Hardee's

I went to this location for the rizzler meal with 4 friends, safe to say it was one of the most pathetic places i have ever gotten a burger. The bread was untoasted, our sandwiches came with no mayonnaise and the milkshake was as thick as ice cream. The fires however were pretty good, really disappointed.

I had a great experience at Hardee’s thanks to Jeremy. He was friendly, professional, and made the whole visit smooth and welcoming. My order was handled quickly, everything was accurate, and his attitude really stood out. Customer service like this makes a big difference—definitely a reason I’d come back. Thanks, Jeremy!

The entire team was happy, jamming out to great music and working well! And Jeremy was our team member, while taking my order I asked for a recommendation, and was right! It was an amazing burger! This was one of, if not the best fast food experiences I’ve had.

I just wanted to say as someone who doesn't leave reviews much this was my first visit to a Hardees and it was the best! I will most definitely be back. I walked in and felt very welcomed, someone was decorating the tree and it looked beautiful, she said her name was Kandis and directed me to the cashier Alyssa who gave great service and my food was served with a smile by Gary. Great staff and an amazing cook in the back named Ryan. I made sure to tell them I'd be leaving a review for them all and asked for all of their names. 10/10 service!

5 star review for “service” with Jeremy and Danielle at the Middletown location. I attempted to use the app to place an order and experienced an error. I went into this location, explained my issue and they both took great care of me. Gave me the attention I needed and served me with a smile. Thank you!

Sha is the absolute best. Happy to help, accurate taking orders, always tells me and other customers she appreciates us. No offense, but y’all don’t deserve her. She should get a multiple dollar raise. Jeremy is awesome as well. Very professional and accurate taking orders as well. They are the A team and I can tell when they aren’t there. Both deserve raises and I appreciate them. I stood at the counter today for over 5 minutes with a different crew. When someone finally asked me if I was ready to order, the manager (I think) looked confused and said he thought I had already been helped. He would have known if he would have acknowledged me.

Had a great time at Hardee’s today. Was my first time trying this restaurant even though I’ve passed it many times over the years. Restaurant was very clean, food was great and the staff (shout out Gary!) was incredibly helpful - and patient with me asking questions for first experience. Will be coming back!

The staff here was nothing short of amazing! We are from out of town and drove over an hour just to come to Hardee’s. They were patient and kind while we placed our large order, never rushing us, and were incredibly helpful throughout. Excellent service—we truly appreciated it!

My mushroom and Swiss burger was very nice. Restaurant service had done their job well. The ambiance was your every day fast food environment, which I can't complain about but the restaurant was very clean though. I'd give this place a 9/10 and I would recommend this place to anyone new in Middletown.

Had one of their fish sandwiches. The pictures were quite appetizing but the reality is the fish is microscopic in comparison to the pictures.

Traveling with family decided to stop in for a bite. I was totally surprised 1st off how clean this establishment was. From the bathroom to the dining area. Each employee was well versed on menu items. The food was hot and prepared clean (meaning proper food handling, as well as uniform preparation). This location was given 4 out of 5 stars due to my only complaint. The fries were over salty that was okay. I did not need them anyway lol.

I was able to convince my wife to run out and grab some late night dinner at Hardee's. She ordered a #1 with just ketchup, lettuce and cheese only. Repeated her order again to emphasize only those toppings. Once she got home with the food she realized that they completely disregarded her request and made the burger with everything on it (ketchup, slathered with mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions). Completely ruined her dinner. Being that she was the only one in the drive thru (probably all day) it was just absolutely disappointing knowing that they had no care for service and comprehension skills. No need to spend money there again.

Disgusting I would not the manger claims she was training a new employee and messed a simple order up I would never. Burger not even eatable very nasty manger.

