This restaurant came highly reviewed and it was a disappointment. The atmosphere is austere - NY Subway tiles on walls and tables many of which are communal in style. The highlights of the meal were the potatoes (both puree and fried) and the tomato salad - all three of which were very good. We have eaten at far better fish restaurants nearby and suggest you do as well.

Became a classic tourist trap It was nice a while back. Ate there couple of time. Food used to be fresh tasty and reasonably priced (to Israel standards) But something changes for the worst. Portion sizes are ridiculously small and prices went up drastically. Fish shawarma had maybe 30-35 grams of fish and some vegetables. Costs 90 shekels. Bonkers. Vegetables salad was prepared with cold stale products and was too salty, And was served in a tiny dish like the one you'll get with appetizers so you can imagine how small it was. Would not recommend.

Ordered gin and tonic that arrived quickly but tonic was flat!! I returned the drink to the waitress who said she would replace it. The second drink never arrived and in the meantime we finished our meal and I cancelled the drink. Disappointment! We sat inside the restaraunt in the inner room which we found noisy and could even hear conversations at other tables across the room. Not the quiet surroundings I had hoped for to enjoy a nice meal with my wife.

Overlooking the nicest pedestrian mall in jerusalem is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy first class food: happy fish has an almost secret entrance along the mall - look for the security guide across from Zara and the narrow staircase… the seviche was good albeit too many onions and black olives. the salmon tartar was yummy too.. the red drum fish with tabouleh was perfectly seasoned and a delight. Ziv was the kindest waiter- very attentive and caring. we sat over the bridge people watching but the kitchen wasn’t up to par re service. It took 40 minutes for first course to arrive. We were generously compensated with free dessert - golden crush. Definitely will become return customers!!

The food was excellent and the service was great! We sat on the bridge and enjoyed sitting above Mamila street. We ordered the mushroom linguine and the fish and chips. The mushroom linguine tasted fantastic. It was full of flavor. The fish and chips was probably the best we've ever had. The coating was super thick and crispy. Very filling. Highly recommend.

I have eaten many times here and the food is always tasty and great quality. Menu is small so usually indication to great chef and ingredients fresh. I called for reservation and the service is top. The waiters are always nice and know the little things that make the restaurant a higher class. Besides the fish i recommend the sicilian pasta. Just delicious. Also the lemon pie is awesome. The interior decor is nice and outside area is also very thoughtfully designed. I recommend the bridge so you can see all the people below walking on mamilla road. Fun to watch. Although in the winter its less comfortable because of low temperatures. Also it is connected to mamilla hotel so one can enter from hotel straight into restaurant or from mamilla road.

An excelent place to eat fish or veggie food in Mamilla. It is located on an upper floor so you can sit in an awesome terrace or they have tables inside the building. The decoration is beautiful! The food portions are very generous and delicious and the staff is very friendly. The pita bread is a must!!! They have a Kosher certificate. I recommend you to have the Fish Shawarma with hummus. It's amazing!!

We unfortunately went on a Tuesday evening when apparently they have a live singer playing a bouzouki & singing, obviously, Greek music. I don't love it, but I wouldn't have minded so much if it weren't so freaking loud that you could hear it all the way in the Mamilla apartments across the street.... I love music, but when you want fine dining, it means being able to hear conversation at your own table! Secondly, we waited a good 10 to 15 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation. Food : not enough salad options in my opinion, at all. Food is good- though of the numerous mezes put out with the main I ordered, very few were truly good and not enough were worthy of being accompanied by the good frena bread... My main dish was very good (grilled fish) but was presented /plated looking very lonely on a bare plate with only 2 mini grilled peppers. Service was very attentive & pleasant. Desserts were delicious & generous. Overpriced, but since it's a hotel restaurant (Mamilla Hotel) I suppose they feel justified. I don't feel the same! Overall : ⭐⭐⭐
