"Opened in early 2018, Harbor Club is a modern resort housed on Rodney Bay Marina on St. Lucia’s northwest coast. The overall feel is crisp and aquatic, with the bright-white building resembling a cruise ship on the harbor. Given the hotel’s marina setting, there is no direct beach access, but there is a sparking complex of swimming pools with mountain and water views. The hotel also provides complimentary shuttle service via a fast boat to the beach on Pigeon Island Nature Preserve, as well as towels and chairs for a day on the sand. Guest rooms are like spacious ship cabins, decorated in cool shades of blue with views of the marina or mountains. Eight swim-up rooms on the ground floor even feature private patios directly over the swimming pool area. The hotel’s half-dozen restaurants include Caribbean-Asian fusion spot 14North on the top floor, a modern sushi bar, and farm-to-table eatery Julia’s,and more options are available a short walk from the property. A full-service spa and fitness center, nightly live entertainment, and sunset cruises round out the amenities."

My husband and I spent a week at Harbour club December 2025. Friends and family joined us at the end of the week and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. It is clean and comfortable. The staff is absolutely outstanding. They all go out of their way to make things great. Tarik and Shane at reception were amazing. Robyn, Kelvin and Janey at the restaurants and happy hour were always great to chat to and made every meal enjoyable. Brandon was a great resource for our fishing adventure. Thank you to all staff for making our stay a wonderful experience.

Service was very good. Front desk, concierge, pool attendant, bar tenders were all excellent. Kelvin stood out as exceptional! He made our stay extra special. Nice clean hotel, good food and drinks. Liked the central location. Very easy to get to excursions, beaches, and restaurants.

The drinks at Harbor Club were phenomenal — truly some of the best cocktails I’ve had. Whoever is behind the bar clearly knows how to make a great drink. That said, the customer service was very disappointing. The bartender, Gavyi, lacked basic hospitality skills. His demeanor felt dismissive and unwelcoming, which took away from what could have been a great experience. Good drinks alone don’t make up for poor service, especially in a setting that should prioritize guest experience. It’s unfortunate because with better customer service, this place could be excellent. The talent is there — the professionalism needs work.

I wish I had listened to the reviews. The hotel itself is very clean, the cleaning staff does a phenomenal job but there are quite a few things that negatively impact your time and stay here. Unfortunately the rooms are not well insulated and you can hear banging, noise, and chairs scraing on the floors at all hours. On the weekends they play music very loud at the pool. I know I sound like a Karen but it's not the calm, relaxing music you would want at your beach getaway. It is reggae hour at all hours. If that's your thing, you'll love it. The chairs would be an easy fix with some felt pads. The food is decent, especially the sushi and Julia's. The drinks are definitely cut and watered down. The location is good because the stores at the marina next door are convenient and provide additional food and bev options. It's also close to other resorts and excursions. It is a bit sad to see how much garbage is there and you cannot walk anywhere from the hotel besides the marina. All of those negatives can be overlooked for the fact that you're on vacation and can get what you need somewhere else. However, I will say that the staff is incredibly rude. I have never ever EVER been treated so poorly at a hotel, destination, New York City, the DMV, ANYWHERE. It was genuinely uncomfortable to ask for anything or order food/drink. When you walked up to a counter, they would literally ignore you for minutes on end until you said something or they finished the task they were doing. If you ordered a drink it was like you spit in thier face. No response, just dirty looks and your order an hour later, if at all. No one smiled or greeted you. It was like they didn't want us there at all, which is confusing to me because people RAVE about St Lucia and their entire economy is tourism. It was such a damper on our whole trip because we were just dreading being at the hotel we paid to stay at. It was the only real vacation we went on all year and was so disappointing. If I could do it all over again, I would pay double just to stay somewhere else and make our trip enjoyable. It's unfortunate. Shoutout to McGarvey, the tall man and woman at the front desk for night shift, and the chef and waitress at the sushi place outside. Those were the only pleasant people. Everyone else deserves a timeout for their bad attitudes.

