We recently had a corporate dinner in one of their private room. The room itself was beautiful, equipped with its own bar, and completely private. I loved the fact the decoration was real flowers. The staff was great, friendly and so ready to help. The food was delicious, we had a set menu but the options were more than enough. Overall a great experience!

An upscale restaurant where the high cost reflects the high quality ingredients. The Korean short ribs which was highly recommended, did not disappoint and were fall off the bone delicious. The scallops beautifully seared. The wedge salad was refreshing, but suggest getting the dressing on the side. The filet was cooked perfectly (the pic says it all) Ordering 2 sides were plentiful for me and my husband. I recommend the truffle fries and the lobster mash. We were so full, we skipped dessert, but drank instead. The wine list is literally a novel. We dined inside the restaurant, although the heated patio was beautifully set up. We were seated in smaller room beside a window that created an intimate ambiance. Unfortunately our server lacked enthusiasm compared to those in the next room. Overall a fantastic experience and definitely will return.

Marvelous! Top-notch quality from top to bottom! It defines the standard of a fine dinning/steak house. I went there to celebrate my gf’s birthday. We loved the atmosphere there. Music wasn't too loud like some others. Every one of their staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent service all around! We ordered oysters, their featured fish and the NY Strip steak. The seafood was as fresh as you can get and the steak was one of the best I have ever had in Toronto. I found the food portion quiet generous too. I would give it a 6-star rating if the sixth star was available 👍 P.S. They have a parking lot next to the restaurant (East side). So don't pay for the expensive parking fee somewhere else!

Overall 3/5 experience considering how $$$$. As a fair comment I can say that this place is overrated. Their mac n cheese and jumbo shrimp is my favorite. Good steak fair appetizers and sides. We ordered medium/ well done however we got rare/medium cooked fillet mignon and bone in steak. Oysters 3/5. Steak 4/5. Lobster mash potatoes 2/5. Shrimp 5/5

Overall experience was good. The patio decor is beautiful and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was good, only down side was the lack of dessert by end of night but they said they had 800 guests that day. Anyways, our waiter who cashed us out bought us the dessert because they didn't have the first 3 that we wanted. Very sweet of him despite insisting for him not to. But we appreciate the gesture. I just hope it was comped by management and not literally out of his pocket.

Absolutely wonderful birthday evening I had the opportunity to spend at this gorgeous place! They truly deliver a fantastic setup on their terrace, as only a few restaurants were operating in the city due to COVID restrictions. And although that particular night weather wasn't the best (as any other cold January in the City) their heaters and terrace set up were incredibly perfect and you could barely even feel you were outside in the middle of the winter. Their attention to detail, their outstanding service and the delectable food, really created a unique experience for me and my friends! It was a fantastic birthday night! Thank you!

Came to try this steak place for myself, was seated in this makeshift tent area in the back with televisions, the temperature in the tent was comfortable but light level was very dim in my opinion and the decoration was sufficient but for $100 per steak place having a seat it side would probably been a better experience doubt I will be able to experience that anytime soon. Our server was very nice and cheerful and very a tentative during are dinner setting. for the food we had special watermelon salad it was really good, for steak we had the rib eye bone in it was okay could use more flavour or at least come with some free sauce, for sides we got house fries shoe string style very good and brussels sprouts which was even better very flavourful and soft best I have had ever. Sadly the steak was nothing special considering the price.

Harbour 60 is an absolute staple of Toronto’s fine dining. You will never hear it mentioned in a bad light. We ordered the calamari, sea bass, bone-in rib steak, pork belly and rice appetizer, and Buffalo cauliflower. Excellent flavour all around. Absolutely great. Would definitely return!

Yelp
Visited Harbour 60 on a Friday night. The restaurant is in a glamorized tent (a very nice one - reminded me of wedding venues) that had white drapes, chandelier, trees, and purple light accents. To start, there is complimentary bread/butter and cheese/olives platter. We tried out the following dishes: Ribeye steak (medium rare): our favourite dish of the night. We enjoyed the fatiness of the ribeye steak which gave a tenderness to each bite. Very tasty and would recommend. Lobster mashed potato: our second favourite dish of the night. We both enjoy mashed potato in general and the lobster elevated the taste. Truffle Mac & Cheese: we did not love the mac & cheese - it was okay, sort of bland. We thought the other dishes stood out more. Tagliatelle Di Mare: the pasta was a bit too al dente for me. Didn't think it was anything special. Enjoyed the seafood components though. Baked Alaska: we were honestly very full but tried the dessert anyway. It's two layers of ice cream on top of a dense cake I believe. There is cream on the outside and liquid poured for the fire is alcohol. The presentation was fun and and visually appealing - but we only took a few bites. A dessert for at least 4 people. The service was great and attentive. Would rate 3.7/5.

