Happy Campers

Happy campers--that's us! Airport pick up and camper drop off were seamless. Love the "grocery" where we picked some items for our trip. We were in Iceland for 4 nights/5 days (end June/first week July) and the 4x4 camper van made sense because we can drive anywhere, anytime without having to pack/unpack every day! We did Reykjavik, South and East. Camper was very roomy for four grown up adults, even with with two wheelchairs! Kitchen has everything needed for cooking or stashing snacks. It was a pleasant surprise that we did not need to hook up the van to water or electricity. We were able to charge the electric wheelchairs and all our phones/tablets using the camper's interior outlets. The blankets are a good thickness and kept us warm; with all around curtains keeping the sun out when it was bright outside at midnight. Since it was 4x4, we were able to go go more remote roads where it is mandatory to have a 4x4. Iceland is such a magnificent country and would love to visit it again and see the north and west next time! Definitely will look at booking Happy Campers again. My son took most of the pics on his camera but I do have a few on my phone and sharing here. Thank you Happy Campers for making our trip so memorable!

I took my daughter on a ten day road trip around Iceland. Everything with our Happy Camper went perfectly. Marina checked us in quickly and got us on the road. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and ran smoothly. After returning to the office on our last day, Ola checked us out smoothly and made sure we were happy with our trip. Happy Campers is a great company and would definitely use them again should we find ourselves back in Iceland.

We recently rented a van from Happy Campers and we had a great experience. The shuttles to and from the airport were awesome. The staff was very friendly. Our van worked perfectly and suited all our needs. The Wi-Fi was so helpful with navigation. It allowed us to see so many beautiful amazing sites all over Iceland. I would highly recommend renting from Happy Campers if you want to check Iceland off your bucket list.

We loved our Happy Camper 2 trip around Iceland for a week. The van was well equipped and very comfortable. We really loved the freedom it gave us to work out our itinerary on the go. Booking with Happy Campers and then getting set up in the van was great. Thanks to the friendly staff (Ola and David)! We had lots of fun on an unforgettable holiday!

Being a first time camper it was a very good experience how happy campers managed everything. The cars are not the newest ones but everything worked just fine except the remote control to open and close the doors did suddenly not work anymore. But help by phone was good and also help in person came fast. The fridge had its own life und froze everything inside, I just could not alter the temperature setting, although that should be easy enough. I can highly recommend Happy Campers.

Really great experience renting from Happy Campers! The customer service was great. They were very helpful when I was having booking issues with the website. And we got a shuttle ride to and from the airport which was awesome. We got one of the smaller vans. The van was small but functional and well thought out. Easy to drive and park. Next time I’d probably book a bigger van (my husband is 6’3” and we barely both fit in there!). But I’d highly recommend happy campers and would totally book with them again! The extra add ons were really helpful too (phone holder, internet box, guitar) and helped the trip go smoothly. Thanks for a great trip!

Happy campers were top tier from pick up at the airport to checking in and check out! Staff is really dope gave us all the warning and heads up ahead of time which made our experience a breeze. Our happy camper 2 was perfect ! Couldn’t have made our Iceland trip any easier, I would rent from happy camper over and over again. Me and my wife literally feel like family . We love you happy camper !

Had an amazing time in Iceland and was only possible thanks to Happy Campers. Customer service was excellent. Staff was super friendly and helpful for our first road trip around the ring road. Our Happy1 was comfortable and had everything we needed for a great week around the beautiful country. We encountered some troubling road conditions but the studded tires on our van saved us from issues. Would use Happy Campers in a few years when we return for a different season. Takk Fyrir!