Just had a wonderful stay here at the Harbor Club St Lucia. Everything was handled with great hospitality from the moment I was picked up from the airport to departing the hotel. They have 4 restaurants on site. We only ate at three of them but the food was good. Julia’s was my favorite. The hotel is very close to restaurants in Rodney Bay if you exit the hotel to the left it is a very short walk to shops, restaurants, markets etc. There are also other restaurants and shops to the right exit of the hotel but you will need to have transportation. I wouldn’t advise walking that way especially at night. If you happen to be visiting on a Friday you have to go to the street party. It’s only a 5-6 min drive from the hotel. It was a lot of fun and there was plenty of food, drinks and all different kinds of music being played everywhere. I really appreciate the safety measure they have in place there. You have to have a key to event enter the hall leading to the rooms. The hotel lobby and other areas were always spotless I utilized the gym during my stay. I was told by other gym patrons that it was the best on the island. There was plenty of equipment to use I enjoyed for sure. The rooms were nice and spacious we had a balcony overlooking the bay which was really nice. The only thing I would say is that the soundproofing could be better you could hear any conversation being had from the halls. Fortunately for me it wasn’t too disturbing but something I noticed. The hospitality and service was top of the line. Brandon, Shamani, Chris, Shane, Tonya, Aliyel were amazing and always displayed the highest quality of service. I do want to recognize Julius he was out transportation from the airport and our tour guide. He was a pleasure to be around. His knowledge of the island, his hospitality, just his energy is general was awesome. I recommend to everyone visiting to ask for him. Overall it was great stay and I will definitely be back to this location.

After sailing the Atlantic in a yacht checking into the Harbor Club at Rodney Bay Marina was a blessed relief! The room was bright, comfortable and clean but best of all, for someone who spent a month at sea, the floor wasn’t moving and it had air conditioning. The pool was refreshingly cool. The spa was good and for a hotel the restaurant food was surprisingly good. Kelvin in the restaurant was particularly welcoming.

It's a nice place, but not impressive upon entry. Certainly not five stars so set your expectations. Desk staff kind and competent. We had to wait a little while for our room. Rooms are clean. Service is where things seem to lack. Lack of an over-friendly Spirit, almost more of an indifferent mindset. Breakfast. We were greeted by the hostess. Genevieve or something like that, but she didn't make eye contact, was not friendly and it seemed almost like we were bothering her. I saw her treat other people the same way. I had to wait for hot water and cups for tea and when I accidentally poured coffee in my tea cup I was told by Daniel to read the signs that showed the difference between water and tea carafs.. When just a few minutes before there was neither and we had to determine which loan carafe had coffee or water by unscrewing it.

We stayed at the Harbour Club Hotel in Rodney Bay, St Lucia over Christmas and New Year and overall we had a pleasant stay, though there are some clear areas for improvement. The positives: Most of the hotel team were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. The location is excellent, with several beaches within easy reach and Rodney Bay Marina close by. Breakfast generally good , particularly the chef at the egg station who was absolutely top notch and consistently cheerful. Fantastic swimming pools , although the water would be perfect being a few degrees warmer ! The view .. The not so good: The concierge service was disappointing. On our first day I asked for help sourcing a hire car; one phone call was made and I was told that because it was Christmas, everything was booked. No alternative suggestions or numbers were offered. I ended up finding my own company and sourcing a car without issue. The corridor on the 3rd floor had a noticeable musty/mouldy smell. This seems to be mentioned in numerous previous reviews, with the hotel often responding that it’s being addressed, but unfortunately it’s clearly still an issue. The rooms themselves are a little tired and would benefit from light refurbishment. The bathrooms in particular showed signs of wear, which isn’t what you’d expect at this price point. Finally, a personal frustration was the reserving of sunbeds. Some were claimed as early as 7:30am and not used until much later. Pool staff really should be removing towels from unattended loungers . We’re all paying guests and it would make things fairer for everyone. The " private cabana" area should be open to all at all times . It was under used over our stay and was wasted space not being open to everyone when sunbeds were being reserved at other pools, especially when we and other families couldn't find sun loungers to use ! Overall: The Harbour Club has a great location and some excellent staff, but issues with maintenance, room condition and service let it down. With better attention to these areas, it could be a much stronger hotel.
