Harajuku Gyoza Beer Stadium Darling Harbour

Great spot for after work to unwind, before a show, and of course Gyoza! They have unique Gyoza such as Cheeseburger Gyoza, Okonomiyaki Gyoza etc. We had the Cheeseburger Gyoza which were deep fried gyozas in ketchup, mustard & pickles… so tasty & it really tasted like cheeseburger 🍔! Wash it down with beer from their in house brewery. I had Yoyogi Rice Lager which was such a refreshing beer. Great cocktails too, but wish that they have more options for mocktails though! Awesome dessert menu. The Golden Gaytime Bao was so yum. They have outdoor seatings for people watching. Friendly service too!

Tried this dumpling restaurant recently and overall it wasn’t too bad. The dumplings were fresh and the flavours were decent, just not something that really stood out or felt special. Service was friendly and the place was clean, so no complaints there. Not overly exciting, but definitely worth a try if you’re in the area and feel like dumplings. I’d go back again to try a few other dishes.

We had a lovely, late lunch. Prawn Gyoza, Raw Tuna Salad and Popcorn Pork Belly. All of the food was good, but the pork belly was exceptional. I expect it could be busier and noisier than when we were there.

I had an incredible afternoon at Harajuku Gyoza Beer Stadium in Darling Harbour. The atmosphere is lively, fun, and welcoming—exactly what you want from a modern Japanese-style beer hall. It’s also a surprisingly great place to relax and watch the hustle of the CBD pass by, thanks to its fantastic waterfront location and open, energetic vibe. The selection of beers is outstanding, with fresh and flavourful options brewed on-site that pair perfectly with the food. There’s also a wide range of sake, offering something for every taste—from light and smooth to bold and aromatic. It’s a great spot whether you’re a casual drinker or someone who likes exploring new beverages. Food-wise, everything was excellent. The spicy lotus chips were a standout—crispy, flavour-packed, and served in a generous portion that’s perfect for sharing. The huge selection of gyoza is another major highlight, with an impressive range of flavours and styles. Every gyoza we tried arrived hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Service was fast, friendly, and upbeat, adding to the overall positive experience. Combined with the great drinks, fantastic food, and the unbeatable Darling Harbour location, Harajuku Gyoza Beer Stadium is easily one of the best casual dining spots in the area. I’ll definitely be back.

That was perfect, good price, excellent food and very good service. I especially want to thanks Maiko who really helped me chose something good and left me a with very good memory of this place. I'll come back !

The beer was fresh and tasty. The food was fairly average, nothing special compared to expectations. It’s a decent place to stop by for a beer.

Came here for the Osaka Omurice Pop-up experience and they were delicious! The egg omelette was cooked perfectly right at your table and it was very juicy and smooth inside. They have 3 different flavours I tried the Classice Demi Glace flavour and the Signature Okonomiyaki which was my favourite. We also tried the other menu items at Harajuku Gyoza which are popular for their Japanese inspired crafted beers that are brewed on site and their Gyozas . We ordered : - Pork Gyoza with Hollandaise sauce - Lemongrass Chicken Gyoza 👍 - Yoyogi Cherry Blossom Apple Cider 👍 - Sake Mule 👍 - Matcha Mont-Blanc Dessert 👌🏻 - Miso Togarashi Butter Corn Ribs 👌🏻

I was invited for the omurice special event and it was Absoultely Amazing. Multiple rounds of a absoultely delicious food and cocktail then meet the viral you legend himself where he performs the show stoping Omurice meal. Dinner and a show! The dessert was so delicious and ended the night on a fantastic note. Was a fun atmosphere was very busy night but that was to be expected.

