Hanusel Hof Golf & Wellness Hotel

It was a true pleasure to stay 5 nights at Hanusel Hof and to play golf on the challenging but beautiful golf course. The staff are all highly competent and very friendly, and the restaurant offers daily choice of 4-course menus. A good address to enjoy golf and relax. My warmest congratulations to the family and a big thank you to the dedicated staff.

We spent some relaxing days in Allgäu, Germany in this nice Hotel. We booked with "Golf Unlimited", the golf course was challenging with very nice view on surroudning hills. Our hotel room was spacious (31m2), clean, with Balcony and great view. Quality of the dinner menu was excellent, wine with reasonable prices, and very friendly and attentive service. We used the Gym room (2nd floor), it was well equipped to do you cardio or muscle training. The spa area had different saunas with rest area, and inside and an outside pool. |Beside the golf course the surrounding area offers interesting spots to visit, do hiking, biking. Kempten offers also good shopping, the weekly market on Wednesday and Saturday is recommended.

Words can't begin to describe the wonderful experience I had here. The food is honestly better than food I've had at Michelin star restaurants. The room I stayed in had everything; large bathtub, separate shower with one of those rainfall shower heads; complimentary toiletries. It was quiet, relaxing, and the owner and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The golf course (it was covered in snow when I was there) was really great for walking, and seeing the forest and surrounding area. Honestly, if you don't want to leave the hotel over a weekend, you don't need to. It has everything you need. The spa was top notch.

The hotel is family run in a wonderful location at the feet of the Alps. The still partially snow covered mountains were to be seen on the horizon. The style is plenty wood with a local Bavarian flavor extending to the dresses of the service people (male and female). Service is very attentive, I would amazing how easily they get to know their guests. Rooms spacious, modern. Night sleep with fresh air and an occasional cow bell. Food very good; afternoon cake as well. A golf course is next door so the patrons are mostly golf-related, probably to a large extent the local club members which gives a nice atmosphere to the hotel, the terrace, the restaurant etc. Had a two-day business meeting there.

It's the 4th time we are back to Hanuselhof. It's almost a trading to come for Easter...||Well so far not so lucky as it snow for the second year... But there is plenty to do and enjoy even if you cannot play golf. ||The food is always at the highest level! Excellent selection of wines and single malts (special bottlings).||Nice little spa with a nice pool as well to relax in the afternoon. We visited a little bit the surroundings and found Kempten to be a very nice city, especially the market.||What should I say more. We always feel at home at Hanuselhof as the service is excellent. The gastronomic experience is at a very high level as well.... Prices... went up a little, but still very good quality/price ratio. We will be coming back for sure

I can only confirm previous comments. I would like to highlight the food that is very good for a German standard as well as the staff is very helpful and friendly. Prices are very correct for the facilities. You can also enjoy the golf course! I did not plan to play so I did not have my set neither my shoes. I still manage to hit some balls on the driving range. I may come back to this hotel if I go oh holiday since it seems to be a beautiful region!

Very relaxing Wellness hotel. Excellent staff throughout the hotel. Excellent kitchen and worth staying just for the breakfast and evening menu! Wine prices are inflated as always with such hotels and the spirits must be index-linked to the gold market so check before you order! Sauna and pools are pleasant but get crowded towards late afternoon but get their early and one finds everything one needs. The hotel is integrated with a golf course but I don't play so no comment. To get the most out of walking in the area one needs a car but for a weekend break there are a few pleasant 2-3 hour walks that one can start from the hotel. If one arrives by train the taxis have a 25€ flat rate fare. Hotel Wifi is free but not good, in fact almost pointless so if you are reliant on internet take your own connectivity! I will go back to this hotel.

Four of us stayed September 21 and it is wonderful. ||Check in service was smooth and professional. She went out of her way to make sure that we knew about the services and location of amenities. ||Rooms are very large and ours had a balcony for morning coffee and a view of the Alps. ||On a golf course that is excellent. We do not play but most other did. ||Highly recommended
