"Disappointing Experience Despite Clear Requests for Senior Citizens" I booked a room for my parents based on the strong reputation your brand holds in the industry. During the reservation, I clearly mentioned that my parents are senior citizens and specifically requested a comfortable, well-maintained room suitable for their needs. Unfortunately, their experience did not reflect the quality of service I expected. The room began to show signs of water stagnation during their stay. Despite reporting the issue, there was no timely response. I later found out that maintenance staff only arrived when my parents were about to check out, which completely defeats the purpose of reporting the issue in the first place. I chose your property because I trusted your service standards. Regrettably, this incident has made me reconsider my future bookings with your brand, especially when traveling with family. I hope you take this feedback seriously and work toward improving responsiveness and guest care - especially for elderly guests who require extra attention.

I have stayed here many times before and always had a good stay. However, on this occasion i was put in room 1. This room appears to adjoin the kitchen along two walls and so i had not only invasive smells but lots voices and cooking sounds (including an industrial extractor fan both in the evenings and, from 7am for breakfast. Also, truly bizarre that the shower had a rail for a shower curtain, but no shower curtain, leaving a very wet bathroom. By all means stay here, but ensure that you avoid room 1!

As usual, a high quality residency. Room is big enough for a small family to live. Everything about this place is awesome. Especially food. Morning breakfast is awesome. Very kids friendly. Anyone can eat without any hesitation.

Ashok, Ajay, Kishore, Desmond, Martin, and Sudhanshu were all friendly, attentive, and helpful, consistently going out of their way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced the experience, making us feel welcomed and cared for at every interaction.||Dining Experience|Dining at Pushpa’s Kitchen was another highlight. We thoroughly enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there, appreciating the quality and variety of the meals served. The breakfast buffet offered a delicious spread including traditional Tamil & Continental dishes. The dinner was equally satisfying, served in a charming setting that complemented the overall ambiance of the residence. It would have great if tiffin items could have been included for dinner.||Overall, Hanu Reddy Residences Poes Garden offers a unique blend of old-world charm, excellent service, and a peaceful environment, making it a perfect choice for anyone seeking a comfortable and memorable stay in Chennai.

My parents and i had a great stay at Hanu Residences! The rooms were great and our favourite part was breakfast spread by Pushpa’s kitchen - their staff Ajaya and Ashok were amazing and attentive to our needs! The food was simple and tasty!

The location and the surroundings are beautiful. The service was great and we were well taken care of. The breakfast spread was small but very good. But they could put in more effort to maintain the rooms. The room we stayed in had a wall still wet from paint or something. The bathroom was clean at the first glance but should be cleaner for a place like this.

The location was beautiful, the food was enjoyable, and the overall stay had the potential to be great. However, our experience was significantly affected by the behavior of one particular staff member, which completely soured our trip. There was a mix-up during our booking—we had requested two rooms for two people each, but were instead given rooms booked for single occupancy. Once we clarified the situation with a different staff member and agreed to pay the additional charges for the extra guests, we thought the issue was resolved. Unfortunately, one staff member continued to harass us about the matter in a rude and disrespectful manner, even after it had been settled. His behavior was completely unprofessional and ruined what could have been a pleasant experience. We were left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, which is why we can only give this place one star. We hope the management addresses this issue so that future guests don’t go through the same experience.

Hanu Reddy Residences, Poes Garden, was the perfect venue for my baby shower — a small, intimate outdoor celebration. The lush greenery provided a beautiful and naturally cool setting, offering a welcome escape from Chennai’s scorching heat. Mr. Ashwin was extremely polite, approachable, and always available to assist. The entire team was wonderfully flexible and accommodating of all my preferences, making the experience smooth, stress-free, and truly memorable.