Yelp
Todays visit 1/21/23 is quite different than normal. This evening, Harbour 60 was hosting Johnnie Walker liquors. So there was no dining inside the building. But you were inside a party tent. The inside was amazing and very eye catching. For a 10:30p dinner the place was pack. Looking over the menu, you come across so many great options. Now understand one thing, this restaurant isn't cheap by any means. But the quality, and preparation of the food is next level. Well worth the cost, and well worth a visit here. Japanese Wagyu steak (10oz)- The steak was full of flavor and so mouthwatering. That I was eating the steak, with my eyes closed. It was that good. Shrimp cocktail (3)-Huge pieces of shrimp Chilean sea bass- Perfect crispy skin on the Sea bass. I really like the lemon herb crumb, that was the bedding of the Sea Bass. The flavor profile of the entree was amazing. Cocktails- The quality of the liquor was top shelf, and they did amazing job with the drinks Carrot cake- OMG best carrot cake I have had

Yelp
My boyfriend surprised me by booking a dinner on a Friday night at this restaurant. I was surprised that it was a restaurant, as the exterior looked very unassuming- it looked like an old building. The vibe was energetic- the place was divided into two sections. The waitress welcomed us and another staff checked-in our coats. Then we were led to our table. A young lady was our waitress for the evening. She introduced herself and left, so that we could read the menu. When she came back, we ordered two non-alcoholic drinks, buttermilk fried cauliflower (side), Beverly Creek Farms lamb chops (boyfriend's main) and Tagliatelle Di Mare (my main). While waiting, we drank our drinks- they were refreshing and lightly sweet! The buttermilk fried cauliflower was lightly crispy, tangy, and a little bit spicy (due to the blue cheese dressing). The portion size was generous, so we ate them slowly so that we could eat our main dish. When our main dishes have arrived, we were excited. At this point, our waitress changed to a young man, and he was our waiter for the rest of the evening. My dish, Tagliatelle Di Mare, was delicious- the noodles were soft and chewy, and the seafood pieces were juicy. My boyfriend also enjoyed his dish, Beverly Creek Farms lamb chops- he said the lamb chops were juicy and he liked the generous portion size. We could not finish the entire dish, so we asked for a takeout container to take the rest home. For dessert, we got gelato and sorbet (comes with three scoops). Our waiter helped us to narrow down the flavours. To our surprise, we ended up getting four scoops of gelato (two scoops in each cup)! Each gelato was delicious- our favourite was pistachio flavour, it had the deep nutty flavour. We had a great time and we talked about coming back to try other items! This restaurant has won numerous awards for its food and for its romantic vibe, so you know where to pick when you're looking for a great place to go to! :)

Yelp
Great service and ambiance. A fancier restaurant with amazing service and atmosphere, but food could have been better. I cannot emphasize enough how great the service was, knowledgeable, checked up on us multiple times throughout the night, did not rush us to order and overall were so great! Now onto the food. Started with a caesar and it was delicious. Toppings of the caesar could have been better though, there was a tomato, a pepper, onion, an olive and a stalk of celery. The stalk of celery sitting in my caesar eventually made my caesar taste very bitter at the bottom - my mistake though, I should have taken the stalk out of the cup. Table for the bread was great - especially the parm bread. Table also came with an assortment of butter, garlic dip, feta cheese, olives and pickled peppers. Was a nice little munch before the apps and entrees. For the app, got 2 seafood towers and oysters. Presentation was stunning with the dry ice surrounding the seafood. Came with lobster, super large shrimp, king crab legs, oysters, a mixed lobster/ crab salad and your usual sauce pairings for the seafood. This tower was fresh and great for sharing. The mains: Unfortuantely the large tomahawk steak we ordered was very tough and hard to chew through. Disappointing as it was a large piece of meat that was hard to eat. Also lacked some flavour and had no additional salt on the side for dipping. The wagyu on the other hand was melt in your mouth delicious and fatty. Came with black salt on the side for dipping which was a nice touch! Highly recommend getting the wagyu over the tomahawk. Make sure to share the wagyu since it's so fatty, you may not be able to eat a lot of it by yourself in one sitting. Sides: Truffle parm fries were overcooked and very hard. Did not have a soft interior to the fries at all. Brussel sprouts were great. A little on the sweeter side but delicious for the most part. Zucchini was standard, nothing special but good to get the greens in. Mushrooms was standard but also very nice to get as a side. Dessert: Get the carrot cake - it was the best dessert on the menu. Moist and sweet paired perfectly with a walnut ice cream. Creme brulee - you can't go wrong with this! Assortment of sorbets - they did not hit the spot for me personally, it was nothing special. Overall the experience was good. I really enjoyed the wagyu steak and company I was with. However, a little disappointing with the other cut of meat we got and mediocre sides. Especially disappointed with the truffle parm fries. I think the service from the wait staff really was the best part of the restaurant and made the experience that much better!

Julie G.

Yelp
Food was very average with a good cut of highly overcooked meat. The entrés were shared by three, as well as the Caesar salad which, although good to taste, fell short if what would be expected of such an institution. Service was alright, nothing great however and certainly not a highlight. Ambiance was great for the most part however, the shared washrooms with an oddly matched nightclub in the basement needs rethinking. Overall, average food, average service with overpriced menu.

Anne L.

Yelp
The food and service were exceptional and we had a special occasion so we wanted to go all out. Be prepared to spend a small fortune but the steak and seafood were done to perfection. Extensive wine list, which led to our downfall. Steven the samolier and Reily was our server. We were "well" taken care of on all accounts. Fun night with good friends, good food and good wine.

Sharon Y.

Yelp
I kept hearing about the mac and cheese from this place, and as a mac and cheese fanatic I had to come give it a try. We got the ribeye, lamb chops and Mac and cheese. The meal started off with a complimentary bread and antipasto platter made up of cheese, pickled peppers, olives and garlic. The bread was actually quite nice, there was a plain one and a cheesy one. The steak and lamb chops were cooked perfectly and were nice and flavourful. The ribeye size isn't noted on the menu but it is quite large and I think you could probably even share it. The most disappointing part of our meal was actually the item I was looking forward to the most. The Mac and cheese was quite rich but honestly very flavourless. Even some salt and pepper would have helped a bit. I didn't realize that there are two entrances to the building - I entered through their temporary outdoor patio entrance (though it was fully enclosed so not really a patio) and that's where we ended up being seated. I sort of wish we had gone to the main building instead as the neon purple aesthetic in the tent felt more like a funky bar than an upscale steakhouse. Our server was extremely attentive and our glasses were very promptly refilled. I noticed that there were a ton of waiters for the amount of tables in the establishment, it seemed like there was almost one waiter per table. Overall the experience was nice and the food was better than some other upscale restaurants I've been to around Toronto, but the decor and their Mac and cheese held them back from getting 5 stars.

