Hare Nua Hotel Boutique is a great choice for your Easter Island stay. I read that four nights on Easter Island were too many, so I decided to go for six. After reading many reviews, I settled on Hare Nua. Six nights in one room were not available for my dates, so I ended up in superior room #9 for the first three nights and deluxe room #17 for the second three. The only issue with #9 is the walkway outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, but there was minimal traffic on it. There is a small table with chairs on the walkway which is a pleasant place to sit. The room is otherwise completely comfortable and quiet. It also has a fridge, which is good in the land of enormous portions. Room #17 is a bit more modern than #9, and it is bigger with a bigger bathroom. Room #17 has a balcony that fronts on a street that meant a little traffic noise. My tour-scheduling mistake meant that I added two more nights, and Hare Nua was able to accommodate me in their last available room both nights. Night seven was spent in family room #14 in the same hallway as #17 but fronting on the courtyard. There was a bit of a sea view when standing on the balcony. No fridge in #17 or #14. With the stay in the family room, I had tried all room types! The last night was back in comfy room #9. All of the rooms are very attractively decorated and are so clean. The housekeeping is excellent. There are signs saying that the linens are changed every three days for sustainability, but the towels are changed daily. The generous plated breakfast is amazing with such variety. And the hotel can arrange a number of tours. The guides on the ones I took were outstanding. The hotel itself is great, but the real strength of Hare Nua is the people working there. Everyone is friendly and kind, and they are all good at their jobs. I owe a special thanks to Patricia who took extra good care of me.

Hare Nua Boutique Hotel — a grandmother’s home that brings warmth, friendliness, and a true feeling of being at home. The owner has done a fantastic job with this hotel. From the moment I stepped into this hotel, I was captivated by its cozy atmosphere and beautiful décor. We were welcomed by the lovely Vania, always wearing a warm smile. Along with a small treat, she shared the story of the grandmother behind the hotel. Every day, breakfast was exquisitely prepared with great care and attention, and the rooms were both beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Easter Island.

I recently stayed for 5 days at Hare Nua & it was by far the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a personalized sign, snacks, and an amazing story about the hotel’s history. I had no idea what to expect from the breakfast, and was stunned to find my own table set up every morning with a huge variety. They booked private tours for me, arranged my airport transfers & treated me with so much kindness throughout my stay!! The location is perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough, especially for my solo female travelers!

Hare Nua Boutique Hotel is truly a 5‑star gem on Rapa Nui. Breakfast was excellent, offering a continental spread with eggs made to order. The staff were attentive, polite, and spoke excellent English, which made everything smooth and welcoming.|Conveniently, just 25 meters away there’s a supermarket—perfect for picking up essentials. We had read that the island could be expensive, but to our surprise wine was actually cheaper at the supermarket than at duty free, so there was no need to worry about buying it at the airport.|The location is ideal: everything is within walking distance, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. We even walked from the airport ourselves—just two streets, about 1 km, and only 12 minutes with suitcases.|We stayed in a superior room with a king bed which was very comfortable and the room was big enough for us travelling with 2 large suitcases. The room was also very clean.|Overall, Hare Nua Boutique Hotel combines comfort, convenience, and outstanding service, making it an excellent choice for anyone visiting Rapa Nui.

Great contact before we arrived regarding tours and facilities. A friendlier welcome you will not find anywhere, all the staff were so genuine and so helpful. Welcome drink and snack was so appreciated. The room on the upper level was beautifully decorated, air con a must as it was still humid, great shower and bathroom, slept so well every night. Breakfast was delicious, eggs cooked to order. The worst part was having to say goodbye, if we ever come back to Rapa Nui, we wouldn’t even think about staying anywhere else, thank you for making our stay so memorable, you are all amazing

This is a great place to stay in Rapa Nui. Lovely clean and fresh hotel, great for lone travellers. Staff are friendly and speak perfect English. A family run hotel, the owner is keeping his pledge to his great grandmother to offer top class accommodation for people who are visiting Rapa Nui, and I can say his forebears would be proud. Our room had Aircon and the beds were super comfortable. Look out for the moa in the butter when you get breakfast.

Hare Nua was the perfect place to stay during my solo trip to Rapa Nui. The staff is so warm and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and made me feel right at home. The bed was comfortable and they have blackout blinds for a good nights rest. Location is walking distance to everything, and just 4 min drive from the airport. The hotel is quiet, however the island has roosters everywhere so bring earplugs lol.

What a wonderful and lovely hotel! We were welcomed with a tasty local made desert. Rooms were roomy, clean and comfy. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious. My favorite part was all the open air sitting areas to enjoy! I highly recommend staying at Hare Nua, can not find a more welcoming and friendly spot!!
