Very popular place serving a wide variety of food. Almost every table was ordering fish and chips and many showed up for pizzas to go on a Friday evening. The place was lively, the service was courteous, and the place is well decorated. We had two wok dishes and fish salad. The fish was pan fried and fresh, but we couldn’t tell the satay or hoisin sauce flavors in our wok dishes. The rice that came with them were a little dried up, too.

We had deep fried fish with sweet and sour sauce, and stir fry pork with oyster sauce. Tad too salty for my liking but overall heartening to have hot asian food away from home.

Such wonderful service. The waitress was so accommodating and helpful and sweet. They helped me pick out a vegan friendly meal and even let me know the fries are fried in the same oil as the fish, very attentive. The food was great, fresh yummy veggies, delicious sauces, and warm fluffy rice.

Amazing place! It had very nice menu and good prices for quite large portitions, also some came with complimentary soup and ice-cream. 🥰 Great deals! And the fish and chips dish was incredible, the best in North Iceland so far. Area and surroundings were very nice, too. Definitely worth a visit :)

Great little place and busy too. You don’t have many other options to eat in the town but we were surprised how much we liked it. I had the fish and chips and my partner had a burger. We both liked it. The staff are lovely as well

Strange blend of every kind of food (Asian, Mexican, American, Icelandic). We ordered the fish and chips and the lunch combo. The fish soup that came with the combo was not good. A strong tomato and even stronger fishy taste to it; did not seem fresh. We did not finish more than a few bites. The fish and chips were alright. French fries were great! The fish pieces didn’t seem fresh and were small.

Our lunch stop over and we had fish and chips. Realised it was more towards asian food. Free flow of soup and very good service. Pretty decent meal that was no expensive.

totally liked this place. do not expect 5 stars Michelin style but in such a little town this mini restaurant is wonderful. cosy atmosphere delicious fish soup. i specifically ordered fish soup after i read a bad review about it where smb was complaining the fish smell and taste was too strong. well i am sure it is a matter if tastes. yes the soup tastes like too much fish because it is fish soup! if you expect to smell like roses or taste like honey u mistook the place. i also read a review where some Americans were complaining about being discriminated. i am Romanian so i specifically mentioned this while talking to the lady waitress. just to check their behaviour. take into account that eastern europeans are mostly treated like second hand citizens almost everywhere in the world. well as a highly discriminated person i can tell that the lady waitress was very natural and normal.she was huge polite and respectful and did not feel any xenophobic reaction.besides, the Americans built icelandic roads when they occupied the iceland (Ausbru base) and Icelanders are highly grateful to the Americans for their investments here. why would smb hate them? so letting aside all the spoiled attitude remember u r in iceland u r in a rustic town remote and quiet. i for one loved their food. if ill ever return here ill definitely eat to them. peace to you all!