Jasmine L.

Yelp
Wow, as my first official steakhouse experience, this was definitely an indulgent and posh spot to dine. HACK#1: they have free valet parking HACK#2: they have complimentary antipasto plate as a starter Cocktail and wine list was immense and unique. We got 2 of their special edition cocktails which we enjoyed. As for the star of the night...the steaks. We chose JAPANESE A5 WAGYU 10oz - it was like beef butter, but had the slightest thin crisp of char from the cook. Sprinkle just a bit of that volcanic salt, MMM!! It was sooo soft and rich, it coated all my taste buds! 10oz was seriously more than enough to share between the 2 of us. Our next choice was the BLACK TRUFFLE DUCK EGG STEAK - which unfortunately ran out of truffles that day, so it was just an egg. The steak was perfect medium rare, but honestly having it after the wagyu was like night and day. This steak had a more 'meaty' flavour and fibrous texture & char. We also ordered the LOBSTER MASHED POTATOES (moderate chunks of lobster & creamy smooth mash) and CRISPY CRAB CAKES (amazing crab cakes with so much crab meat!!). Overall, the standouts was just how fine dining the atmosphere was, the Japanese Wagyu, and the Crab cakes for me. The service was a little weird, our waiter spoke quite casually to us and snapped at one of the waiting staff in front of us.

Yelp
This restaurant is very much overrated !! The food was very average for the super high price. Our serve was very good and attentive i must say but the manager and the sommelier were out of touch!! We ordered our food and wanted to spend 200$ plus on a good bottle of wine but by the time he came back with our bottle we were practically almost done with the meal. Our waitress noticed and offered a free desert to compensate for the wait which was very nice but then we were full. We opted for two cocktails instead and that was appreciated however we barely had time to drink them as they told us we had to leave because they wanted to accommodate people coming in after the hockey game near by. We had already spend 550$ already in the two hours we were there and we were going to have more drinks since it was only 10pm but they were not accommodating at all. We probably would have had the same amount of drinks as two people would have had coming from game but it didn't matter to them that we had spent 500$ upwards for dinner and they said it didn't matter how much people spend they just want to try to accommodate everyone. I thought they would value high paying costumers but they really don't care obviously. Weird way to run a business in my opinion! If you want a good dinner they are plenty of good restaurants in Toronto like Don Alfonso for example , right around the corner for H60 and you'll get much better food/service for that money!! We won't have dinner there again perhaps just a few drinks late at night as they seem to care more for that type of customers!

Yelp
Visited Harbour Sixty in Sept 2022. That's about 20+ years past its prime. Yet we were still misguided in expecting to be wowed. After all, the photos on the website show a nice looking restaurant. We weren't expecting to be guided to the basement ad-hoc seating, where the carpeting and flooring is onerous for those who want to wear heels. The ambiance and decor in the basement reminded me of a low-budget Muzik or Lobby experience. As for the food. The very expensive Japanese Waygu was not phenomenol and a boring disappointment. The Alaskan king crab legs were dry and unimpressive. The foie gras uninspired. What was ok? The lobster mash potatoes, the crab cake, and the bone in rib-eye. What was good? The creme brûlée. Would we recommend going here? Only if you were the type that they saw could be seated upstairs in the main dining room, and only if you knew what actually tasted great at Harbour Sixty. Otherwise, there is no reason to go to to this place to dine

Yelp
Went to this place because of the hype and it did impress me! 1) The location is accessible and you have access to a free parking that reserves spots for the restaurant. 2) The staff are polite and helpful. 3) There is complimentary bread, cheese, butter and olives. Very fresh and tasty! 4) The shrimp cocktail: Shrimps we're definitely fresh and tasted awesome. The sauce is something similar to tomato sauce, which is really good. 5) The Ribeyes steak was cooked to perfection, seasoned beautifully, and it melts in your mouth. 6) The Creek Lambs were good but the sauce wasn't the best. I have had better and I expected a bit of reduction. 7) The lobster mashed potatoes was disappointing. It was bland, the brie cheese was supposed to melt but the potatoes weren't hot enough, and the lobsters were too earthy. 8) The Coconut Cream Pie: I give it the medal . The best item on the menu by far and it was an absolute pleasure to have it. Even if you don't want the steaks, make sure you try this pie!

Julianne J.

Yelp
Harbour 60 when it first opened was first class old world steak house. Sadly, this is no longer the case. Steaks are solid. Sides are disappointing, less than mediocre. While the pricing is in line for a steakhouse, maybe just slightly higher, the quality of the food is significantly lower. For a night out at a steak house look elsewhere.

