Awesome, I loved it. The food was excellent, the service was great and we really enjoyed our time there. Everyone that comes to this area should try it. Almost everything is fresh when ordered and wow so delicious. It is one of the few places I know of in the philippines that has king crap and lobster. The food is awesome. Also, the beer is cold and fresh.

Had our Valentine’s Day dinner date at this restaurant. Even at peak hours, their queuing system is very fast, efficient and well-organized. There were chairs in the waiting area and the guests were seated promptly as soon as a vacant table becomes available. The food was surprisingly good and well worth the price. We ordered sinigang, adobong baby pusit, baked scallops and sashimi special. All were served promptly, piping hot (except for the sashimi of course), and tasted superb. House Specialty: The adobong pusit rivals the taste of my favorite dampa macapagal restos.. the mixture of tangy, sweet and salty that simply made my taste buds burst with pleasure. The squid was cooked to perfection, with a texture that is soft and not chewy. I just wish they had bigger portions of this cause it was sooo bitin! They food was pricey but worth it.. they used mozzarella cheese for their baked scallops!! And the new discovery for me was the Dulce De Leche cake that was just off the charts!! Wil definitely come back just for these dishes alone!! I was still at the restaurant but I was already looking at my calendar to check when I can come back again. Of course, the ambiance made everything more special. The cool night air with the harbor view.. and it’s only walking distance from Hotel H2O and Manila Ocean Park! High chairs available. Service is the best!! Waiters were very responsive and prompt, can interpret discreet eye contact and seemed friendly and courteous. Overall, in this restaurant, you get what you pay for. For improvement: I wish they have portable terminals for card holders to transact at the table.

We were staying at hotel h2o and decided to walk going to harbor view restaurant to try it out. Upon entering the gated vicinity of the restaurant you will smell the stinky environment surrounding the resto. I just hope they do something about it. Some of the food we ordered are ok like the nilasing na hipon. but what disappoints me was the bulalo, tastes so bland and its expensive for its quality and serving. Quite different from the other bulalo we are used to eating. It has ginger and the soup was not clear. Ambiance overlooking the harbor is good. Overall, not impressed at all. It was good we tried but I don’t think we are going back.

Delicious food and excellent service. The view was beautiful and paired well with the food. I learned a lot about Filipino food after eating here. The staff did a great job, thanks! I left the restaurant and forgot my pack at the table. Staff rushed out and brought my bag. Thanks for saving me, folks!

Would NOT RECOMMEND. The moment we stepped into Harbor View Restaurant, the service was already disappointing. NO ONE assisted us with seating, and we had to figure it out ourselves. We WAITED HOURS for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, the SERVINGS WERE SMALL, and the FLAVORS were bland. For the PRICE, it was absolutely NOT WORTH IT. To make matters worse, the waitstaff PRIORITIZED customers who ARRIVED AFTER US, serving them FIRST. I even had to go to the cashier MYSELF just to settle the bill because no one was attentive enough to assist. Overall, a POOR EXPERIENCE.

There is nothing fancy about Harbor View beyond the food and view. Open air. Dining on an old pier. But they have the food and one of the best sunset views in Manila as you dine over water and watch the city light up for the night. Spendy seafood. Fresh and quality. You will pay more but it is worth it.

It was raining on a Christmas Day (Dec 25, 2024) .. Mom invited me over to have LUNCH here since Cafe Ilang Ilang is jampacked as she forgot to make a reservation .. So we ended up here ! The CRISPY PATA is expensive for It's SMALL SIZE as we always order It whenever we Dine out in other restaurants! CRISPY PATA 7/10 The SHRIMP that was boiled. I thought It's a BUTTERED GARLIC but surprise ! It's NOT ! Also expensive for that portion. SHRIMP 7/10 The KARE KARE is the only food I love here. It's tasty with generous amount of meat! Just ask for another round of BAGOONG If it's not enough as It's FREE! KARE KARE 9/10 The PANCIT also is tasty. Very PINOY! PANCIT 8/10 For the LIEMPO, CHICKEN, PAKBET & Others.. I cannot RATE 'em since I did not ate them and my cousins did .. SERVERS are 10/10! They are MEN and very ATTENTIVE! About the PLACE, I'm not an OUTDOOR or AL FRESCO person. Won't recommend this on a HOT SUMMER WEATHER! 'Tho they have a lot of Electric fans, AC is still better! I'm not sure If they have an Indoor AC since I was not able to roam around on a RAINY DAY! Maybe I will come back here, only If my mom will invite me again.. This place is hellah expensive for the location & Menu's. With the Menu's Price Range?! Will recommend DENCIO's, MESA or GERRY's GRiLL than here!

