Well, let me first say that the bed was comfy and clean, and the pillows fluffy. The location was quiet.
The hotel itself was pretty basic. It has institutional grey/green walls, threadbare towels, mass-produced wall art in the rooms, (pretty lame, considering it is Salt Spring which has about a zillion artists) and the restaurant is currently closed. There was no fridge or microwave in the rooms, nor complimentary tea, although there was coffee, which I don't drink, so I don't know if it is any good.
The shower did not work very well, with pressure problems and temperature fluctuations.
Aside from the problems, the staff were nice to chat with.
I would say it was worth the groupon price I paid, but I am not sure it would be worth more than that unless and until it gets a facelift.
