We chose the Hard Rock hotel based on the fact that it was in the Atocha area close to the main museums and parks. We also like the brand and the pool area was a huge plus point that we paid more for compared to other hotels.||The front desk staff were all consistently excellent, welcoming and helpful so no issues there at all.||The room was great so no complaints there either.||Our main issue was the pool area. In reality, the pool is tiny and it’s surrounded by residential flats so it’s fine and it gets the sun some of the day but just so there is realistic expectations. We struggled to find space during the day but it was a busy period. It quietened down after 5ish.||We were there when it was 35+ degree temperatures. There was a shaded part with tables and chairs that was roped off and reserved for the whole four nights we were there and was never used. On our last morning, the rope was back so we sat there for 30 minutes max to get some shade and wait for a taxi. The staff came to tell is it was reserved three times. We said we’d move if anyone came along. Not surprisingly nobody came. Please don’t reserve shaded additonal space in extreme heat if you don’t need to. It’s madness.||Also €17 for just a burger with no fries is also crazy.||In summary I’d stay here again but I wouldn’t pay more than other hotels purely based on the pool area. Probably best to find a cheaper hotel with outside space/a balcony or near the park.

Iconic space to the sound of Hard Rock Café. Rooms with unique architecture in every detail—beautiful, themed, and very detailed. The pool and lounge are excellent for hot days. Nice terrace and great food. Unfortunately, the service falls short: they don’t replenish toiletries from one day to the next, once left a cloth behind, and even moved personal belongings. Not very friendly.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I had booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 5. ||Staff is OUTSTANDING! Funny, friendly, attentive. ||Beds are soooo comfy and great AC which is key in summer.||Food is delicious and fresh. Drinks are cold and tasty.||I brought my dog too and she was the hit of the hotel. They treated her like royalty. ||The location is also fantastic you can walk everywhere!||We will be back!! Gracias por todo Hard Rock Madrid!

We had a truly lovely stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Madrid. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. We were even able to check in early, which was a much-appreciated start to our trip. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a sleek, modern vibe — the whole hotel feels brand new. The A/C worked wonderfully (a must in Madrid’s June heat!), and every detail felt well thought out. Housekeeping did a great job with regular cleanings and turndown service. The rooftop was a highlight — great atmosphere, great views, and 2000s throwback hits playing that instantly set the mood. They even sent up a delicious slice of cheesecake for my husband’s birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. We ordered room service late one evening, and it arrived in under 30 minutes, hot and tasty. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the pool, it looked like a great spot to relax. The gym was small but had everything you’d need for a quick workout. It was empty when I used it and has a great in/out concept. Highly recommend this hotel for a stylish, comfortable stay in Madrid — with a great location.

We had a fantastic weekend with our family! From the start, the service was warm and friendly, making us feel welcome.||The secure on-site parking was a huge plus, especially in a city where parking can be tricky.||Our 6-year-old had a blast at the swimming pool. A big thank you to Alberto, the lifeguard, for making us feel safe while she swam!||Breakfast was a highlight, thanks to Jimena, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Gaelle looked forward to her morning pancakes and coloring with the fun pencils Jimena provided.||Our room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after exploring the city.||We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return again, it truly felt like home!

It's a phenomenal hotel, but the best thing is the customer service. The front desk staff is amazing, especially Sofia, a lovely girl who helps you with anything you need. Ask for her; she's very helpful. The breakfast is very good and the staff who work there are very helpful.

Our stay at Hard Rock was really pleasant! The staff were really helpful and accommodating, ready to answer all our questions and provide recommendations. Special shout to Alejandro and Alberto at the front desk, and also Adrian who took care of our luggages. There are two bars, one in the lobby and one on the rooftop. Drinks are good. We did not have breakfast in the hotel so we can’t comment on that.Room was nice and comfortable, they clean daily. Only thing I didn’t like was the sink was outside the bathroom. Not sure why many people complained about the location. There are PLENTY of cafes, bars, and restaurants within walking distance and all frequented by locals. It’s also just a couple of stops away from Sol station. Here’s a tip, the hotel will tell you that the nearest station is Atocha, but we feel like Lavapies station is much closer and easier to walk to. Lavapies is also only one stop from Sol station - which is the centre. For breakfast, there is a Panaderia right across the road. For lunch or dinner, there’s Bar Argumosa and Orisha restaurant. If you’re okay to walk a bit more, there’s a lovely neighbourhood called Anton Martin with many bars and restaurants too.

Great stay, the reception staff were great and very attentive, particularly Alfonso(I think I've remembered his name) The room its self was great with a very comfortable bed and very quiet aircon. The only thing holding back from perfection was the roof top bar, the service was poor like we were a bit of an inconvenience and the music was offensive and not in keeping with my previous Hard Rock experiences around the world.