Yelp
Covid restrictions, only outdoor patio dining allowed in the Province at this moment. Probably the most indoor feeing patio in all of Toronto where inside the tents even have chandeliers. there were nice heaters and inside was very comfortable during the day after a snow blizzard. We spent approximately $1300 for 4 people. Food and wine was definitely overpriced for what you get. A $12 bottle of wine is about $98 at this restaurant. The mark up for their wine is 4 to 7 times the retail price. They do not allow u to bring your own wine with corkage fee. Got the Australian Wagyu, 50oz that was over $400. Tasted like a ribeye and nothing special. Lobster mash was the best side. Mac and cheese was just ok. Brussels sprouts were good but way to salty and I love salt. Avoid the pork belly fried rice at all cost--heavy vinegar, salt, and tasted like ketchup. Service was great. No complaints there. We ended up drinking 3 bottles of their harbour 60 cab ($80+/bottle). Won't be back due to how expensive this place is for what u get. Also, somehow charging $80 for a $12 wine pretty much is a scam. FYI, prices on the menu on open table is out dated bc the prices on company's website show a 30% increase on all steaks.

Jennifer U.

Yelp
This restaurant depends on what you are looking for and how much you are willing to spend. They start you with a generous plate of olives and cheese with a basket of fresh bread and butter. The service is top-notch from front to table. The ambience is fantastic inside and out. The meals, well, I was expecting to have my filet mignon melt in my mouth cooked medium and $100 but it was just ok. Most people might say great but when I can make a beef tenderloin steak at home with more flavour then to me it's not worth the money. Next, the sides are separate...that's fine, they are around $25-$30 but large portions and shareable for 3-4 people. However, the steaks come with nothing on the plate. Just a hunk of meat. No sprig of anything to make it look pretty, kind of odd for a chef but I think this is the upper class resto thing for steaks?? Friend had halibut- huge portion but dry. Not bad but again, for $75 I would like to be wowed. So if you want to spend a fortune on a nice evening then go for it but for $30 per glass of any drink and just meh dinners, go to the keg. You will get more flavour for half the cost.

Ida N.

Yelp
If you enjoy airplane quality food in oppressive heat then eating at the Harbour 60 patio in the winter is the place for you. We got the fois gras and that was honestly my mistake ordering that at a steak house. It fell very short of any expectations for fois gras. We got a salad, the ribeye (one portion is enough for two people), the truffle Mac and cheese, and the broccolini. The steak was actually good but nothing else at this restaurant is worth the money or the calories. I wish I had better things to say. The service was good! Very kind staff.

Christina T.

Yelp
Hi my name is Chirstina I was at Harbour 60 Steakhouse last week for dinner food was expected but this place charged a lot the server took my order then went missing. Then when my food came the guy that dropped it to my table had bad order his shirt was so dirty to and Harbour says dress code ok plus dropped blood from the steak all over the table not even say sorry his breath smell like vodka and my kids asked me why he is wearing nail polish to thank u Harbour 60 for a bad night.

Hannah W.

Yelp
Great experience at Harbour 60! The decor of the restaurant is modern and beautiful. The service was very professional and accommodating, the food was excellent and the portions were large. The location of the restaurant is also nicely in the center of downtown but also near the lake. It doesn't have a lake view, but it's still a good location. I had the foie gras appetizer, and it was the most generous portion of foie gras I've ever had at a restaurant before. Just a huge amount on that appetizer, I was shocked! The chicken entree with polenta was tasty, and the molten chocolate lava cake dessert was also rich and tasty! The portion sizes are so large all around, I had plenty of food to take home. Great experience, obviously not an every day thing for the average person (because of price) but for a big occasion, Harbour 60 is a very nice option.

Aida K.

Yelp
Service was great and all the staff we interacted with was very attentive. We got a filet which was delicious. We got an order of brocollini - it was nothing exceptional, but decent. The biggest disappointment was the truffle mac and cheese. It had no flavour. Very bland. They basically put overcooked pasta in a skillet, threw on cheese, a drizzle of truffle oil, and then baked it. It looks good in photos but when you taste it you quickly realize you just wasted $28. We barely got through 1/3rd of the dish until we couldn't do it anymore. Don't fall in the trap and waste your money with the mac and cheese. We also ordered a salad - it was okay! Come here for the steak and the service - otherwise don't waste your time on the other little things.

Crystal L.

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday night around 9. Pretty quiet. Personally i like the quiet, makes me enjoy the surrounding a bit more than crowded hours. We got seated on the high seat tables by the bar. Our server came within minutes. We ordered the harbour sixty Caesar salad and the 14 oz Filet Mignon (medium) as our mains. We also ordered mushrooms, home-cut fries and white truffle Mac and Cheese on the side. First, the toast and the free topping came. You can always ask them to have the free toast toasted. The toppings are very favourable. I personally love the herb butter and parmesan cheese, not too heavy, great way to start up an appetite. The main course came in roughly 20minutes. That took a bit longer than i expected. Fyi: All food that comes out will be served by the server, if you want to take pictures of the food or urself, remember to tell them to "stop" before they start scooping. The salad was favourable, not too saucy or dry. Great balance between the crunch and freshness that is coming from the veggies. 5/5 The filet mignon was very disappointing. We ordered medium, but you cut through the middle, the mignon is more on the medium rare to rare side, meanwhile the end parts of the steak was overcooked, very dry and "crispy". Very disappointing. 1/5 The sides came, personally i thought the sides will be in smaller portions since it is a "side". But everything is full size. Which i love. We ordered the mushrooms, home cut fried and mac and cheese. The mushrooms are served in a steel plate, super favourable and juicy. Only thing is they use a lot of butter, which gets a bit oily by the end. 4/5 The mac and cheese is PHENOMENAL! I HAVE NO WORDS. The size of the mac and cheese can literally be a main course. I would say if you love cheese, this is MADE FOR YOU. But if you think cheese is too thick or heavy, this may not be something you are looking for~ 5/5 Only thing i was shocked was the homecut fries, it looked very "cheap". Like somewhere you can get at a street food cart. Its very thin and long. Not too much flavour and texture. 2/5. Overall, the food was amazing, i love l how generous the portions of the side dishes were. You can literally come in and order a couple sides, which is equivalent to the price of ONE steak. The only disappointment for the night was the steak (which they highly promote) and their homemade fries, I did expected more since it is relatively on a higher price point. But of course, if i do not include the fries and the steak, everything else was 5/5!

