This family-owned hotel is superb in every way. The team are attentive and helpful. The rooms and public spaces are tastefully decorated and comfortable. The views are outstanding. The chef and food quality are top drawer. The rates are reasonable. The contributions that the owners, Ant & Georgia, make to this village and community are enormous. We booked rooms with them on 7 consecutive nights for friends visiting St Ives. Every guest was delighted with every element of their stay. You won’t be disappointed.

Fabulous little hotel at the top of the town looking across the harbour. We have stayed in room 1 (fist floor, see pic of room with two windows, one looking out to sea and the other looking over the harbour) and room 5 (second floor, one window looking over the harbour). Very accommodating hosts throughout the stay, lovely breakfast menu and delicious lattes! Same fantastic view from the restaurant / coffee shop looking out over the bag on the ground floor. Parking off street just behind the hotel (steep slope, so don’t bring big cars or low-lying sports cars! ;-) but there is space right outside the front of the hotel to temporarily pull up and unload luggage and save carrying bags up the hill from the car park). Really enjoyable stay for a few days in January.

The views from this lovely hotel are breathtaking! Our room was beautifully decorated and was warm and cosy, with nice toiletries in bathroom. Our breakfast was exceptionally good. Every member of the hotel team was welcoming and friendly.|We travelled to St Ives bt train. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the station and the hotel owner kindly let us drop our bags off before and after our stay.|Harbour View House totally exceeded all our expectations and we will definitely return.

We had one night at Harbour View House, and were very happy with our choice. Our room was very comfortable and modern and had a fantastic view over the harbour. Particularly pretty at night with Christmas lights.|The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place had a very chill vibe. Breakfast was welcome and delicious.|We organised car parking thru the hotel, which was reasonably convenient, just down the hill near the railway station. |All in all, loved this place. Would thoroughly for a short stay!

Possibly has the best window in all of England. Our trip to St. Ives was really brief so I'm really happy I chose this hotel, the view of the harbour was incredible and made me feel like I got to soak in the town even though I was only here for one night. The decor and ambiance of the place was really warm and relaxing and the staff were very welcoming and kind. Parking was just around the corner and it was easy to walk anywhere. I hope I can come back someday!

Location is very ideal as its close to bus and train station and restaurants and shops. The room has fantastic view of the sea. You don’t have to worry about room being too cold as they have two working radiator so you can get warm as much as you want. The room is complete with towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, handwash, hair blower, clothes rack. I dont see any clothing iron tho, luckily it’s jumper season so we dont need it. There are power outlet on each side of the bed which is a plus for me. My only cons during the stay is that the bathroom blinds is broken and we cant get it down. That makes us conscious on standing near the sink with just our towels as we can be seen outside, our remedy was to use the toilet at night without lights which is pretty annoying. ||Lastly, I’m really thankful with our host as they let us checked in early free of charge. Probably because it’s not peak season and the room is ready.

A rare Sunday treat for us, and boy, was it a treat. Not your classic Sunday roast but absolutely mouth watering delicious and great presentation. Best roast potatoes we've had in a long while, and superb cauliflower cheese. It was all pretty darn good - didn't want to lose the taste in my mouth. We will definitely be back and

My wife and I had a meal at HVH this week for the first time, and it was superb! We've been coming to St Ives for a few years now and it was not just the best food of this trip, but probably of all the trips we've done. Thoroughly recommend. Food, wine, service, atmosphere, all on point. Thank you x
