This was the perfect hotel for our needs and stay- loved the balcony room facing the marina! The complementary breakfast is solid and it was the perfect spot to stay as we had to meet in the lobby quite early for our Major Marine cruise - we didn't have to leave the premise and could enjoy breakfast while we waited to board. It is a bit further from "downtown" but there is a free shuttle during the day. It is otherwise walkable and there are great restaurants and shops within immediate walking distance. Definitely would stay again!

Great location with stunning views! It’s conveniently close to restaurants and nearby attractions. Breakfast was included in our stay and was actually quite good. The rooms were decent — nothing fancy but comfortable enough. The pool is on the smaller side, so it’s just okay for a quick dip.

The hotel options in Seward are limited and the Harbor 360 is the #1 choice for many reasons. First and foremost is the location; it is steps away from the train depot (a way many people travel to Seward) and also all the fishing charters as well as the marine tours (whale watching boats) leave from the dock behind the hotel. Additionally, check in for the marine tours are within the lobby of the hotel.||The rooms are A OK; clean, comfortable and come with blackout curtains. There are 2 sides to the hotel; one with a view of the harbor and one with a view of the street. If you can afford it, pay the extra for a view of the harbor as it's spectacular! ||The staff at the Harbor 360 are professional and very friendly. There is a secure luggage area where they will store your bags while you are out on a fishing charter or a marine tour. Also, Harbor 360 coordinates with the Alaska Railroad so your bags will be taken off the train and brought to the hotel and/or taken from the hotel to the train.||Pro Tip - book early! The Harbor 360 sells out months and months in advance. Cruise ships come in and out of Seward so cruise passengers wanting to stay a day in Seward will fill up the rooms. If you take the Alaska Railroad from Anchorage to Seward (recommended), you will arrive at 11:15am; check in is not until 3pm; however Harbor 360 will allow early check in for a $75 fee. They will also hold your luggage while you are on a marine tour so you can access whatever you need after you get off the boat and before getting on a train or bus back to Anchorage.||The town of Seward had a free shuttle and one of the stops is right across the street from the Harbor 360 which is super convenient.

Hotel 360 sits on the edge of the harbor. It’s out of town about 1/2 mile but that didn’t matter. ||The room is well appointed. The bathroom spotless. There is a couch and nice TV, but the highlight of the room is the nice balcony with 2 chairs overlooking the bay with the soaring mountains in the background. We had a 3rd floor room. Be sure to request one. ||The staff was friendly. The free breakfast nice with plenty of food and an attendant staff to keep things fresh and the tables clean.

The Harbor 360 Hotel has a few things going against it. It’s expensive for rooms that are fairly spartan. During our stay, the hot water was intermittent in our wing, and the free WiFi was extremely slow. But the hotel won us over with its good points: a very good (included) breakfast, a wonderful position on the waterfront next to several good restaurants, and most of all, a strikingly friendly and kind staff. (We particularly appreciated the attention we received from Olivia.) If basic, the facilities were meticulously well-maintained and comfortable. And the Major Marines tours were exceptionally well run. It all seemed as if this was THE top place to stay in Seward.

Right on the water and close to a few restaurants is why we chose this hotel. It wasn't great and it wasn't bad, just underwhelming. The building also serves as the check in point/gift shop for Harbor 360 Tours and that space is right across from the check in for the hotel. Our room faced the mountains and had a small balcony on the third floor. We were right above the parking lot which is right on the street. Noise wasn't an issue for us though. Overall it was pretty basic. Beds and pillows were comfy enough. There wasn't any real storage to speak of. A couple of shelves in a cabinet and the closet. There was a small mini fridge and coffee maker but no safe. The bathroom amenities included the on-the-wall dispenser of shampoo and shower gel. No conditioner or lotion. Smaller size vanity in the bathroom and the on-the-wall hair dryer which would take a while to dry your hair if used. The shower head and water pressure were good. There is one elevator to service the building. On the first floor there is an "all can use" microwave and ice machine as well as a very small indoor pool. I feel as though the hotel has been updated but just seems a tad "cheap". Overall we had a good 2 night stay with the exception of the WiFi which we couldn't connect to while there. I think we would stay there again. It's not walking distance to the "downtown" which is a 10 minute drive away but there are a few restaurants to walk to right by the hotel.