Alex S.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the fun atmosphere and the patio was gorgeous! Great service also very fast and polite. Unfortunately I didn't love my food as much as Eve thing else :( Scallops were a bit over cooked and over seasoned, steaks were average and not worth the extra $$$. The best part of the dinner was fries. I think next time if I come here I'll skip the dinner and just do drinks

Valentina M.

Yelp
I don't truly understand the hype about this restaurant it's such a shame I was hoping to love it. Called to make a reservation and the lady was incredibly rude on the phone and trying to explain she needed a credit card for a reservation and we didn't show up they'd charge $100 per person. I understand if that's your policy just don't sound entitled when your speaking to a potential customer on the phone. We decided to go through with the reso and gave our credit card. When we arrived we were greeted at the patio entrance and were given complimentary masks. Hostess was so rude I don't even understand how they hire rude staff here when people are paying top dollar but anyways. We asked her if we can sit somewhere else since the spot she gave us was right next to the open tent door and it was freezing.... she gave us attitude saying to ask our server since she couldn't seat us anywhere else and walked away.. let me tell you nothing was full it was empty. We stood there waiting for our waiter since we didn't want to sit down and make the cleaning staff sanitize the table again. The waiter said he had to ask the hostess and we were just so over standing there we just asked them to bring us a heater instead. He said they were all taken?! How does an establishment like this not have enough heaters. Better yet how do they think someone paying a minimum $600 bill for dinner is going to sit in a freezing patio without a heater?! He managed to finally bring a heater for us and apologized. We ordered calamari and oysters to start and were so good and fresh. My martini was excellent and made well. We ordered a filet mignon and it was so dry and chewy you couldn't even enjoy it without your jaw hurting. For sides we got mad and cheese which was flavourless no salt and uncooked shells and the lobster mashed potatoes which were excellent. Honestly not worth the hype save your $ and spend it at blue blood way better service and food.

Michael C.

Yelp
Let me be clear this is Boston pizza quality for a total of $770.00 Very long wait for service after a big sell up of the menu. For the price of $ 600, which was my share of donation. I cannot call this anything else as a bill you'd happily pay at a decent restaurant... You get two shrimp, half an oyster, a Costco stick of crab with some dry ice, some lobster legs... With two hockey puck like burgers, some iceberg lettuce, with some canned chick peas to call a Nicoise salad for my friend and his wife and bread with olives. There is a strong possibility the cost of dry ice for the seafood tower blew the entire budget, leaving little for the rest. I was hoping the Martini would be decent, an easy task. Which when you ask for dirty comes with cheap Smirnoff Vodka, decent sized olives and half a can of brine. It was green with brine. We mentioned our concerns regarding the low standard to the waitress after which this happened. Its easier to laugh than being angry. The angry manager pitched up at our table. "What is the PROBLEM with our food?!!! I thought it was comedy hour. Took no responsibility for the low level of food or poor quality of service. What we however felt exuding from every pore of his body - was distain for the customer. This authoritarian demeanour of this individual, made our group feel it was our fault as customers for stumbling upon this overpriced, low quality, resentful restaurant manager of a spot. I have to say I am disappointed. I did have some hopes for this place as it started with very pleasant entrance and warm greeting, but this was crushed pretty quickly. I suppose I should end this in a positive. Harbour 60 is good at something... This something, is ripping people off. I am being kind and reserved with my words.

Stanley S.

Yelp
Excellent food, service & ambience. The seafood was fresh and delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection.

Goudy L.

Yelp
The Baked Alaska for two is memorable and contains enough ice cream for 3 people. Bring insulin. Cocktails are prepared with great attention to detail, and a heavy pour (2 Oz). Overall Harbour 60 has a strong night club vibe, with DJ type music going in the background and very high prices for liquor and food.

Qianqi Z.

Yelp
We went to Harbour 60 for dinner on Saturday night to have a date night. The vibe we love. Our server is professional, informative and friendly. I took many recommendations from our server, and all of them were good choices. The food, drinks and dessert were all tasty and lovely. One thing bug our night was the valley parking. We drove into the parking lot and stoped at one of the parking staff #1, said "hi". He said "40 dollars" ! without greeting without asking. I got so confused and was going to ask more information from him. I have said anything yet, "40 dollar, cash, or leave" . i was like "i don't have cash, card? " and he said "leave" . we were already 5 mins late for our reservation time, so we decided to let my bf enter restaurant and i can figure it out the parking. So when my bf got off the car, i turn my direction and run into the staff #2. I asked couple question about cash because i felt wired that valley parking ask cash only. Until i told him i am late for my reservation and he told me valley parking is Harbour 60's service and he can take care of my car. If story ends here~i would complain. I just can't take he was trying blame on me did ask one of the staff and told them i have reservation. I literally said "it's your job to ask customers without saying 40 dollars and leave" ! i was pissed off at this moment until staff #3 showed up and said "be happy Lady! you should ask" ~~~!!!!!!!!!!!! 1. i didn't get any chance to have a whole convo with parking staff #1 cuz all he said was "40 dollar, cash, or leave" after i said "Hi". 2. A little nice sorry would be nicer to deal this ridiculers misunderstanding. I understand misunderstanding do exist, but when it happened, please just don't blame on your customers. So 5 stars for the restaurant 0 star for this parking service. evel

Yelp
Ambience and service excellent. Attentive and helpful, friendly and fun without being intrusive. The plate of olives and cheese were top notch (the cheese/olive oil spread really tasty!). My steak (filet) was cooked med-rare perfectly. Seasoning spot on. Others with me their steak was a bit overdone - more towards medium. Still tasty though. Be prepared for the price. Portions are big and everything high quality but it does ring up the bill. Overall a very nice experience that is well supported by great service.