If you love the Japanese Gyoza (like I do), this restaurant is a must visit! Harajuku Gyoza specialises in different types of Gyoza, Yum bowls and Japanese alcoholic drinks like sake and craft and imported beers. You can see the large stainless steel vats of craft beer standing tall behind the bar. Using Japanese brewing styles, their Yoyogi brand craft beers are unfiltered and unpasteurised with no preservatives or artificial additives. The core range of Yoyogi beer and ciders is available including Pale Ale, Dry Lager, IPA, Black Lager, Cider and Honey Cream Ale. The bar also serves imported beers and ciders from all over Japan. The walls are adorned with Japanese decorated plates. Very cool designs on every plate including the plates on your table. The food menu is presented on a small iPad to make ordering easy. The food offerings include many different kinds of Gyoza Dumplings, Yum Japanese Rice bowls and delicious desserts. The standard traditional Pork Gyoza is available but with so many different variations you would be silly not to order my personal favourites like the Lemongrass Chicken Gyoza, Crispy Prawn Gyoza and Duck Gyoza (poached with Spicy Vinegar). Harujuku also serves great Yum bowls including Teriyaki Chicken Don, Chicken Katsu Curry, Chicken Katsudon and Teriyaki Salmon Don. I highly recommend the Chicken Katsu Curry which is the best I have eaten at any restaurant. It was coated in Panko crumb and served to perfection with Japanese Katsu sauce and rice. Now for the beers! We chose Asahi Japanese bottled beer but were then encouraged to try some of the Yoyogi Rice Lager craft brew. Wow - smooth and so refreshing! Finally to finish our meal, the very kind manager Evangelo presented us with a serve of Hakutsuru Sake. I sipped it slowly as it was very potent. Thank you Evangelo for your warm and welcoming hospitality. Your food is perfectly satisfying and the staff and service to your guests are always excellent. We can't wait to return again for some more delicious gyozas and of course another tasty Katsu Curry Chicken.

Really great eating experience with an extensive selection of craft beers and delicious gyoza. Wish I had a second stomach to take advantage of the entire menu.

GREAT Dumplings and amazeballs Japanese craft beer. Tapas menu and a great selection of nibbles.

I tried the pork prawn gyoza ($10) and cheeseburger gyoza ($10). The accompanying sauces made the sauces on the table unnecessary. The ginger soy/vinegar that came with the pork prawn was delicious. The ketchup and mustard drizzled over the cheeseburger gyoza was great. Service was fantastic; our server didn't miss a beat and was polite and professional. They also have some cool plates and decor.

We can only hope that our experience was not representative of the usual service at this location. Our booking was not found, and the staff were in chaos as there were many people lined up to eat before a big show at the Sydney Theatre. Table service was abandoned, and we ordered drinks and food from the bar. Only our drinks were delivered relatively promptly. We waited nearly an hour without any food before chasing a waiter. We were told that the food was coming in about 15 minutes - when that failed, we pushed again and got one plate of 5 Gyoza. It was nice, but not enough for dinner. When we had to leave for the show, we cancelled the rest of our order and left. Many other people there on the night left without getting anything served.

A fun place with tasty gyoza, but perhaps more suited as a fast food or causal bistro. The huge restaurant was a little intimidating for being one of the only two patrons when I visited. I really appreciated the effort put into designing the kawaii mascot and the cosy Japanese style serving dishes. Each of the plates had a different print! The service was also impeccable. Granted there was only one other customer, the lady was super friendly and attentive. She was generous and didn't make a fuss when I requested mayo and ketchup for my fries! I also really enjoyed the food and was extremely happy when the new items that were not yet on the menu were available. The cheeseburger gyoza (9AUD) were nicely fried with a nice crunch and yet were not too oily. The cheese helped to get the meat together, but as a cheese lover I would have wanted more cheese with the meat. The foot long fries (8AUD) were definitely a monster to conquer, I think I still feel full after two days of finishing it myself. They were beautifully fried and the potatoes were creamy on the inside. But I wished there were more flavour on the batter. I definitely needed ketchup and mayo to add to the fries. All in all, I really enjoyed my experience at Harajuku Gyoza, but I'm not sure when I'll be back. Now, if it were a street stall at a mall, I'll probably visit every week

Instagram succeeded in luring me into this restaurant. I saw the trending photos of the japanese style souffle pancakes at Harajuku Gyoza and i was instantly drawn to them. Nothing quite like fluffy pancakes. The cute gyoza stamp doesn't hurt either. I made a reservation prior online and ended up catching their happy hour. This meant more beer and more chicken wings! Unfortunately i thought the chicken wings were better than the gyoza. The pancakes came out last and didn't even need the toppings. They didn't disappoint. Just be prepared to share.

Not a fan!! Got delivery and the gyoza was sooo sooo subpar. I don't really understand how gyoza can be so subpar. The tempura eggplant was tasty (hence the two stars and not one star). Ordered the Prawn, pork and lemongrass chicken gyoza. The chicken one was horrible. Other two were tolerable.

This place is highly recommended.. The foods are great and customer service are fantastics. High five to Joe-san who assisted us. If you guys are closely or traveling to sydney... Check out this place whenever you visit Sydney, Australia

Delicious and inventive but authentic food. Loved the chicken karaage and the cheeseburger gyoza was crazy good. Definitely give this place a try. I loved it. Also the selection of beer was awesome.