Belated of this hotel. Tourist like us come for experience to Alaska. We booked rooms almost 5 months in advance for May 2025, but still the manager denied our Harbor view suite. We wanted to cancel the room, but the manager said cancelling will be with no refund, for no fault of us. On top of it, there was a false alarm from the kitchen quite early around 4:30 am and our sleep is gone. Further this hotel doesn't get hot water when you need the most. Mysekf and family took bath in cold water. Just imagine Alaska weather in May with cold water bath. Worst experience, I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Google
First of all, yes you are literally in front of the harbor for the boat tour (we stayed 2 nights here to take advantage of this game plan) yes and that's convenient, but so are are pretty much all other lodging/hotels in the area, including their sister property Seward Gateway Hotel... and guess who else comes through the property and the breakfast area? Yep... all of the non-hotel staying guests - the breakfast room is basically a passthrough between one door leading to the marina vs. the check in lobby for the hotel door, where also the desk for all the Major Marine Tours is located, so every person needs to separately check in 1h before their boat tour (plus gift shop) here as well - makes completely no sense as it's just one big chaotic and noisy situation until the tour people finally leave the building.... terrible setup ||The breakfast in itself was pretty bad too, to be perfectly honest so it was whenever included in pretty much every property we stayed at, during 10 nights in Alaska but at least in other places we didn't pay $250 a night... I wish it was cheaper with the option of no breakfast as the quality/options + the chaos just makes you want to leave and not be there at all - I was very excited for this property but it just let down big times, including this part which is usually my fav aspect of traveling - a peaceful breakfast with a view... during 2nd breakfast I decided just to toast the bagels and ate, it with some smoked salmon I have purchased in Seward, back in the room to avoid the another morning tour crowds nonsense again...||The room was OK, big and spacious - nothing to praise or complain about, the view of the back is some mountains and mainly parking lot but a night before we enjoyed sitting there with an open window having a beer and snacks - we were hoping ours will have a balcony but it did not, and sadly when I have asked at the front desk they were completely booked - it was a bummer as the hotel has no really lounge or bar area, so you can only have a drink/beer in your room... ||Lastly, while the Puffin art outside is very pretty and in general the curb appeal is very pleasant... inside the floors, the walls and ceilings - wow it's super noisy, like they didn't exist at all - during the 2nd night I thought someone is remodeling and I bet it was just people moving directly above us - wall to wall is one thing but I have never experienced this much noise just from the people directly above us - at first I have questioned myself that it can't be that, but then the following morning I paid attention as I was walking on the 2nd floor and noticed how much noise the hallway floor is making, how uneven it is etc. and figured out that was just people moving along their room above us and that's how much noise it was making LOL. ..Also the stairs on the sides are great, but FYI there is just 1 elevator for the entire hotel so you better not rush in the morning/check out if you are taking your luggage down/up|||For the record, we have hesitated between staying here vs. their newly built sister property called Seward Gateway Hotel, and after seeing the other place we wished we stayed there so it's not like I am trying to discourage anybody from "the brand" here with my review, and we also had an amazing boat trip with the Major Marine Tours, the 3 businesses share same ownership/umbrella. The other property, naturally looked cleaner and in better shape since constructed over the past couple years, and had a big separate breakfast room - it's priced exactly the same, and they are less than 5 minutes walking distance to the marina and there is even a free shuttle for that if walking the short distance is not an option. ||Where I am not saying to stay at a different place outside of their "brand" I am saying definitely stick to the sister property vs. this one - don't let the beautiful Puffin affect your choice as it did with me :P

Yelp
You know I would say this is between four and five stars but I couldn't really complain about anything here. PROS: gorgeous location, breakfast included was decent (and really nowhere around there was going to have any outstanding breakfast anyway), walkable to everything, nice staff CONS: Laundry service limited bc of broken machines, not a lot of chairs to sit on inside the rooms, expensive Is it fancy? No. Is it rundown? No. It was a solid hotel experience in a lovely area and I couldn't really complain about anything other than the washing machine being broken (1 out of three).

Yelp
Pretty good hotel in the area! Checked in with Kamon and he was super sweet! Very helpful and friendly. He gave us lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat and even let me take 2 chocolate bars from the gift shop because I was celebrating my birthday. We had a 2 queen bed room, which was pretty standard with a gorgeous view of the harbor. The beds were nice and comfy and the bathroom was pretty decent. They cleaned the room everyday upon request. The breakfast is included which is amazing! It was a continental spread, so it was the same everyday but it was good. The parking lot could be a bit nicer in my opinion and have more spots available. They do have luggage carts available to help take luggage to your rooms.

