Our server, Natassa, was very helpful and attentive to our gluten free requests. She was knowledgeable enough to help us navigate the (clearly marked) menu, and advise us accordingly. We had the chicken club sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. Would recommend.

When you arrive at a new country you always feel like you have to try the local food and that you need to experience the culture. However, there are times where you want to find comfort food. A franchise restaurant that you are used to, somewhere you know you will find what you expect. After walking around a little I decided to go to Hard Rock and it was definitely worth the decision. We were greeted by lovely people and served lovely food. I had a lovely NY steak and pork ribs. It was a lot of portion so I even took the food home with me and had it the next day. The restaurant is spacious, has good vibes, good music of course, and a lot of decorations that any Hard Rock Cafe is expected to have. I forgot to take pictures .. but I recommend. I ordered two cokes, one water, one nachos, NY steak, and one pork ribs and paid around 16,000ISK.

Surprisingly well done Compared to many of the more local restaurants, this menu has a lot more options including a couple location specific ones. Very attentive staff. Handicap accessible. And great prices. Bathrooms could use a little more frequent cleaning, but they have them, in fact 4 of them.

A nice global reference within Iceland. All the standard food and charm you are used to getting in Hard Rock Cafes everywhere, though a bit scaled down as expected. We had a very nice server (Yuliis or similar) who was kind and attentive but also worth noting she was not one of the typical overly cool, hip, pushy waiters you tend to see in these venues, which we liked

Great burger, as expected for Hard Rock, but the Apple Cobbler was extraordinary. Grew up in New England and know my way around an apple cobbler but damn this one was great, reminded me of the apple farms and local pies back home. Devoured it!!

10/10 in all areas! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fab and the service was excellent! We came here to celebrate my mums 50th and our waiter went above and beyond! Definitely recommend eating here! The views are also amazing! I have a gluten allergy and the menu was extensive, nothing is too much trouble.

I had an incredible experience at the Hard Rock Cafe in Reykjavik, and it absolutely deserves all five stars! From the moment I stepped inside, the atmosphere was electric — a perfect blend of rock ‘n’ roll energy and Icelandic hospitality. The place was buzzing with Halloween spirit, and the staff went above and beyond to make it fun and memorable. The highlight of my visit was without a doubt Sabela, who was dressed in a Gryffindor costume. She was the perfect mix of charm, professionalism, and enthusiasm — truly embodying the Gryffindor spirit with her warmth and courage in handling a packed restaurant with ease. Despite how busy it was, she made every guest feel personally cared for. Her dedication to her job was crystal clear — from her attention to detail to her genuine smile, she turned a simple meal into a truly special experience. The chicken burger was phenomenal — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The fries were golden, crispy, and seasoned just right, while the burger sauce was the kind of thing you want to bottle up and take home. Every bite was delicious and clearly made with care. Between the amazing food, the upbeat rock atmosphere, and the outstanding service, this was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Reykjavik. Sabela is, without a doubt, one of the best servers I’ve ever met — her dedication and positive energy made the evening unforgettable. I’ll definitely be coming back to the Hard Rock Cafe Reykjavik — not just for the food, but because of amazing people like Sabela who make the experience truly rock. Sincerely, Tom Cruise ✍️