Yelp
We had dinner at Harbour Sixty to celebrate my fiance's birthday. Service was excellent - our server was very attentive and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the menu items. * BLACK TRUFFLE STEAK & EGGS (5/5) (10 oz Prime Tenderloin Topped with a Free Range Fried Duck Egg 'Sunny Side Up' & Shaved Black Truffles, White Truffle Oil) 5 stars!! Loved this so much - I ordered medium rare steak. They loaded the top with lots of truffle shavings and the truffle oil flavour was very strong. Highly recommending this, it was so delicious. * BONE-IN RIB STEAK (4/5) My fiance ordered this and thought the portion was perfect - which means it would be too much for me haha. He ordered this in medium rare too - the meat was nice and tender! SIDES: * BRUSSELS SPROUTS (5/5) (Soy Ginger Glaze, Sesame, Garlic) Since we were consuming all meat, we thought it would be nice to pair it with brussels sprouts. Best decision. This was so yummy - the taste doesn't get bland at all! * LOBSTER MASHED POTATO (4/5) This is very delicious but very filling! There are huge lobster chunks in the mashed potato - which tasted very fresh.I think one side dish was enough for us - we ended up packing this.

Yelp
Wanted to support even during Covid times so ordered online through tock. It was odd because after ordering they sent a text saying to send your drivers license to their email address. I thought this was odd and called asking if I could opt out of this practice as I've paid through Tock and the payment went through. They stated I could show my drivers license when I went to pick up the food. When I arrived the food was packed beautifully in little boxes and branded bags. It was good... but I think steak is still best eaten served right away. So I can't wait till covid is over then we can dine in person and I can try Harbour 60 properly.

Yelp
Great steak and good service. Only problem I had with the place was the atmosphere! They set us on the patio and the music was literally thumping club style to where we couldn't hear each other. There was a few gangsta rap songs so I really don't like profanity and racial slurs in the background with my expensive steak. Strange place, but maybe that is just "fashionable" Toronto?

Yelp
I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The front entrance was really pretty. Staffs were friendly. I sat in the heated patio and it was not cold. Mash potato was really good. Also lobster tail was excellent. I would recommend anyone to go.

Yelp
I went here for lunch one day after my brother's recommendation. In short, I had high expectations and those expectations were met. I personally am not a fan of red meat but if you are then be sure to try their steak, it's what they're mainly known for - as well as the mac n cheese! I got their chicken which is not something I often get being a seafood lover, but this chicken was definitely at the level of some of best salmons I've ever tried. The sauce was just so well-made and the polenta - which I consider as a mashed potatoes alternative, was a total hit. The seafood pasta was also really good, but you can never go wrong with that in my opinion. Overall, no matter what kind of meat you like, you'll be sure to have your tastebuds satisfied here!

Yelp
Private Room - a wine book the size of an encyclopedia. A private hostess just for that small room that fit 20 people. 4 other gentleman bussing and hustling to keep service at an optimum. If you ever feel like treating yourself- go here! I got the Tomohawk steak- the thing was a monster!! I asked for it chicago styled. It changed my outlook on steak. That bitter char exterior going into that juicy medium rare meat inside. Was wonderful. Since we were a large group- we got a bunch of side's. Lobster mash was wonderful and so was the procuitto platter. The feta that they bring with the bread was out of this world as well. I wish I could go here more often! However i am glad that I did go once. Private room is a must for larger groups!

Yelp
Come to this place several times. The service is great - seating did not take long whatsoever (I advise that you do get a reservation tho), the waiter/waitresses are super thorough and know the menu well, so definitely ask questions. I would say that the menu is slightly over priced for the food, but it's a dining experience in itself so I'd definitely binge once in awhile. The steaks are cooked well - I usually get my steaks medium rare, but I don't mind them being a little more on the rare side, and that's usually how they come (it's a plus in my books). The sides that you can choose are pretty large, even the half sizes are pretty filling for two people. The gin and tonic was huuuuuge, I babysat mine and it was good my entire dinner lol. The oysters are bomb too if you enjoy them. All in all i'd definitely recommend this place as a must visit at LEAST once.

Yelp
Everything you're looking for. Big event dinners, big drinks, big slabs of cow and big prices. New York steaks are giant. Rib eyes are nice and marbled with a bit of fat. Filets come in 10 and 14 but apps are huge so you don't have to go to the 14. Not five stars because as usual the sides are sometimes meh and at $17-$19 each they need to be better than meh. Brussels sprouts is good (we debated what was the source of the sweetness but never really pinned it down). Mushrooms were tiny and mash was, well, mash. Also had the H60 salad and a Caesar (drink, not salad). Both were good but the Caesar was weak. Interesting that in the midst of the romaine e-Coli problem they are still serving Romaine. They assured us that it was sourced from "not those areas" but given that the health authorities don't really know the source of the problem that did not give me much confidence. No thanks I'm not playing Russian roulette especially given this dinner is costing me $200+.