Yelp
It's hard in much of Alaska to separate the generally higher prices from the pricing in the Lower 48 and this hotel suffers for that. This is basically a Holiday Inn Express or Fairfield Inn on a harbor, in a touristy town with amazing views. That all leaves this being way over priced for what you get, but also maybe worth it. Call this a 3.5 Star The Pros: - Super helpful staff (they lent us bear spray for a hike) - Comfortable beds - Pretty clean - Decent water pressure, towels, and soap/shampoo - Amazing views facing the harbor - Breakfast was better than most for this type of hotel - The Major a marine office is in the lobby and the ships leave from directly outside of the hotel - Close to the train station. The Cons: - Thin walls and floors (choose a top floor to avoid sounds from above) - Small, old TV - Feels dated - There really is no where to hang out to look at the mountains or harbor - Expensive for what you get. Overall, this is still one of the better choices in Seward, where everything is expensive. We would probably return.

Super E.

Yelp
Great place right on the water. View of the harbor on one side and the mountains on the other. Mountain side faces the road, FYI. Room was very clean and quiet. Some of the day cruises leave from the dock right at the back of the hotel. Breakfast room overlooking the docks is ok, the selection is limited to cereals, bagels, pastries, and some hot selections kept in a warming tray. Usually eggs of some sort and a meat (bacon or sausage). There was also an auto-pancake maker. Coffee was just ok, nothing special. Quick walk to some gift shops and other restaurants down the road. There are other restaurants a little over a mile away down the same road that are definitely worthwhile to explore. I was truly surprised about the food experience at all of the restaurants that we tried in Seward. Yes, prices are high, but very good food to be had. Try the Creamery or the Flamingo for a nicer place to eat. Or just across the street at the lounge for you other breakfast options and lunches.

Yelp
This review would have been a one star if not for the amazingly friendly gentleman who checked us in (7 Oct, early evening) and the very kind gentleman with the orange bowtie who helped us at checkout (8 Oct, late morning). It's a tourist town and the season was winding down. I reserved a king room with a mountain view vs harbor view. Their king beds are Euro kings size (essentially a queen but longer). Don't get the mountain view, especially if you plan on sleeping past 7:30am. Tour busses start dropping folks from the cruise ships directly outside of your window. No amount of insulation, which this hotel lacks, will prevent you from hearing the hissing of the hydraulics. I can understand wanting to stay here for the convenience if you're going with Major Marine Tours but it just isn't worth staying here if you aren't. God forbid someone with the same color and model car as you parks in the bus lane because reception has no issues cold-calling guests out of a dead sleep to ask if they're the ones parked there. To avoid this, simply take down the plate number at check in instead of waking up a half the hotel asking about a Subaru. Housekeeping was very, very loud and would carry on with 45 minute conversations in the hallway in the morning. This might not have been so bad but I was booked in a room right between the elevator and the vending/laundry room. Hotel guests are not normally the most courteous about their noise levels so you can imagine how little sleep was had. Breakfast was what you would expect: bacon, eggs, assorted cereal, yogurt, bread, and a few premade pastries. Nit-picking now but it is obvious that the shower cap in the bathroom was not replaced after a previous guest had used it as evidence by the hair left in the cap... if that polka dot shower cap was even supposed to come with the room and not simply left behind by a previous guest. Unless you're taking a charter with Major, I wouldn't recommend staying here. Off-season prices are nice but a good night's sleep is infinitely better.

Yelp
We stayed at five hotels during our trip in Alaska and this had the best breakfast out of the five of them. We didn't stay at super nice hotels, but we didn't pick the cheapest hotels either. The hotel was clean and the staff were all really nice. We also did the Major Marine's tour with them and received 20% off the tour price because we were staying with them. The view from the breakfast area was amazing.

Yelp
The marina views are lovely, but I started to feel like seen one marina seen'em all. I've seen marinas all over the world, and each is pretty much the same. Still lovely nonetheless but the hotel room itself just felt a bit off to me. It is Alaska, I keep reminding myself so I should be rating these places on a curve. If in Seward again, I think staying here would be fine but it's really nothing to write home about. We were on a road trip and making our way through different towns so stayed just a night. Breakfast is still being provided, just pre packaged which is great. We took one but I didn't end up eating it. Check in and out was easy breezy. If no one has told you, don't visit AK in October. There is nothing to do. You'll thank me for the advice I do wish someone would have given to me.