Friend ordered 2nd wine, server: "let's get f****ed up!". Well okay then. Great dumplings/gyoza, but the open ones were really difficult to eat. "it's like a taco" okay, but it's too wide and you get once bite and then the rest falls apart. The main problem was with my tempura eggplant. It was half an eggplant, cut into two pieces lengthwise and only one was tempura'd. The tempura'd one was raw inside. Put me off the rest of the meal. They yell every time you get sake, so be prepared.

I really love this place! There's nothing better than walking into a restaurant and being yelled at excitedly by all the staff, getting yelled at when you order sake, getting yelled at when you leave the restaurant...there's a lot of yelling in this place but it's all part of the experience! And to top it all off their dumplings are delicious. I've been a couple of times and tried most of the dumplings, the pork and the duck gyoza, the chicken karate and the fried eggplant are amongst my favourites. Also their happy hour chicken wings that you get when you order an alcoholic beverage are amazing. Then don't forget to finish your meal with dessert dumplings which are an excellent novelty. I've had the banana chocolate and the salted caramel ones and they're all good. Just eat all the foods here basically.

Cutest place you will find.. We were driving off from another eating adventure when I saw the sign for this restaurant. This is after 9pm and we were pretty full already. We decided to go in since there was no line up. One less star for not having the Wagyu Wasabi Gyoza The place was CUTE! Graphic plates decorate the walls with a nicely ventilated cooking counter in the center. Each of us had a different graphic plate. We wanted to try the Wagyu Wasabi Beef Gyoza but it was sold out. We tried the duck confit - delicious, shrimp - which was ok but 3 is just not enough for the price charged, and the super fatty pork appie- fatty and good, taste was exceptional. The piece of resistance was the beer slush ice..YES BEER SLUSHIE. It is a draft beer with a tasty beer SLUSHIE on top, it tasted like frozen beer, refreshing and delish. The restaurant comes with a lift if you need wheelchair assistance, the handicap washroom is huge. The regular washrooms have the super deluxe toilet that gives you a wash and spin and whole lot of buttons to play with. We will return again earlier if we are back to Sydney. Worth the wait!

What is Gyoza for those that do not know? Its pretty much a fried dumpling or pot sticker. So if you like yum cha you will love this place! Located on Bayswater Rd just behind the Coca-Cola sign. Harajuku Gyoza is a happy place and they want you to be "happy in the tummy" as their slogan suggests, even the dumpling on the window has a smiling face! They also mention, you must 'Come in hungry like Godzilla"....:P They do not take bookings so we rocked up around 7pm and there were few seats at the bar or stand alone tables. This place is great for nibbles, lunch, dinner and groups. The plates are quirky with different pictures of Japanese themed such as buildings, Harajuku girls, scenery and so fourth. This place does remind me of being in Shinjuku. Any quirky thing is when someone orders a sake (i think could be umeshu) the waitresses start screaming in Japanese. Quite strange but hilarious at the same time! To get things rolling we got Kirin on Tap and Rising Sun pale ale then for food: 1 x Grilled pork gyoza (5 pieces) $8 1 x Poached duck gyoza (5 pieces) $8 1 x Vege grilled gyoza (5 pieces) $8 1 x Chilli Chicken Kaarage $9 1 x Edamame beans $4 That was for 2 and that was quite filling! We also did not want to fill up too much because we wanted to try out their desserts! For dessert we got the Nutella Banana gyoza with ice cream ($9 for 3 pieces). It was everything you can expect - warm gooey nutella with bits of banana through it. YUM! Pity there was only 3 :( I give this place a thumbs up.Definitely will be back to try the sake cocktails and the frozen beer....hmm very interesting.

Majorly crushing on this place at the moment. Beer and dumplings are always a winning combination in my book and this place does them especially well. It's great if you just want a simple meal. They have a few sides and extra mains, but it's really about the gyoza. It comes $8 for 5 pieces. They have tables that can accommodation both small and large groups, plus plenty of seating around the bar with these wide, comfy, circular seats. The service is extremely friendly and welcoming and actually did remind me of my recent trip to Tokyo. I think these guys will do very with this new Potts Point location, excited to have them in Sydney.

An awesome experience. If you want to feel like you are in Tokyo, go here! Totally authentic Tokyo CBD experience! Service awesome, food even better. From Cheeseburger Gyoza to Buffalo Wing Gyoza, delicious. You must order at least one round of Sake, perfect affordable experience. The only reason I don't rate it a 5 star, is the menu diversity. I loved what was available, but others were looking for a more complete Japanese menu.