Yelp
Best steak I've had in Toronto! The atmosphere was sleek-casual. Our server was very friendly and gave good recommendations for wine, and also reminded us not to get full on bread because there will be a lot of food. Between my boyfriend and I, we ordered a crab cake, rib eye, fries, and Brussels sprouts. We had to pack most the fries and Brussel sprouts because we were so full! The steak was perfectly cooked- a rare occasion unfortunately for many other steakhouses. The crab cake was legitimately filled with crab, and wasn't tiny. I've had my share of crab cakes around the world and I am happily pleased with this one. Definitely more on the pricey side, but all worth it through my experience. I celebrated my boyfriends birthday here and I would highly recommend that you come to celebrate any big event!

Yelp
Good food, staff needs a little help. I had the Filet cooked great. Service was ok. Wine order was a bit of a mess but over all good food

Yelp
The food and travel guru has been in Toronto for a few days and I got a tip that this place is a must try if you like good steak. It has certainly been around a long time and that should at least say something about the quality of the place. Not only do I love a good steak but I especially like a good steak using Canadian beef. I don't know what you do with your cows but keep on doing it because Canadian beef has so much flavor and always tender. Or at least so I thought until I came here. The server recommended I get the 10oz New York style strip steak. It was $75. Now if you are going to charge that much for a single piece of meat it had better be spectacular, and this was far from it. In fact this was by far the worst steak I have ever had in Canada. Not only was there no flavor but it was no where close to tender. Wherever they got this steak should be sued for false advertising and the rest of the meat from that cow should be burned in effigy. Not even the sides or the apps I got were good, and it was all overpriced. Not even the bread was good. Now they have this lobster mashed potatoes on the menu and the server insisted I get it. I wasn't all that sure but I got it. The lobster was good and flavorful and the mashed potatoes were ok but they just did not go well together. It was truly like mixing water and oil. It just didn't work. The one saving grace was the scallops that were also overpriced but were good. So if you have to come here order this and nothing else. I come to find out they also have some very expensive liquor in a cabinet on display for everyone to see. One single ounce glass of that one bottle cost over $1000. Did I try it? NO. But I bring it up because this is the kind of place where a wealthy older man brings his date so he can show off how much money he has. This is a place whose sole purpose is to throw money around. You're not paying for location because all you see is a parking lot, and you are certainly not paying for top notch service. Service was just ok. Since I did not have a great meal I would normally put 3 stars but because I was charged so much it was nothing short of highway robbery and that knocks it down a star. So I call upon you fine and wonderful citizens of the great city of Toronto and avoid this place like the plague. Send this place a message that just because this place has been around for a long time and charges outrageous prices doesn't give it the right to serve bad food. Dog food that costs $100 per can is still dog food.

Yelp
I don't mind paying a lot of money for an great meal...but this was ridiculous. Food was served cold...broiled lobster, and totally over cooked. Was charged for a 2 pound lobster, maybe if it was wearing shoes at the time they weighed it. Tasted like rubber. I ate short rib as an appetizer, it was tasty but also served cold, and mostly fat. The waiter certainly tried, he was very pleasant which is why I'm giving 2 stars but for a 500 dollar meal (no drinks included) it was ridiculous.

Yelp
food better at the keg and the feces floating in the woman's washroom with a touket that wouldn't flush properly was nasty. management didn't care. i won't go back EVER!!

Gurpreet P.

Yelp
Love the crab cakes and steak Try the coconut cream pie House 6wine cabinet is the best

Deona S.

Yelp
When I say I've never experienced such insane rude behavior is an understatement - from the management.

Yelp
As already mentioned but other reviewers, Harbour Sixty is very pricey. It's still worth a try if you love your meat so that you can compare it with other steakhouses. Personally, I preferred the Rib Steak from Peter's and Jacob's since I found them more flavourful and better value. However, the meat from Harbour Sixty was the most evenly marbled so I didn't bite into any tough part or sinew and the knife sliced into the meat easily. We ordered the Burrata (mozzarella and cream) appetizer which came out to $36. We should have asked for the price before ordering. Even though it was delicious and flown all the way from Italy, I could not justify this ridiculous price tag. Also, make sure you order "tap water" if you don't wish to get charged for water. Our server asked us if we liked sparkling or still. We answered still water since we assumed that was the free one. However, still water actually came from a fancy bottle and costs $10. So, be careful what you order! My advice is to stick to the following items on the menu so that you leave happy and feeling you got your money's worth. 1) Truffle fries - generous portion even for half-size order and you can taste the difference from the Truffle oil and grated Parmesan 2) Steak - meat is top quality and cooked perfectly to the right temperature 3) Baked Alaska - large shareable dessert that is flamed table-side; ice cream inside is very creamy and rich

Red C.

Yelp
It was an amazing experience. I celebrated my birthday here and we had a great time. I've been looking forward to try it's baked Alaska and it was phenomenal. The steak was well made l and the white truffle Mac and cheese was delicious. It's recommended to make a reservation before going! Dress code - Business Casual Pricy compare to Keg Steakhouse