Yelp
clean and inviting. the breakfast included was such a blessing. the sausage and eggs was a bit cool but taste was good. I would still definitely recommend staying. the views are incredible!!! the discounts you receive for booking with Major Marine tours are a great savings for both your hotel stay AND the tour cost! recommend doing both!

Yelp
I absolutely love staying here. I've stayed here 3 times now and it's never disappointing - unless you accidentally forget to check the pool cleaning dates! Lol but it's always quality service!

Yelp
Great option for a Seward hotel. Located near the docks and train car shops. Walkable to some stores, gift shops, and whale cruises. Rooms were pretty standard. Clean. TVs were a bit small. Small coffee pot with pods. And limited cleaning services still related to Covid. The lobby area is nice. There's a gift shop that attaches to the hotel where you can purchase various sundries and souvenirs. There is an eating area which has complimentary breakfast. This generally included an egg option, sausage or bacon, pancakes, some bakery items. Can't complain much for a free/included breakfast. Coffee was quite weak however. This is not a place where you order what you want or can customize your eggs. Just buffet style. There was a conference room which could be rented. We used it for an hour and there was no charge. There was also another sitting area with books and a small business center area. They had a pool and small hot tub which the kids loved. This got busy in the evenings. No lifeguard on duty, so be aware, but they did have multiple life preservers and Floaties for borrowing All the staff we interacted with were friendly. Plenty of parking. Given the already limited options for hotels in Seward, I think this is a good option. And take a picture with the huge puffin on the side of the building!

Yelp
We stayed here overnight before we got on our cruise. The room was great with beautiful views of the harbor and mountains. The people that work here are so friendly, the front desk girls were so sweet, helpful while very professional. Loved the little town around the hotel. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Tara H.

Yelp
What a great hotel. The front desk was very friendly and informative upon check in. They quickly answered questions and all our requests. We had a nice view of the harbor and the bathroom was big. It had a nice, long vanity which was great for our family of 4 to all put their things in there. We usually have to take our toiletries in and out with us. The breakfast was satisfying and the location is great.

Yelp
First time staying here. Mid March. Still off season. Did a package with hotel, major marine 4 hour tour, and sea life center. Fantastic deal this time of year. Hotel is adequate. Rooms are a bit outdated. Bathrooms are super basic. Rate includes breakfast. The hotel sits on the marina and lends itself to great views. Especially at sunset. There's an indoor pool and hot tub but I'm an adult traveling alone and there were a ton of screaming kids so I did not take advantage. Girl at check in was super nice as was the Major Marine host. Very convenient as the boarding is at the hotel.

Yelp
From start to finish we were highly satisfied. We booked with the marine tour for a bundled price. We were lucky enough to be able to check-in prior to our departure. We got the Seahawks game on so we could catch up on football while out of the area. The gym facility it allows access to is a little bit of a drive away but it is worth it. The pool and hot tub were also fun for the 20 minutes we were in. The breakfast spread it pretty good. Especially with the limited options around this time of year. We recommend coming in because even the staff from start to finish was awesome.

Yelp
We had a great two-night experience at Harbor 360 Hotel. This is right on the edge of town, very easy to access for those who are driving (and easy to get out to nearby trails/excursions) and it's also literally steps away from the marina. It is within a short walking distance to many restaurants, tour company offices and shops. I don't think there is a better location for people staying in a hotel. (more about proximity to "downtown" Seward below). Our room was on the third floor, facing the mountains. I imagine a harbor view is pricier but we came to Alaska to see mountains, so no complaints here! We were directly next to the elevator but heard no commotion from it. The room was large and clean with both a king size bed and a pullout sofa. The shower had a shampoo and body wash dispenser (BYOC- bring your own conditioner!). The continental breakfast was slightly above average - pancakes, cereal, and the usual suspects all included. The seating area is one of the best views in Seward - a great view of the marina! The lobby also contains a gift shop and a tour company office so it can get busy but it was not overwhelming. We came in mid-July - what we are told is one of the busiest times and parking was not an issue. For a small town, Seward is tough on parking! We were told if we could not find a spot, we could park across the street and be reimbursed which was a nice offer that we never had to use. The staff we came in contact with were incredibly friendly and appeared happy to be doing their jobs. The "downtown" area of Seward is about a mile away - a very quick drive and a not too hard walk. I was surprised the area where the hotel in is not the "downtown" since there is much more to do in this part than on that side of town.