Honestly, this place isn't too bad; the management and staff are pretty friendly, and they often do a solid job with the food quality, but I will openly admit there are a couple of reasons I can't give this place higher than a 3/5. The first is that they have trouble getting your order right sometimes. They usually just forget to remove what you want from it, with them most often doing this with their cheaper burgers. The bigger problem though is when they forget to give you an item. I've recently had them forget an item I paid for, which was rather irksome. The other problem is there are uncommon, but still something you will have happen at least once in a while cases of low quality control. This is mainly in certain condiments or spreads for their sandwich. Sometimes you can have a Frisco Burger or Garlic Burger with too much mayo or onion spread. Compared to most of the Middletown fast food area; it's a cut above the norm. But it has some issues to take care of.

Your chicken sandwich looks like nothing like the commercial. The bun is bigger then the chicken all together. Idk how y'all even get business lol

This is the closest Hardee's restaurant to home so I'm glad it's a pretty decent one. It is one of a row of restaurants along Route 299 but it has its own parking lot. The dining area was clean and rather spacious with some large booths. The food arrived at my table hot and freshly prepared. As in many Hardee's, they bring the food to you if it isn't ready immediately. Also, the beverage bar was well-stocked with iced tea, which is always a plus. Get coupons from the current promotion at hardees.com before you go.

It's one thing after another here first time going through the drive through they didn't give me everything I ordered wife was in a hurry so we left without her part of the order... second time there I ordered a cowboy burger to only be told after paying they didn't have bacon, no offer to replace for another item or a partial refund as this burger is much more expensive than the one without bacon again let this slide shame on me at this point... 4 or more other times went at 8:15pm get to the order spot to be told their grill was down for maintenance and on another occasion told everything is down and only drinks could be ordered... This place closes at 10pm so it's not like I'm going at the last minute but I work until 8pm, it's clear to me that the employees at this location decide that they are done working after a certain time, not sure what time exactly but my guess is 8pm since every time I've been there past 8pm I was informed the only thing I could purchase was fries and drinks, obviously I left every time with out purchasing anything but it's very disappointing because I really do like the cowboy burger, that is when I'm actually allowed to purchase one... management needs to either educate/discipline the associates working at night or find a replacement for them as it is obvious that they are purposely shutting down all cooking after 8pm at the latest, this is a failing business model and with very poor customer service and based on other reviews it appears this place will be out of business sooner than later

The food was extremely cold! We asked for NO ONIONS on 2 burgers, and both burgers had onions. They couldn't even get the drink request correct. The employee had to get us to repeat it again, once we pulled up to the window. There were no other customers there. Therefore, fries and everything else should have been freshly made to order.

My wife and I had to stop here on our way to Maryland and I had never been to this chain before. I went with the number 15 which is the double cheeseburger and spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was actually very good and I was surprised about that, the burger was mediocre but I don't expect the best burgers in the world from chains like these. What I liked best was the staff that was working was great. Very nice people and they were very attentive to us while we ate there. Where I live we don't have this chain but I would absolutely stop at this location again based on the level of service we received. Thank you again

Never again. This place is the pits. It doesn't get any worse than this in Middletown fast food. Tonight was the last straw. 27 minutes for a dinner order at 7:50 pm. And of course the order was incorrect when finally handed to me. This was via the drive thru. First the drinks were forgotten. Then they had to go back to get me fries. Then finally the taco they didn't put in the bag. And the teenager at the window handling the order? Oh, he thought it was a riot. The food is lousy here but management is the real joke. They're nowhere to be found. And if you contact the name on the receipt you get a form letter with a coupon for a free burger. Not worth it. Eat anywhere else.

Went to Hardee's after getting a coupon in the mail. I don't normally travel down thru center of town. I arrived in the Drive Thru and placed order. Arrived at the window and was handed a dripping soda! Waited a couple minutes for food. Worker gave me a folded bag of food with my receipt on it. I drove away and stopped to look in bag before turning left. 6 napkins cover the wrong sandwich and fries. I had ordered two 1/4 lb Thickburgers. Drive back and park the truck, I walk in and there is no one in the restaurant, but 5 to 7 Workers milling about. Several turned my way and one held up another bag. They apologized, I walked out disappointed. I opened the bag to eat one of them, NO NAPKINS! Not sure how they burnt only the edges of the both Burgers? The Bun is TOO big for this size patty. Sad....