Arrived in Sydney around 6p and needed something that wasn't fried. During our two weeks in AUS we have had amazing brunch food, but dinners have been lackluster and mostly fried foods. Wanted something 'fresh'. Found this on Yelp and decided we would give it a go. Glad we did. Everything was exceptionally tasty. Start with the vinegar slaw - a great refreshing start to the meal. We had the share plate of wings, lemongrass chicken gyoza, a special spicy sausage gyoza (that took me straight back to Thailand), duck gyoza in a vinegar sauce and the pork gyoza. All were exceptional. Paired with one of their micro-brewed beers - perfect! Definitely a 'go to' recommendation!

This was a surprise favourite from our trip to Sydney ... it ended up being next door to our hotel, so we decided to come here on the Sunday night we arrived. The staff were friendly as soon as we walked in, and made us feel very welcome. We ordered some pork gyoza, vegetable gyoza and pork belly. All absolutely delicious, washed down with some Japanese beer. YUM!! For dessert, I tried the salted caramel gyoza, while my partner had the Nutella and banana ones ... she had food envy, because the salted caramel were AMAZING!! And yes, there is a lot of excited shouting accompanying the delivery of sake - it's a celebration, apparently. So we decided that the night after, we would come here again for dessert and sake. Which we did, haha! Definitely one to bookmark for our next visit to Sydney :)

Fresh japanese street food, high grade and very tasty. Our recommended dishes qre the fried eggplant and octopus balls.

The most delicious, fun, simple place to eat in King's Cross. No, really. Easy, friendly, affordable, delicious. Cute? Cute. Who knew? Who cares? Bias alert: Harajuku Gyoza is next to our hotel. We searched Yelp and found other eateries. But this sounded perfect. And it was.

Funny little dumpling place in the Cross with friendly and quirky staff--- Expect lots of yelling for random things (when someone comes into the restaurant, leaves, orders sake, etc etc) and a fun atmosphere, as well as decent dumplings at an excellent price. Be sure to check out the toilet at some point as well. It's got a remote control attached and looks as if it performs about 20 different functions. Really hoping the seat warmer was turned up high on my last visit......

Love this place. It's fairly casual, can sit at bar stools at a bench or tables. It was pretty busy and buzzing with excitement. Upon entry you are greeted warmly with your Japanese welcome. Staff were having a great time, singing for people's birthdays and cheering some guys having sake shots. This place was fun, and it was a Sunday. Would be great for a birthday. I'd been keen to go for a while and excited to try the slushie cider - haven't seen these before!! How cool and delicious is this! Ordered a few types or gyoza; one lot had a full Prawn in a dumpling pan fried and the other had pork and prawn. There's also vegetarian ones. You make your own dipping sauce by mixing soy and vinegar and the combination made for a tasty meal. I also ate the sesame salad; cabbage salad with a sesame sauce and lotus crisp - I really enjoyed this. Hubby got a ramen, he enjoyed the taste of the broth with noodles and vegetables. One of the reasons I went was for the desserts - I'm one for a gimmick. Got the jelly watermelon. It certainly looked amazing and wobbled as it should with chocolate drops (or watermelon seeds ;) However I didn't like the flavour of this much. The girls Working there were lovely, helpful and efficient. They probably needed another staff member as they were so busy and we had to call them over for things but they were doing a good job. I highly enjoyed the experience.

Came here on the recommendation from a fellow yelper (you know who you are!). We arrived on a Saturday night after having had dinner elsewhere. We were quite full and unsure whether we wanted to go or not. But once we walked in we had no regrets. The place was buzzing and lively and we were lucky to snag the last two counter seats. The wait staff were very attentive and quick to take our orders. We noticed that they had frozen beer on tap too late after we had placed our orders. There was a large list of gyozas on offer from duck to pork to Nutella filled, from grilled to poached. We chose the grilled duck gyoza. The gyozas did take a while to come out, but when they did we forgot about the waiting. They were delicious! Some of best gyozas I've had. I can't wait to return to try out some of their dessert gyozas!

