Everything was fantastic. From start to finish you are treated like a star. All the staff, and I mean everyone, had one thing in common. They wanted to give you the best possible experience and clearly enjoy working there. Each with there own personality allowed to shine through in the best possible way. The room (Standard Garden View) was incredible and those beds! The Hard Rock has the best position to easily visit the parks and close enough to go back an forth easily. The Express Unlimited Pass you get for staying there is a great perk too. The pool area is great and although we didn't eat too much within the hotel, what we did eat was good quality. The late night shop has everything you would need. This hotel has it all, particularly if you love music.

Great hotel, as you would expect for a Hard Rock. Due to refurbishment our room was downgraded but we were really well compensated, no fuss they were aware and ready for us when we checked in and immediately made us an excellent offer and a massive apology. Very professional. Recommend paying for club room and benefits. The pool was great, heated, and the slide was fast. There were plenty of lifeguards which was reassuring although they did like blowing their “whistles”!! The location is perfect for access, walking access, to universal. Other reviews have mentioned park noise at the hotel, this is a myth. As a watch out, if you have a hire car, parking isn’t included, and there is a daily parking charge while staying there. We stayed 10 days, at $33 a day, it soon adds up.

We’ve stayed at this hotel twice before. Despite the high room rates, it can’t be beaten in terms of location and proximity to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure etc. In fact, it’s just a short walk or you can take a short complimentary boat ride. |Externally, the hotel looks like the cover shot from Hotel California and sits in beautiful gardens with a nice pool area. Inside, there’s plenty of music memorabilia and a decent cocktail bar with live music (I think) every night.|Rooms vary but we booked a standard garden view room. It was generous in terms of size. Plenty of room to spread out and with some nice ‘theming’ too. I’d say the bathroom was a bit disappointing and maybe needs an upgrade as it looked a little old fashioned compared to the rest. |You can get your park tickets here at the hotel and your room key acts as an ‘express pass’ too. Prices were competitive with online offers. You can also get a guitar on loan for your stay too ( if you like). It’s free and there’s a choice of around 24 Fender models. |So - why only 3 stars? Too many ‘unforced’ errors. On arrival, our room had no toiletries (shampoo etc). It took several hours before we received supplies. In the 4 nights we stayed at the hotel, our room was only cleaned and resupplied once! (And we were out just about all day everyday with no DnD signs). Pool staff weren’t the best either. We were asked to vacate two sunbeds which were ‘reserved’ despite there being no signs to that effect on them. Finally, on our last day, the handle on the bathroom door just came off in my hand! |So, great looking hotel. Nice cocktail bar and great location. Sadly, let down by a lack of basic management.

We stayed for one night in October. Great hotel, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room however I felt for the room rate the furniture was showing signs of wear. Food was great. It was my son’s birthday and he received a voucher for a shake or dessert which was a lovely gesture. Fast passes were a great incentive to our stay. We didn’t get use of the pool due to the weather. I would return.

We just returned from a great stay at the Hard Rock. The rooms were a nice size, decor felt modern, and the beds were comfortable. They also had plenty of outlets for all the electronics! Rooms had hair dryers, coffee machines with pods provided, and a mini fridge. |The location of the hotel can't be beat. It was a short walk or boat ride to the parks. |The staff were all friendly and helpful. The pool was nice with plenty of lounge chairs so you didn't have to worry about fighting for a spot. We ate dinner at The Kitchen and it was delicious. We also had some food from Emack & Boilo's Marketplace which was tasty.

Just stayed 4 days at this hotel. First the positive points. Hotel is a great location since parks are all a short walk to the parks and city walk. There is also a water taxi on site to take you to the parks. The Beach Cabana bar serves very good food and the service is great. Our housekeeper was very good. She knew our early schedule and had our room cleaned late morning to our liking. There’s a Starbucks on site and all in all it’s a pretty hotel. But, for the $$$ price you pay for your stay, I don’t appreciate the hotel ducks who seem to live in the pool! Having a home pool on a lagoon, I go to great measures to keep ducks out of our pool. Duck poop may contain diseases that thrive in water and be harmful to humans. It is also quite gross to see their feathers floating on the water. The only other negative is that the carpet and couches in the rooms are showing sign of wear and tear with stains and such.

The access to the parks is unbeatable. It was so convenient to walk or take the water taxi. The express passes were a great benefit.||The pool, restaurants, staff were amazing. The hotel was clean, no complaints! ||We stayed in the rock star suit, which was a great place for the kids to relax in their own space between park visits.

What can I say but this hotel was amazing. The rooms were amazing and clean. The proximity to the park was so close also. Only a 5 minute walk and there you were to the front gate of Universal Studios. They have their own security checkpoint so no need to wait in long lines. The water taxi is right there as well so getting to and from the park is no issue. Everyday we had someone clean the room and it was never a mess. The staff was super helpful and willing to assist with any issues. We were there before Hurricane Milton and even had the option of extending our stay to make sure we were safe during the storm. All in all this was an amazing stay at a wonderful hotel. It was a bit more expensive than the value resorts but would gladly spend to stay here again.