Yelp
Food: 4 Stars Service: 5 Stars Ambience: 5 Stars Fill Factor: Stuffed I had wanted to dine at Harbour 60 for a long time so I was very excited when I finally walked through those doors. I did not know what to expect as there was a mixed bag of reviews here on Yelp. Fortunately though I can happily say that my experience here was fantastic. For food I ordered the filet mignon (medium), lobster mash, the calamari and the chocolate lava cake for dessert. The staff started the table off with some bread served with olives and some cheese. There was one cheese that looked a bit like couscous which I found really good. Turns out it is a blend of 3 cheeses (feta and I forget the other two) drizzled with olive oil. Just a random fact I guess. First to the table was the calamari. The rings were very thin and lightly breaded. There were also various ingredients in the dish such as capers, jalapenos, and tomatoes. I enjoyed the calamari as I liked the chewy texture and the dipping sauce it came with had a nice flavour to it and went well with the calamari. I expected the portions to be small but it was actually fairly generous and I would say you can share with 2, maybe 3 other people. The lobster mash and my steak came at the same time. The mash potatoes were served in a pot and again the portions were definitely more than enough to share. Though I was not blown away by it, I found the dish to be tasty and complemented the steak well. If there were any concerns that it was lobster mash in name only, fear not as I kept digging out large pieces of lobster as I devoured it. My steak was served in a large plate with a big slab on meat in the middle which to me looked a bit funny for some reason. Anyway I was a bit worried when I first cut a slice of meat off the side as the slice looked to be closer to medium well to well done than medium. It was a little tough to cut around the edges which was not a huge deal. As I ate more and more of it the meat became more tender and indeed it was cooked to medium as requested. There was a nice crust on the outside though I found it to be a bit on the salty side. For dessert I had some of the chocolate lava cake with a scoop of ice cream. Overall it was good especially when you get some of the hot, gooey chocolate with some ice cream yum. One more note on the food. I managed to get a bite of the scallops and it tasted really good, though a tad bit on the saltier side otherwise done well. In terms of service we were extremely happy with how we were treated by staff in general, however I need to give a HUGE shoutout to Deepak who made our night. Deepak was extremely friendly and personable and we really enjoyed all the help and conversation we had with him. He even arranged to have a message written on our dessert and sang happy birthday. I cannot say enough about how he made our evening that much better. This was my first time stepping inside the building. I had always thought that since the outside of the building looked like it was built eons and eons ago that the inside must be out of date as well. However the interior is nicely decorated and the atmosphere was comfortable. We were seated at a table that was in a partially separated room in the corner which I was happy with. The main area seemed to be a bit noisy so it was great that we had a nice quiet section to ourselves as no other patrons were seated around us. One thing to note is that according to Deepak there is usually a DJ playing music from Monday to Saturday but not on Sundays. We were there on a Sunday so the tunes they were playing all night sounded like they were from the 80s or something. We had a good laugh and did not mind the funky tunes but just a heads up in case music makes or breaks your experience. Harbour 60 exceeded my expectations and I am glad I tried it. For a steakhouse I felt like the prices were reasonable especially for the portions you get. Good food, good service, I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Gosh I love this place. Totally worth the money. The building itself has a lot of history, and the name Harbour Sixty comes from the fact that the water used to come all the way up to Harbour St. I love the beautiful, traditional decor. I came here for a special event, and was taken down the elevator to one of the event rooms. I felt like I was travelling back in time to a secret speakeasy or something. The event space was great. There were about 40 us of, comfortably seated with a screen for the presentation. I had the caesar salad, rib eye and coconut cream pie. Everything tasted like a little piece of heaven. The coconut cream pie was one of the best I've ever had and want to come back just for dessert (but would stuff my face with pretty much anything they make!).

Yelp
Harbour Sixty is a Downtown Toronto classic and well known as a top tier steakhouse. You won't leave without your wallet being much lighter though! Drinks, Mains, Appetizers and Sides are all quite pricey. Food - good quality as expected. Steaks were all cooked and charred appropriately. The Broiled Caribbean Lobster Tail is massive and was cooked to proper tenderness and flavour. The Bone-in Rib Steak was good but did not stand out to me vs other higher end steak houses. Asparagus and Broccolini sides were healthy portions and cooked to proper level of crispiness. Service - top notch and attentive. Courses were delivered in appropriate intervals with constant check-ins for drinks and other inquiries. Environment - high-end and well appointed with a Downtown Financial district feel to it.

Yelp
A little pricey but experience is so well worth it. Once in a while lol. The calamari is definitely a must try. Deserts are good too.

Sel Z.

Yelp
I've came here a few times for both lunch and dinner, and always left feeling very satisfied each time. Everything from the at-the-door greeting, dining service, food, and ambience were phenomenal. Although it's a steakhouse, the diversity and quality of their seafood dishes were amazing. The black cod and Caribbean lobster tail were stand-out dishes. Even the side dishes such as truffle mac & cheese and broccolini were perfection.

Yelp
I was celebrating something that I had been working on for a while and wanted to come down to somewhere special in Toronto! Harbour 60 exceeded its reputation for steaks! I was pleasantly surprised to see the 10 oz. Waygu steak on the menu and had to get it. Aside from the price, it is one of the best steak's I've had in a while! It resembles a "pork belly" in texture more than anything!! I was there for a short time, since I had to catch a flight back but the staff was courteous and the food was delicious!

Rommel D.

Yelp
Free parking, valet service, beautiful decor, exceptional service, wonderful friendly staff, and fantastic food. Situated in the heart of downtown Toronto, Harbour Sixty will transcend you to an era where time stands still. Entering the restaurant you are surrounded by sights beautiful decor. Scents of sweet flowers as you enter the restaurant. Up to the bar for a few drinks and instead of the bar nuts, you're served beautiful applewood smoked stripes of bacon!! That's right, bacon. Seated in the dining room, you're provided a huge wine list from all over the world. Steaks are delicious and juicy and our complement dishes were lobster mashed potatoes, mushrooms cooked in white wine and served with thyme. Side dishes have to be ordered separate from the steak. A bit costly, but you can taste the quality.
