No Bs reveiw... if you’re planning to visit, try to get there by noon. The line forms fast and gets long, though to their credit, it moves at a steady pace. The space is tight, just three tables for groups and a long bar. I’d recommend sitting at the bar so you can actually watch them make the food right in front of you.
Stick to the gyoza, both the pan-fried and boiled versions are excellent and easily the best part of the meal. However, I’d suggest skipping the tofu. Despite being a common recommendation, I found it bland and lacking any flavor.
The service is efficient but purely transactional. The kitchen staff is incredibly fast, while the owner (only japanese worker) handles the door and the register. Overall, the food is good, but it isn't life changing or worth a massive wait.
Note: This is a cash-only place.
