Harbour House Hotel

★★★★★ An all-around perfect stay – thank you so much! Our stay at the Harbour House Hotel was absolutely wonderful! From start to finish, we felt very comfortable. We were particularly impressed with our very nice, large room. It was not only spacious but also absolutely clean and comfortably furnished. The cleanliness throughout the entire hotel was also impeccable. The breakfast was another highlight – a great selection, freshly prepared, and a perfect start to the day. A special thank you goes to Manager Kevin, who provided truly personal and warm service. This level of commitment makes all the difference! We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is beautifully located, just a few minutes’ walk from the market, shops, as well as restaurants and bars. The rooms are very spacious, modernly furnished, and absolutely clean – you immediately feel comfortable. The entire hotel is extremely well-maintained. A special highlight is the friendly and attentive staff who are always helpful. Breakfast is served à la carte, offering a delicious variety with a nice British touch. In the afternoon, complimentary scones, tea, and coffee are provided – a lovely gesture. The pool is cleaned daily, and during whale season you can even watch whales directly from the pool. A wonderful hotel that I can wholeheartedly recommend.

We had an awesome stay in the Harbour house Village square in Hermanus in October. The book in process was smooth, staff very helpful and the accomodation was perfect. The hotel is super central and in the heart of Hermanus next to many restaurants, pubs and the amazing cliff path. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool as well and the breakfast was delicious. We cannot wait to return.

Check in was not smooth but we got there. Our room was clean & large. Our bathroom was a disabled bathroom with not shower screen or hooks shelving & absolute minimal bench space. |We arrived home at 11pm on our 1st night to find both large sliding windows to our room open - someone had been in, nothing was taken. (We were just under street level on the street. There was a fence between us & the road.) The zip tie that was holding the toilet flusher together had broken so we had to manually flush. |I told the manger in the morning. It took nearly 2hrs for the window (1 locked & the other didnt) to be fixed. Husband fixed toilet with a paper clip so unfortunately someone else will have to deal with that. |Check out after 2 nights. No outstanding amount … until we get back to AU & there is an outstanding amount!! They had our card twice & failed to process each time. |Location good. Have a go if you are brave!!

We stayed overnight while travelling through the Cape and it was well worth it. The hotel is well located, the room was very comfortable and the staff — at every level — were exceptional. Breakfast was tasty and served by attentive, friendly staff. A most pleasant stopover.

We stayed here for 3 nights in October and loved it. The hotel is perfectly located and within walking distance of come lovely restaurants. Within an hour of our arrival we were stood at the old harbour wall watching whales.||The service is really friendly, everyone smiles from the security staff and cleaners to the waiting staff and receptionists. All of the staff are very helpful. Breakfast was lovely and our room was beautifully appointed.||||We didn’t want to leave.||

Room was very clean and tidy. Spacious for the two of us. Bathroom was really great quality and good finish too. Shower gets nice and hot and has good power. Views from our hotel room were spectacular. We can literally see whales from the window. There are also cliff walks just outside with views of the coast and a good chance to see Hyrax, Cape Eagle Owl and many small colorful birds among other sea animals. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good too

Lovely hotel, very quiet despite the location near to a bar/restaurant. Lovely views at breakfast and having tea in the afternoon. We even saw whales! Staff very friendly and helpful.