This place deserves all the stars for many different reasons. First of all - Show me dumplings ! I am Polish ;-) This place has its priorities in the right order. In Sydney the problem is that with high end prices you don't get a quality, you usually get imitation of quality. Harajuku has the right price for the menu they serve. Menu is short and bullet proof. Food is simple, taste amazing and is made with lots of love. They are more than happy to serve you all possible Japanese beers and spirits....and this place has amazing Spirit and great stuff. I would say normally 4 stars ....but dumplings there are just amazing and team at Harajuku is most welcoming ...so why not 5

Pretty disappointing. While about three different people tried to take our order, only one staff member was able to take orders of the special, the pancakes. Despite being their five minutes after opening time (12 noon), the first pancake order wasn't available until 2pm. And we were only allowed to order one serve for the table. (This rule really annoyed the people seated next to us who had two parents and two children and they were expected to take the one order available at 1:40pm and share the three pancakes in the one serving between the four of them). None of these rules were made clear in the very heavy promotions they have been running in local media. Don't waste your time.

No way I'd be back. The miso soup was way too salty. The pork dumplings were OK -nothing to write home about (at all!) and the desert - salted caramel dumplings - were nasty! I love salted caramel, but they have managed to put so much salt in it that it did not even taste alike caramel. totally disappointing! Service was good...

What a fun and delicious place! The shoyu ramen was pretty good. The staff were awesome. Its a bit expensive... but what are you gonna do, it's Sydney! Hint: order yourselves some sake for a special treat. Unless you have a headache or sensitive ears...

My friends and I come here all the time for birthdays, small events, casual dinners and lunches and bring people from out of time too! The staff are AMAZING always so welcoming and attentive, very sweet and kind people! great atmosphere + incredible food! Great price points for all ranges so it's an awesome place to bring friends!! (Also if you go the toilets are really cool and high tech Japanese style!) I've never had a bad experience here!

Was there around 1PM, 2 of us ordered Ramen, 2 ordered curry chicken and one ordered pork and shrimp dumplings. For ramen: the egg was cold in the center, noodle was all stuck together and soup was so salty that we could not eat at all. Dumplings were cold in the center. And curry too more than 30 minuServer was nice enough to offer replacement so we ordered curry chicken. Taste was good but still too salty and rice were little hard. We think they were just not prepared well before they open for lunch. Very disappointed with 4 star Yelp rating.

Food and service was amazing! Best Goyza in Sydney. We much preferred the grilled to the steam however. A must go for a cute and satisfying meal.

Delicious! We has chicken gyoza, duck gyoza (duck was better), chicken karaage (good), pork katsudon (good), and pork belly kakuni (wow!). Finished it all off with salted caramel gyoza. Their beer selection is admirable, with Hitachino Nest white ale, Rising Sub Pale Ale, and Koshihikari Rice Beer in the bottle (and Kirin on tap). Recommended, we'll be back!

Nice simple dishes with reasonable price. Service was good and food was good. First time trying Suntory Whisky Highball and was very nice.

One of my favourite places to eat in Sydney at the moment. Cute, fun atmosphere, delicious dumplings and cocktails, a plus in every way. Great place to go with a few friends, you could stay and chat for hours. Make sure you order at least one of the dessert gyozas, they're pretty awesome.

Brisbane's izakaya and Gyoza favourite hits Sydney. Enjoy the delicate Gyoza pastries filled with your choice of Pork, Duck, Prawns or Vegetables but don't forget the izakaya sides, notably the Pork Belly Kakuni. It was quiet when I popped in for lunch, presumably evening beers and bites is where it's at. Great music to boot.

One of the gems of the Cross. Why isn't it packed 24/7 like it's Brisbane counterpart? Great fun atmosphere. Let's face it people, it's all about the gyoza which is brilliant. Also no one talks about dessert gyoza which shouldn't work but is sublime. There are other traditional dishes like most, ramen, Katsu Don and a wings dish to die for. If you are a drinker there is Asahi on tap. Arigato!

Nothing about this place was that rad. The ambience was pretty cool and chilled but the food was ter-ri-bleeee.. We'd spent about $30 per person which was reasonable with a shared beverage and dessert. The savoury gyozas were fine (nothing fantastic), and the dessert was probably the worst I've had in my life - I had the salty caramel gyoza and it was like it was just a glob of salt in my mouth, I had to spit it out. They tried really hard to jazz the ambience up with the Japanese yelling and stuff when someone orders a round of shots but it was kind of odd/awkward when there were only 2 small tables here on a quiet week day. The waitress just scared me when she started going off her head rambling in her scripted chant when the ambience was not quite ready for it. As expected, the Japanese service is always polite, but they didn't really stand out against other better serviced restaurants in Sydney. The only reason why i'd go back is to try their Beer slurpees which sound fun!
