Happy Goat Coffee Co. (Gemini)

Great locally-owned coffee shop in an area that is sorely lacking independent coffee places... all that's nearby is Starbucks and Tim Hortons. Tons of seating as it's located in the lobby of a condo tower. Spacious yet cozy. My one gripe is as follows: there is NO free parking nearby, and it's not in a pedestrian-friendly area. Gemini towers offers 30 minutes of free parking before you have to pay. Please please Happy Goat Coffee, consider validating parking for your customers even if it's to extend the free Gemini parking to one hour. Always makes me a bit reticent to visit when I know I have to pay for coffee AND pay for parking.

Tucked inside a condominium complex yet fully open to the public, it features a bright, modern interior with a subtle touch of luxury. Service was fast, efficient, and no-nonsense — ideal for a quick morning coffee or a focused work session. ⸻ Coffee Quality I ordered a cappuccino with lactose-free milk. • Espresso: Bold and full-bodied • Milk Texture: Smooth and well-steamed • Beans: Classic Happy Goat roast The espresso slightly overpowered the milk, resulting in a stronger cup than a traditional cappuccino. That said, the flavor was excellent, and the foam had a light, meringue-like texture. With strong coffee served in stylish cups and a thoughtful layout perfect for working or relaxing, it’s well worth a visit

I visited this location hoping to support a local business, but the experience was unfortunately disappointing. From the moment I walked in, the staff member (a shorter female) I interacted with seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. When I asked a simple question about parking, the response felt curt. After ordering, our hot drinks were only lukewarm. I normally order the same drinks all the time, and both were definitely not hot. When I politely asked if they could be reheated, I was told this was their “normal temperature” and that they would remake them this time, but that I should ask for extra hot next time so the drink wouldn’t be wasted, which came across as dismissive. They did remake the drinks, but both were made incorrectly. Overall, the experience felt unwelcoming, which was disappointing since I genuinely wanted to support a local coffee shop.

Super good quality, very comfy. Peak relaxation. Best café I been to. Perfect atmosphere! I usually dislike sandwiches but this was very very good, never would’ve guessed it’s not a high-end restaurants sandwich. I also like the latte style a lot. The main focus is flavour. I work at a different coffee shop & we put emphasis on latte art, which is more stressful for workers and takes focus away from the taste. Even without the latte art , this latte looks cuter in a way, more simple and fluffy. Less intense. Not ridiculously busy either, you can catch a well needed break. Would love to study here if I lived near. Really sweet place to catch up with loved ones. Probably now my go to café location. I’ve been at the one in Rideau but this location is best package. The service could’ve been a bit more up beat and more clear. But, it’s more of a relaxed vibe this way in a sense :) None the less, I liked the slow easy pace of the customer service at Happy Goat :) More authentic in a way. Thank you. So used to my café, I really wanted to give praise to one really done right.

Very nice place with very tasty coffee (flat white is what we had). Good place to do some work, read or talk.

I typically like Happy Goat but this location felt quite …cold. It’s a big open space in a building lobby. Smoothies are $14. Parking is paid at 4.5$ for 30 mins. Not the coffee shop vibe I’m looking for. Staff were very friendly though.

Well brewed coffee - magnificent customer service. Suitable for students as well with several study - work spots. You must pay for parking if ur driving and not many spots are usually available.

Really neat interior, lots of vegan and dairy free options. Sandwiches and wraps are great prices. Felt like I was in a commons area (I'm a good way) and felt very welcoming.