I came for the view of the Manila skyline but the food and service were good also 🙂 Heads up: there is some donkey and carriage guy out front who trails you begging to take you somewhere. Do what you want but I'd avoid.

Yelp
Nostalgia visit. Came a bit late that at past 7pm,steamed suahe was gone so we feasted on nilasing na hipon and calamari over a bottle of beers. Got some sashimi too. Last visit was in 2018 so it was nice to be able to drop by again

Yelp
We came for a late lunch, and left feeling satisfied. Like others have said, the seating is outside on the pier, which can be a little warm later in the day. Our ice melted quickly in our drinks. All in all, the portions are decent. Our part of two did leave with some left overs. Highlights: The Adobong Kangkong was cut into manageable pieces and was mixed into a delicious sauce. Lowlights: The pancit canton was made with ramen noodles. It was good, but it couldn't really be called pancit canton with the wrong noodles. Mixed bag: The Caldereta was sweet which my husband loved and I didn't, and our halo halo didn't have enough ice in them, even though they were tasty. I'm giving it a four nonetheless because I enjoyed the little Sheldon like seabird that kept us company. He wouldn't allow anyone on his log, chasing away a rude sparrow that dared to try to sit there. Plus, the food was good, even if some of the ingredients were incorrect.

Yelp
This place opens at 11 in the morning. It's next to the Ocean Park, It has a nice view of Manila bay and close to Luneta Park. They offer Filipino food especially seafood. A lot of people will say that it's pricey but they need to understand that the location of the restaurant plus labor is expensive so I understand why the price is the way it is. Also the portion size is good for two people. They don't have their own WiFi but there is a public WiFi that you can use to take pictures for Instagram. They also accept Credit and Debit Card. I'm giving it a 4 star review because there is still room for improvements. - Find a way to open earlier than 11 am. - Have your own WiFi exclusive for guest. - Work on presentation, because millennials like me like to post pictures on Instagram. - Few improvements with the servers and the service. - Improvements with online orders and delivery. Overall I will recommend this place for locals, foreigners and balikbayans.

Yelp
Slightly pricey but the view is beautiful. I'm so glad Roxas boulevard was cleaned up, I used to ride a ferry here when I was younger. Food was good but wet also knew what to order.

Yelp
Good please for seafood. It's not trendy at all and have a good service. Crabs and shrimps are fresh and here they cook it in so many ways!

Yelp
Quick facts - Don't think they accept cards. - You have to flag down wait staff like most places. - Good pictures - Offers non traditional Philippine food (grilled chez, fried chicken, etc), very accommodating of English speakers. ***they allow smoking in the dining area.*** Enjoyed this place a lot. It is literally over the harbor. The majority of the seating is on a pier reaching out over the water. This can give the place a bit of that unpleasant ocean smell, but you get used to it after a while and we didn't realize it within 20 minutes. There is literally a ton to choose from, which was the one time I felt bad about not knowing the language bc I could tell what I was missing out on.

Yelp
Food was amazing! We ordered a lot of shrimp dishes and my allergies didn't react, meaning it's fresh (that's just my theory, hehe). Place is very clean and service was exceptional. Price is very reasonable too.

Yelp
This place is a lousy value for what you pay. It's an open-air restaurant on and over the water. The decor and ambience is nothing special. The service is so-so. I ordered the wok-fried lapu-lapu with chili sauce. The flavor was okay but out of a 500 gram fish, I got about 100 grams of meat and I had to work hard to get that much off this poor little fish's frame. I had a side of steamed broccoli with garlic. It was served swimming in a brown sauce and it was just too salty to eat. For all of this, I paid PhP 1,600. My curiosity has been satisfied and I won't be returning to this place.

Yelp
We stumbled in to this place looking for another restaurant. The food was tasty. Unfortunately, the service was lackluster. The ambiance is nice and the open air breeze was nice. If you are not in a hurry, try this place out.

Yelp
A go to for Filipino food. Nice location on the water. Wide selection of food, affordable, quick service.
