Harbour House Hotel

Room was very clean and tidy. Spacious for the two of us. Bathroom was really great quality and good finish too. Shower gets nice and hot and has good power. Views from our hotel room were spectacular. We can literally see whales from the window. There are also cliff walks just outside with views of the coast and a good chance to see Hyrax, Cape Eagle Owl and many small colorful birds among other sea animals. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good too

We loved this hotel, we only stayed for 3 nights but wish we had time for longer. Absolutely first class service from the staff, very helpful and good fun. The location of the hotel is perfect with views of the bay and the whales and great for accessing the town. The rooms are massive and have great facilities. We lived breakfast, so many choices and an amazing view to watch the whales.

A return for us to Harbour house, this time we stayed in a sea view room in the annexe. There is absolutely nothing that could improve this room. Service was excellent, staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. We only had breakfast here, on our last day of four we are outside at the poolside watching Whales whilst having breakfast is a memory we will never forget.

Fantastic central location with a view to the sea and we were very lucky to see multiple whales breaching from our balcony! Very attentive staff, smooth check in and wonderful stay overall even for 1 night. It is on our list to come back!

Harbour House has always been are go to place when visiting Hermanus it is so central to everything and the staff are so friendly. Rooms are large and spacious some with sea views. The only negative I have is the breakfast could do with some tweeking. My eggs Benedict the sauce had split. The sausage overcooked. But all in all a lovely central hotel.

A brilliant place. Staff fantastic and so many nice touches like complimentary arrival drinks and free afternoon tea. Beautiful room and fantastic breakfast. Really enjoyed our visit to the Harbour House Hotel and Hermanus

So good we returned. Wonderful Hotel in our opinion the best hotel in Hermanus. Fantastic location, wonderful rooms this time we stayed in a Sky Sea View Studio which was amazing. Staff deserve a special mention for being so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Room was beautiful with a view over the ocean. We were able to see whales every day from our balcony! (Aug/sept)