Yelp
Had some family in town at the end of March and decided to spend a day in Seward to show them the gorgeous Resurrection bay. We got a killer deal on the hotel by booking it in conjunction with tickets for Major Marine's gray whale watching tour. Seriously the joint packages Major Marine & Harbor 360 offer are pretty dang good deals. Upon arriving at Harbor 360, the check in at the front desk was seamless, and staff was very friendly and welcoming. This hotel has a great location right on the harbor with beautiful views if you spring for the harborview room. We had a standard room, but also had a nice view of the mountains which was unexpected. If you are cruising with Major Marine the check in desk, and boarding area is conveniently located right in the lobby. It's a newer hotel, and the decor is all updated and modern. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. They room was fairly large with a nice sized bathroom. The beds were comfortable, and had cozy down linens. The hotel also has some great eco friendly practices, which is always great to see. There is also an indoor pool & hot tub available that has beautiful views of the harbor, which was an unexpected perk. The complimentary breakfast buffet was very good, and went beyond the standard bagels and pastries. I never have high expectations for a breakfast buffet, but actually was able to get a pretty decent meal out of their spread. They have their tea and coffee station stocked throughout the day, and also a water bottle filling station in the lobby. We definitely enjoyed our stay here, and if we decided to not camp the next time we are back in Seward we will totally be staying at this hotel again!

Yelp
You can't beat the views at this hotel! Truly wonderful, the picture is the view from our harbor balcony view room. Very comfortable hotel, very clean, the morning breakfast is really nice and the gift shop is great and has lots of cool things including local cookbooks. All the staff we interacted with were super friendly and hospitable. Definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Seward.

Carmen D.

Yelp
This hotel is very conveniently located, especially if you are taking any tours out of the harbor. You only need to walk out of the back door to catch your boat. Only a short driving distance or even within walking distance of a lot of area shopping and restaurants. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were comfortable and quiet. The parking lot fills up quickly, but we always were able to find a spot.

Yelp
Me and my son had an amazing time there. He had a blast in the swimming pool. Service was great

Yelp
My family did the 6 hour tour & it was exactly as the described. We saw glaciers, waterfalls, sea lions, bald eagles, and of course gorgeous scenery. The boat was very nice, it looks brand new with comfortable seating inside and out. A delicious lunch was provided of your choice of a deli turkey or roast beef sandwich with cheese on a some kind of yummy roll, along with chips and drinks. The crew was all amazing & very caring. I personally get very motion sick but thought I might be ok with my patches, arm bands and Bonine. However there were rough seas the day of our tour, which they fully warned us about. My group still wanted to go, so I went.....big mistake. About midway I was hurling over the back of the ship. Even with a large group on board to take care of, the crew was constantly checking on me, asking if I needed anything & giving me tips of thing that would help. I personally will not be returning but not due to anything negative about this company. If you are wanting to see Seward, Alaskan wildlife by boat, Harbor 360 is top notch & the only way to go.

Yelp
Boom, crash, scuffle, scream. Repeat... for 2 hours. Either the people above us were having a very adventurous time, there was a hippo race, or construction was going in. Needless to say, if there was a farting mouse upstairs, you'd hear it and the walls will shake. I couldn't take it anymore and complained about it and by the time I got back, all the noise was gone. It came back briefly in the morning but we left shorthly after they started their ruckus for our whale watching tour. The rooms are HUGE! Aside from our noisy upstairs neighbors (we were on the 2nd floor) the staff was courteous, friendly, and accommodating to our large group of 14! I didn't take any stars off for the noise but be aware that the floors and walls are pretty thin. If you're sensitive to noise and people walking around, go for the 3rd floor. What's nice about the room we stayed in was that we got a nice harbor view. What made it even better was the fact that we had a daily visitor! There's a nice sea otter that comes around in the morning, afternoon, and evening and you can see it right from the comfort of your room. Walk down stairs through the eating area and you're right on the dock, feet away from the cuteness. Breakfast was not bad here, the standard fair. Breads, muffins, cereals, pancakes and sausage patties. The location is also very good. It's centrally located on the street so it's walking distance to a bunch of restaurants. Go in the summer and be prepared to be gouged. It is what it is. Lots of A couple of pokestops, gyms and critters to catch if you're into that sort of thing... Gotta let the folks with kiddies know the important stuff :D The pool is indoors but didn't partake. It was really warm!

