Came here Sunday 14th December after a busy few hours walking around in the snow in Reykjavik…. My wife’s birthday and we always try our favourite tradition which is to find a HRC - Yuliia looked after us and was exceptionally pleasant. Food was amazing (as is usually the case) and on the conversation we said it was Michelle’s birthday…. At the end of the main meal they brought over a chocolate ice cream desert with a sparkler which put a huge snile on our faces and gave us a card for a small gift down in the shop :-) great service, great food, great drinks and all round a fantastic job of looking after us :-)

When you arrive at a new country you always feel like you have to try the local food and that you need to experience the culture. However, there are times where you want to find comfort food. A franchise restaurant that you are used to, somewhere you know you will find what you expect. After walking around a little I decided to go to Hard Rock and it was definitely worth the decision. We were greeted by lovely people and served lovely food. I had a lovely NY steak and pork ribs. It was a lot of portion so I even took the food home with me and had it the next day. The restaurant is spacious, has good vibes, good music of course, and a lot of decorations that any Hard Rock Cafe is expected to have. I forgot to take pictures .. but I recommend. I ordered two cokes, one water, one nachos, NY steak, and one pork ribs and paid around 16,000ISK.

Our server, Natassa, was very helpful and attentive to our gluten free requests. She was knowledgeable enough to help us navigate the (clearly marked) menu, and advise us accordingly. We had the chicken club sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. Would recommend.

Surprisingly well done Compared to many of the more local restaurants, this menu has a lot more options including a couple location specific ones. Very attentive staff. Handicap accessible. And great prices. Bathrooms could use a little more frequent cleaning, but they have them, in fact 4 of them.

We got the buffalo chicken sandwich and the Tupelo chicken tenders. The chicken patty on the sandwich was quite hard, not crunchy just difficult to bite through. Buffalo sauce was quite good - extra tangy versus most buffalo sauces (at least from an American perspective). A major appeal of the chicken tenders is the availability of ranch - once again an American perspective but it's a nice return to familiarity. Besides this, the chicken itself is quite good too - consistent with the same tenders offefed by Hard Rock in other countries. Our server did dissapear for quite some time and we sat around waiting for the bill.

A nice global reference within Iceland. All the standard food and charm you are used to getting in Hard Rock Cafes everywhere, though a bit scaled down as expected. We had a very nice server (Yuliis or similar) who was kind and attentive but also worth noting she was not one of the typical overly cool, hip, pushy waiters you tend to see in these venues, which we liked

Just went here for a bit because other places nearby were fully booked. I still don’t really understand the hype around this chain. The food is average, the interior is okay, but the service is good.

Great burger, as expected for Hard Rock, but the Apple Cobbler was extraordinary. Grew up in New England and know my way around an apple cobbler but damn this one was great, reminded me of the apple farms and local pies back home. Devoured it!!