Check your order carefully if you are carrying out or doing the drive-thru. My mistake for not checking and we were missing several items. But the food we did get was delicious!

Terrible! Who is running this place? The three stooges! Worst service ever! How do you not charge me for something then come after me for it? Training is right out the window here. Stay clear

This Hardee's is probably the worst in the state. I attempted to stop here again after having issues with my order every single time. I figured I would give them a chance to redeem themselves. Nope. I asked for a #6 plain. Instead I get something else, with mayo on it. After driving back there, ready to throw it in their faces (literally) the gf goes in and they replace it, take the receipt, and wouldn't give it back. Stay away from this location. There's plenty around now.

I've stopped here 3 times in the last year and my service was nothing like those listed below. I got a delicious heart attack on a bun and everything was great. I will visit again and again and again.. BEST FAST FOOD IF YOU ASK ME

worst service ever 25 minutes to get lunch order incorrect , the management poorly trained . The staff poorly trained restaurants dirty and sticky definitely stay away from

Stopped in about 4 o'clock in the afternoon today, on a Sunday. There was one couple in the restaurant. My wife ordered a burger specifically emphacizing no ketchup. We weren give a number tag to place on our table. We walked around and had to pick the least dirtiest table as no clean tables were available in the entire restaurant? I left to go to the bathroom which was cleaner than the dining room. Afterwards I stopped by to get ketchup and the pump gave up one paper cup of ketchup before going dry. Went by a dirty table and picked up a handfuil of ketchup packs for my fries. My wife had the tray of our food at the table a worker had brought to her. She showed me her burger dripping with ketchup. She returned it for one without ketchup. My fries were luke warm as was my burger. There was one family that came in and seated themselves. I cant understand why this place was in this condition and served sub standard food when it was all but empty? I know that I will never return to this location.

A positive experience at the Middletown Hardees. I'm partial to their chicken tenders and this store delivered. It's early Tuesday afternoon and I'm their only in-store customer. No wait to order (duh) and my tenders & fries box was brought out to me in short order. Food was hot and good! The entire floor had just been washed, the table tops were all clean, and the beverage bar was stocked with lemon wedges for my iced tea. Bathroom was clean, too. A few cars used the drive-thru during my visit. There's a high school across the road, so things probably get busy later in the day. Will revisit next time I'm in M'town.

My husband ate there today 10/1/15 and has on several occasions, and trust me he does not pay compliments on restaurants very often, so when he told me the employees at the Middletown, DE Hardee's are very courteous and respectful, and friendly. He was happy when he left about the service, and he eats fast food all week due to his job. Kudos!! to these employees for impressing my husband. Joyce P

2nd time here. Drive through is beyond slow the quality of the food poor anywhere but here.

This hardee's is a disaster. I took my 2 boys in there for shakes after school and it took over 15 minutes to get them. I was the only one and the store except for someone filling out a job application. Your immediate impression is seedy employees and no management present. The empty parking lot should have been my clue in. You've been warned.

OMG THIS PLACE SUCKS. I have never seen a restaurant so incompetent at doing the most basic meals a fast food "restaurant" can have I prdered a chicken biscuit sandwich which should be very basic to create. Instead when I got the sand which the biscuit was very burnt. How hard is it to make biscuits that aren't burnt. On top of that the chicken was the worst chicken I have ever tasted. It tasted like McDonald's chicken sandwich without any of the spice to help remove the taste. The service was even worse. Even though we were the only people there it still took forever to get our "food". The drive through guy almost forgot to give us our credit card back. While we were waiting he yelled back into the room telling an employee to not turn something on. This is a sign of very terrible management. Even if the only other option is Burger King make sure you never come to a Hardee's if you enjoy happiness and good food that doesn't almost give you a heart attack