Yelp
18 October, 2019 Thanks for being open. Large spacious rooms. Nice balcony view of the harbor. The additional $50 for the view was worth it The room was clean and plenty of hot water for a showers. Breakfast in the morning was nice, with a view of the harbor. The breakfast was complimentary but the pancake machine was out of order. $150 a night.

Yelp
Great place to return to after a day in nature, great place to wake up, just am all around great place! The rooms are very clean and put together. The staff is knowledgeable friendly and they address you first! If you're an early riser, check on w Hoku at the front desk. He'll lead you to the right cup of coffee for you! The breakfast has something for everyone. There's hot tea , coffee and cocoa 24/7. I can't say enough about this hotel.

We had a lovely time at Harbor 360 over Memorial Day weekend! It's during Covid-19 but the breakfast was still nice, the hotel clean and the people very friendly!!

Yelp
I have always tended to stay at this property back when it was the Holiday Inn Express, but recently was my first time staying here since they were acquired by Major Marine Tours and became the Harbor 360 Hotel. With the recent gorgeous weather, I decided to take a spur of the moment trip down to Seward and go on the Major Marine grey whale watch tour. And decided to splurge and stay overnight to enjoy the views and weather. I was hoping to stay in one of the King harbor view rooms with balcony, which is often the norm for me. But saw during the reservation process they were all listed as "sold out". Which I later learned was because they are being remodeled and won't be completed until the beginning of May. I ended up booking a double queen harbor view room which was $119.00 plus tax. Check in for the gray whale watch cruise was at the Major Marine office at the front of the hotel so it was quite convenient for me to park in, check in for the cruise and then load at the back ramp. I had a bit of extra time so found myself catching up on email while sitting in the area they serve breakfast. All reservations come with free breakfast, which I didn't partake in the following morning. During my planning process I contacted the hotel explaining I was gluten / soy free and did they have microwaves in their rooms? The front desk was quick to respond to my email and it was during this time I was advised that all rooms had mini fridges but only the king rooms had microwaves. The king rooms, which of course were not available. So I was going to have to get creative with my food planning. I am thankful for the mini fridges though as it came in quite handy that evening. After the grey whale watch cruise ended I returned to the hotel lobby a little after five to find a very long line at the front desk. Two employees were assisting people with check in. One looked quite jovial and the other, not so much. I'm actually glad I ended up being assisted by the jovial one. When he saw my camera gear he assumed I was the photographer checking in for the weekend wedding. Now I know why the line was so long. Despite the long lines the check in went quite quickly. I was given a third floor room and made my way too it after having to wait awhile on the elevator (lot of people at the hotel). After checking out the room, I found it to be clean and quickly went downstairs to pick up the remainder of my items. I noted the parking lot was starting to get full so just decided to take it easy for the remainder of the night and have my meal I had brought in my room. Despite being nearly sold out that evening, I found the room to be quiet and didn't hear any noise from the hallway from people coming and going. I did however hear some of the construction noise from the remodeling, but that ended shortly before 7:00 p.m. Which was acceptable. The bed was comfortable and following a decent nights sleep I checked out early the next morning for an early start to head back to Anchorage. All in all it was a solid stay. A few things to note. Part of the remodeling includes redoing the railings that are on the room balconies. Which I am very supportive of. I always thought the wrought iron railings on the Holiday Inn Express rooms seemed rickety. Additionally the amenities. Wireless access is password secured and you are given the password and account login at check in. My room had a coffee maker with various coffees in the room and noted the shampoo / conditioner was the type where the dispenser is attached to the wall in the shower. A small bar of soap was sitting next to the sink. Beyond that amenities were rather scarce. I would like to see the addition of tea as not everyone is a coffee drinker. Additionally pre-payment is required for all Harbor 360 rooms, even in the off season.

Yelp
The service that I really appreciated is that they transport my luggage to my cruise when I was taking the Kenai Fjords day cruise. This allows me to walk to my day cruise without juggling my luggage. Would also recommend to splurge a little for the harbor view - it was amazing (see photo). Other things I like about the hotel - the wifi (only decent one in Alaska hotels throughout my stay), location (walking distance to the bus drop-off and also cruise terminal), and the attentive services. They also run a special with the local cruise if you booked the package early enough. Supposedly, they have a shuttle between the bus drop-off and the hotel - but there was a no-show. They claimed the bus arrived early.

