Harbour View Suites

My stay at the Hotel Harbour View was exceptional. The staff at the front desk were incredibly welcoming, and the housekeeping team kept my room spotless throughout my visit. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from the city's main attractions and a variety of excellent restaurants. I especially enjoyed the comfortable bed and the fast Wi-Fi, which made it easy to get some work done. The breakfast spread offered a great variety of fresh, tasty options.

I had a wonderful experience at Harbour View Suites Hotel in Dar es Salaam. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view overlooking the harbour. The location is very convenient, close to the city center and ferry terminal, making it easy to get around.

I am coming here for last 2 years and find this as best hotel in Dar.

Overall the stay was very good. It was like home away from home. Mr Raju manager of the hotel made my stay very comfortable. Breakfast is very good. They serve South Indian dishes like Idli Sambhar, Dosa, Mendu wada, gol wada, sambhar, peanut chatni, coconut chatni, puri bhaji, grean peas sabji with paratha and roti, powa. They also serve other continental food as well along with indian food. Fruits are of 3 to 4 varieties with salads. They also serve masala tea. Further the location of the hotel is in the busiest street and can easily find local taxis, autos standing outside the hotel. Next to the hotel there are casinos clubs to enjoy. The building also has an currency exchange shop as well. It has a gym which is sufficient enough with all the required equipments. The swimming pool is neat and cleanly maintained. It also has an in-house restaurant which serves Indian food as well. Over all it was a nice stay. Many thanks to Mr. Raju for making my stay more comfortable with an upgrade.

Hemant was incredible! I messaged Harbour View Suites on WhatsApp and he instantly replied ensuring we had the best room and accommodation! He arranged our beautiful private pick up from our airport who was waiting for us outside the second we walked out of the airport ready for pick up with a big smile, Jefari dropped us off at the hotel helping with all of our luggage. He was also the one to drive us back to the airport after our stay completed. Hemant organized it all! Makamba checked us in at the hotel and wow is it upscale! The room is super spacious, with a gorgeous view looking out at the harbour! We saw so many cool and luxurious boats, and ships! It’s located in a perfect part of town if you want to walk around. It’s definitely full of people but that how the city is. The shower is very fancy, the entire hotel room with the shower room has privacy windows- meaning you can look outside but no one can see inside which is super cool! The bed was actually SUPER cozy, with real thick blankets and pillows, the mattress soft. The AC is strong and conveniently located on the wall mount. The balcony is big with more gorgeous views! The closet is big as well allowing us to store all of our items. The room also has a safe which we put all of our valuables in. We had a wonderful time here, enjoying the restaurant which was super accommodating to our dietary needs, my girlfriend is vegetarian and gluten free. The hotel is located in the town area, convenient if you have work within the town. Otherwise, in my opinion there are many better hotels at similar rates. We hired a suite with 2 rooms, the size was not bad but in general the hotel's interior and the fixtures are quite outdated. The second day of our stay, part of the air condition( ceiling) fell out... breakfast at most was average not quite a variety just your basic English breakfast with fruits, bread and mini croissants and one Indian dish( usually idli sambar or potato curry with puris). And during lunch and dinner I don't think they do buffet, you're supposed to order from their menu, and there's very limited options for vegans/vegetarians. There's a pool and a gym... The swimming pool was good. Although the room service and the other staff were good. But all in all I don't think this is a four star hotel, but rather just another ordinary hotel in the heart of dar es salaam.
