and crispier. The banana coffee was the perfect balance of coffee and banana with a great sweetness level. The matcha latte was just okay. The star of the show was the Turkish Eggs. It is a creamy, garlicky yogurt sauce with poached eggs. The flavor was out of this world and was one of the best meals we’ve had. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone. We were scooping up the leftover sauce with a spoon at the end. Overall, the atmosphere of the restaurant is great and the staff is friendly. I will be returning to Hanso Cafe when I am in Madrid again.

This cafe came up on my Google Map as a recommended cafe. The environment is minimalist and calm - love that. Coffee is quality and I’m a Colombian coffee snob. I ordered the spicy turkey sandwich and it was absolutely delicious - it did take 35 min. to arrive and I had to remind them, which they apologised for. Mistakes happen and the sandwich was worth the wait. It may seem like a good place to sit down and work, but they don’t welcome laptops at the tables. Laptops are only allowed at the tall table in the back. There may be various reasons for this, but it makes it a place to come, eat/drink, and leave.

Amazing! Creative food that tastes great in very high quality. Not your usual dishes. Very good choice for breakfast. Highly recommended