Yelp
Great small hotel. Rooms were very clean, nice view of the harbor, nice pool/hot tub, good location, and very good breakfast. I love they are trying to reduce single use plastic waste. Much of Seward was shut down because it was mid-Oct, but the hotel made it a very comfortable stay.

Yelp
Harbor 360 was clean and pleasant. This new hotel went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The management and staff were so knowledgeable about the area and things to do and experience in the area. I could see people wanting to stay here for longer periods of time. We will be back for sure! Thank you!

Yelp
We went to the hotel the night before our wildlife cruise to inquire about parking for the next day. The man working the front desk told us we could park in the hotel lot. We decided to drive rather than taking the free shuttle from our hotel. Upon arriving we were told we had to pay to park next door. I explained everything to the girl working the desk and she just said sorry he told you wrong. What a joke, it cost us extra money and she had a parking pass sitting right in front of her. Get with it staff. Know your policies and honor what you tell people. Steer clear of staying at this place, I would hate to see what other policies they come up with overnight.

Yelp
A nice clean no frills place to stay. We booked this for the night before our cruise. I believe they called it a King balcony room. Great view of the harbor from the balcony but the room was a little worn and dated. For $375 I thought it would be a little nicer, but it is the best game in town and adjacent to all of the restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
The best hotel to stay in if cruising out of Seward or going on the Alaska Rail. It is literally across the street from the train depot and 10-15 minute walk to the ship . Also did the Orca quest which was amazing and they have several excursions leaving from this hotel. All staff were very nice and courteous and rooms were clean. We left our bags with Alaska Rail and they brought them to hotel for us and then for the ship, we left bags with hotel and they delivered to the ship for us. Highly, highly recommend!

Yelp
Bring earplugs- there is literally no soundproofing here. Comfortable beds if you can get sleep with all the noise from inconsiderate guests (one guy was so loud on his speaker phone from from 4:00am till 5:00am-front desk was busy until I finally got hold of someone after he'd been at it for 45 minutes). No napping either as they are under construction. Would love to give more stars as the front desk staff and breakfast host are truly nice.

Yelp
Heartily recommended. Great staff. Clean rooms. Location can't be beat right on the harbor. Pay a little extra for a harbor view room on a an upper floor. If they are all booked, then request an upper floor on the mountain side because they have balconies. Ground floor is where you end up if you have pets but it's noisy and has the least view. The whole place is great though. During tourist season you can depart from tours directly from here. They actually have a small pool here, which is rare in Alaska, and it overlooks the harbor, which is a nice touch. The location is a teeny bit removed from down town, so lazy Americans might want to bring a bike or car LOL. Seward is a very small town so if you don't mind walking in the misty rain, it won't take you more than 20 minutes or so to reach downtown where the aquarium is from the hotel. But there are several restaurants and stores immediately adjacent to the hotel as well. You really can't go wrong with the Harbor 360.

Yelp
If you're looking for a place to stay in Seward, the Harbor 360 Hotel is the place. Not only it is a great hotel, but it is also environmentally friendly! This is a great place with a harbor view and great breakfast! Stay here.

Yelp
If you are doing the major marine tour and get suckered into this"deal" it is not the cheapest and the deal is not a bargain. We ended up paying $700. for two adults and a small child for one night with the 6 hr tour, which would of been like $500. with another cheaper hotel. So I do not see the deal unless you need a pool and bfast IN your hotel. We would of rather saved the $200. BUT the MAIN issue for me is once we realized how much it cost they would not let us cancel the reservation for the hotel room with a refund! It had only been made 5 hrs prior. This is illegal to do in Alaska but they sneak around this law by booking the room with the whale tour. Just be warned you can not cancel once booked. I think its shitty.

Yelp
The whole of Seward is a tourist mecca in summer and this hotel seemed to be a hub of cruising activity. However as non cruisers who had organised their own tour we felt a bit left out. The breakfast area was a scrum, but the staff tried their best to keep things filled up and tidy, but some clients plainly are less than considerate which probably reflects their lives at home. We slept OK but were very glad we had an end of corridor high floor room as again some clients could not respect others and talked long and loud in the corridors at night.

