We had a team Christmas party 9. January 2025. A small intimate, subtile furnished restaurant with a warm atmosphere. Our waiter was really nice, good knowledge and picked excellent wines to the different dishes. (since this was mid week we had wine bottles instead of package). All the dishes was perfectly composed with flavors and combinations. Together with the wines made a perfect evening with good colleguages.

Hands down, the best dining experience we had in our two weeks in Norway. 2 of our party ordered the vegan tasting menu, and it was exceptionally delicious and well presented. The dishes look small, but by the end we were full of food and wine and thoroughly satisfied. The service was top notch as well (Thanks Simen!!) Will definitely return on our next trip.

We had a wonderful experience, and a big part of it was thanks to our sommelier, Tone. She was incredibly warm, attentive and knowledgeable, explaining the wines with clarity and genuine passion. Her recommendations were spot on and really elevated our evening. You could truly feel that she cares about both the wine and the guests’ experience. A lovely presence and a real credit to the team. One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in Oslo. Not only was the food fantastic, the service level and presentation were remarkable. Thank you for hosting us and I look forward to returning another time! (Don’t forget to pay the Money Cat it’s respect if your seated next to it).

Happolati is one of the hidden pearls of Oslo. They’ve been around for ages, but seem to just get better over the years. We tried the 8 course menu, which was faultless and wonderful. The service was warm and friendly, and the wine list extensive and reasonably priced. What’s not to love? Happolati, a very consistently great experience.

We had the small menu which was perfect for us.. The food is Asian with a Nordic twist and tastes so good! There is real attention to details both in food and interior. The service is great and at the end of the meal they gave us banana bread to take home. So sweet!

Nice restaurant with Asian inspired food. Looks like the restaurant uses good quality ingredients. Good selection of wine as well. We started with delicious pacific oysters with apple and ginger before the 6 course menu. The duck egg & lumpfish roe was interesting but not my favorite. The wild salmon & kimchi was very good. The monkfish was great but the sauce a bit too salty. Delicious dumplings. The noodle soup was disappointing. It was too much lemon and salt and the noodles not cooked enough. The dessert was delicious.

This place really creeps up on you and knocks you for six. The unassuming, modest interior belies a culinary experience out of the ordinary. We all ordered the large set menu to get the full Monty. Unlike a lot of places there was no filler dish at the end, if you know what I mean. (Nodee serve loads of small dishes and you're always wanting more until the end when a mountain of Peking duck arrives) where these guys give you slightly more each time, just enough to keep you wanting more but not leaving you ravenous. This has also to do with the pacing, with Japanese tempo: four ultra tasty snacks in quick succession (chili cheese balls blew me away even though the oyster snacky things that came first would have been at home in a 3* restaurant) followed by four more dishes at a leisurely pace. These included the craziest langoustine ever (gratinert and the head and claws blowtorched in a wooden wine box with a glass lid!) Some very interesting Japanese beers to choose from and a comprehensive wine list that we didn't look at. Very friendly attentive service too. Book before it gets too popular - this place is going to rock Oslo for a while!

Great service. Good taste.. soup is good and the interiør is Nice. Really like their wonton here!

Went there for Valentine's Day last year. Was a super fun, unique experience. I highly recommend if you want a special twist on Asian food. I'll be going back again :)
