Harbour View

I must warn anyone considering booking this hotel to think twice. This is located in a nearly abandoned town with no operating shops or facilities nearby apart from this property. If you’re not driving, getting here from Reykjavik is extremely difficult. The host has a terrible attitude and refused to issue a refund, not even a partial one, despite us explaining the situation. We ended up having to spend extra money booking another hotel. This caused significant disruption to our trip. The booking platform provided no warning whatsoever about how inconvenient this location is, making it extremely unfriendly for international travellers. I have every reason to believe that many guests may be misled by the images displayed on the booking page.

The location is very bad. Many things in the town have been removed, making it difficult to get there. In addition, the landlord insisted on not refunding the money and not responding to messages when there was no check-in!

We really enjoyed our stay in these little cabins! I was pleasantly surprised by the space, with plenty of room for 2 adults, a small kitchen (and mini fridge), nespresso machine and pods included, and a nice bathroom. The view is as promised and has great light. We were thankful for the blackout curtains since it was like for about 21 hours! Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. Check in was very easy and location was perfect. I would recommend this place for two travelers! Close to a cafe and a nice restaurant. 3 min walk down to a dock.

Love! The box apartments are adorable. We only stayed one night but wish we stayed longer. The beds were comfy; the apartments were quiet; and the shower was great. We wish there were early morning breakfast options but other than that, everything was perfect.

the big problem is that I can't give 6 stars amazing place, great view. very private. full kitchen the room is small but you have all you need. the bad very good ant the view from the sofa is amazing in sunrise. price is average Receiving a key in most hotels and guesthouses of this type. Receiving a code to open a box containing a key to the room. Another thing is that you have to lift the handle up to lock the room with a key

This is a wonderful place to stay. It's only a 10 min drive to the Blue Lagoon, close to the harbor restaurants and the facility was really perfect if you need to sleep more than 2 (up to 4). Will deficiently go to stay there again. Is a self-check in and was super easy.

Expected a very spacious cottage, but for 2 adults and 2 kids, it was pretty cramped. The cottage was clean and easy to get in. This is ideal for 2 people. Can view the harbour from the cottage. The cottage layout is good, but hardly any space to move around. Even the kitchen was not well equipped and the platform was tiny. Can't really prepare much. No microwave either. Not worth the price.

Great little location right on the water. Loved the heated floors. Just enough for what my husband and I needed. Great little farm next door with goats which added to the quaintness. Room was ready in time and clean.