Yelp
Nice place! Seems recently renovated or upgraded, it's clean, the beds are comfy, staff super nice. One thing though...bring ear plugs. I think the walls are super thin because I could hear the couple next door enjoying themselves and could hear every single time he hit her spot. As soon as they were done the itis hit and he's snoring sooooo loud. I can't deal. I'd do anything for ear plugs right now.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel but don't stay on the first floor! I was unlucky to be in Room 103 located next to the rear exit door and below a large family staying above me. I could hear everything they did and even their conversations. When I checked in they offered me the first floor room as it was ready while my room wasn't. I highly regret taking it as the noise from the slamming exit door and the family above ruined my stay. I was up at 6 am due to noise above me. For a hotel this expensive, you would think the sound barrier from rooms above would be better. I could hear their conversations, footsteps and moving hangers in the closet. Not pleasant.

Yelp
I love this hotel. The entire staff is amazing: Theresa keeps the breakfast area clean and the food hot and fresh; Lisa is in charge of Housekeeping - I've never had a dirty room, ever! Sara makes the front desk so pleasant and efficient you'd think that job was easy (we know it's not). Kyle is the new manager and definitely makes guests feel welcome and valued - they are such a winning team! I visit at least once every Spring and Autumn in order to avoid tourists and pay a reduced room rate but still enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the area and partake of the delicious restaurants in town - Zudy's, Chinooks, Woody's Thai, and Ray's Waterfront are all winners. It doesn't hurt that The Bake Shop in Girdwood and Summit Lake Lodge are along the way. But back to the Harbor 360 - the views cannot be beat anywhere in the State, especially if you pay the extra for a Harbor View with Balcony - trust me, it's so worth it.

Yelp
Although the hotel looks nice, beware of the hidden fees & overcharges this hotel will charge you at checkout.!! Harbor 360 ended up charging me $450 for a two night stay (quoted at $210 total). When I asked for explanations of the charges, the breakdown was full of elementary math errors and when I tried to explain the errors, they continued to push back until they finally took the time to look at the it & then acknowledged some (but not all) of their math mistakes. After much efforts & angry words, I was able to recovered some of the money and am still trying to recover the rest (probably going to have to go to small claims court), but what they are doing is wrong & unethical). Save yourself the headache AND STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!! Note, the Hotel ownership changed in 2015, so comments prior to that are directed towards different owner.

Yelp
Had a very nice stay here. Hotel room is clean and the beds were very comfortable. Great water pressure, filling breakfast, nice hot tube and pool, great views of the harbor. Only has one very slow elevator though. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Seward.

Yelp
This hotel is an overpriced motel 6! Look around before you book a hotel in Seward! There ARE other options. Shower had terrible pressure, room marginal and customer service was pathetic. We booked over 9 months ahead of our stay and assumed all rooms would have a balcony! When we asked about it, the front desk employee said, "maybe you booked through our reservation service..., no balcony for all rooms." The room was nearly $400 per night .... And located Right by back exit!

Yelp
Great place to stay in Seward - close to the glacier tours too. We've stayed in other places in the area and the Harbor 360 Hotel tops the others. We will return whenever in the area. Clean, efficient rooms and nice staff.

Yelp
Newly renovated and very nice (particularly for AK!) Our harbor view King room with balcony was worth extra expense. Roomy and breathtaking! Nice big refrigerator. Basic amenities but good wifi. Breakfast was alright. Would have liked more fresh fruit. Staff was good. Only complaint is that the balconies were being painted so our window and door were covered when we checked in. It was a very upsetting experience walking into our room with a view of plastic. The painters finished up 2 hours later, but we should have been warned upon check in. Recommend the top floor. The hotel is not very sound proof and the family above us was very noisy. Would definitely recommend for the awesome view, dockside location and convenient Major Marine tours.

Yelp
Location and views were good. Staff was nice as well. Aside from that, the hotel seemed cheaply updated. Our room smelled like new carpet, the refrigerator sounded like it was preparing for take off or landing, the walls were VERY thin, the prior guest left something in the room not found by house keeping, the elevator was super slow, the shower pressure felt like I was showering with a garden hose that had a kink in it, and their wifi was also very slow. If I return to Seward, I will likely avoid staying here again.

Yelp
We had some issues, but they took care of them, Thank you Harbor Hotel 360
