My wife and I enjoyed an absolutely fantastic dinner here last night. From start to finish, it was a perfect experience. The waterfront view as the sun set was breathtaking, creating a truly romantic atmosphere. Our server was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, offering great wine pairings that complemented our meal perfectly. For dinner, my wife had the seared scallops, which she said were the best she's ever had—cooked flawlessly. I opted for the filet mignon, and it was melt-in-your-mouth tender, seasoned exactly right. We shared the chocolate lava cake for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending to a memorable meal. The entire evening felt special, seamless, and worth every penny. Harbourside Grill is the ideal spot for a date night or any celebration. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience. The view was spectacular. We were able to get a window seat cause we made a reservation early and left a remark. If there is no window seat indoor, I think it would also be nice to sit outdoor, though that maybe a bit chilly and windy. The we ordered a shrimp carpaccio, a steak with two sides and an apple tart. Shrimp carpaccio was sweet and delicious but a bit for this price. The steak was a little overcooked for me, luckily we ordered the wagyu sirloin, so it’s still pretty soft. I guess that ll be too hard to chew if it’s a US prime. We also appreciate that we were able to order half bottle of wine instead of a full bottle. This portion is perfect for our casual girl’s dinner. The apple tart is definitely star of the night. It’s sweet but well balanced. We were there for birthday celebration, it was sweet that they offered a small complimentary cheese cake with birthday message on the plate. Overall we enjoyed the view, the atmosphere the service very much. We love the hospitality, but the food is a bit underwhelming for the price. Also the tables are pretty close to each other, sometimes it can get pretty noisy.

The view is truly the highlight here. In the very crowded Victoria Harbour area, Harbour Side Grill stands out as a rare restaurant with beautiful scenery and relatively fewer people. The setting alone makes it an attractive place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. However, the food did not live up to the location. We ordered a risotto and a hanger steak, and both were underwhelming and forgettable. The Cabernet Sauvignon was also quite average. Service was good and professional, and the environment was pleasant. Overall, this is a place where you pay for the view rather than the food.

A beautiful night with a stunning view. I came here for a solo birthday dinner and it was perfect. Special thanks to Amey for the lovely photos. The small birthday dessert and a glass of bubbly were a really nice touch. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would happily recommend it.

Harbour Side Grill Restaurant Review I recently dined at Harbour Side Grill with a group of six, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant boasts a stunning waterfront view, made even more spectacular by the sight of a Star Cruise ship docked nearby, creating a mesmerizing nighttime backdrop. The food was a highlight. We started with the Deluxe Seafood Platter, which was impressively fresh, showcasing a variety of ocean delights. The Steak Tartare was a standout, with its silky-smooth texture and perfectly balanced flavors. Our group also shared a 1kg Tomahawk steak, which was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and just the right portion for six. The accompanying chips were delightfully crispy, adding a satisfying crunch to the meal. For dessert, the Apple Tarte was a sweet yet balanced treat, avoiding the cloying heaviness that can sometimes overwhelm. The service was equally impressive. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and thoughtful, proactively suggesting we order two portions of certain dishes and expertly dividing them into six smaller servings for our group. Throughout the meal, the staff introduced each dish with clear explanations of how to enjoy it best and ensured our water glasses were promptly refilled. Their attention to detail elevated the entire dining experience. Harbour Side Grill is undoubtedly a fantastic spot for gatherings with friends, combining breathtaking views, delicious food, and impeccable service. Highly recommended!

The only redeeming feature is the Victoria Harbour view. The oyster menu claims to serve №2 oysters, but their actual size is more like №4. The presentation and taste of other dishes are also very average. The tuna was ordered medium but arrived fully cooked. The two pieces of choy sum and the shiitake mushroom topping were extremely mismatched. When settling the bill, you’re asked to scan a QR code to rate service satisfaction, but it’s actually a hidden tip prompt. After getting the receipt back, I realized that besides the 10% service charge, they added nearly $200 in tips. I don’t recommend this dishonest restaurant.

fantastic views, food and service. everyone was so attentive and we enjoyed everything we ate. they even turned off the aircon in our section when we got too cold!

A surprisingly good dinner! I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. We just happened upon this place after walking through the endless shopping malls for hours. The maitre'd was confident enough in his meats to convince us to give it a try. USDA prime rib eye was outstanding. The quinoa salad and tuna tartare were absolutely on point. What a treat! The best all around dinner I've had in several years. Thank you!
