Hari Niwas Palace

Extremely Disappointed with the Service at Hari Niwas Visited Hari Niwas for lunch recently and was shocked by the appalling service. We stood waiting for over 15 minutes, yet not a single staff member acknowledged us. Despite trying to get their attention, we were completely ignored. The manager, instead of addressing guests or ensuring service, wandered around aimlessly without a care. Save your time and money—there are far better places to dine. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Once a royal residence and now a heritage hotel, this palace provides grand services to its guests. Close to the city center shopping and sightseeing in the nearby tourist spots is convenient.

Mr. Vishal at the front office was welcoming and ensured everything was handled smoothly during our check-in. Mr. Vinay from the restaurant staff was attentive and made sure we were comfortable during every meal — the food was delicious, especially the local dishes. Mr. Sharik also stood out with his helpful and positive attitude, always ready to assist with a smile. The overall experience was fantastic — calm, comfortable, and full of personal touches. I would highly recommend Hari Niwas Palace to anyone visiting Jammu who wants a royal yet homely experience.

Mr. Vinay from the F&B team impressed us with his excellent service and attention to detail during our meals. And a special mention to Mr. Sanjay at the bar — his friendly nature and great drink recommendations made our evenings memorable. It’s rare to meet someone so dedicated and passionate about guest service — he is truly an asset to the hotel. Mr. Viney from the F&B team also deserves special mention. He ensured that our dining experience was excellent, serving delicious food with great care and attention. When we think to go out for a dinner lunch the Hari Niwas palace is our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the desert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding. Especially the team F&B they are very knowledgeable very welcoming they always give us the best experience everything was outstanding, outstanding location Good staff good food 🫰🫰🫰

I had a great stay at Hiri Nivas! The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, helpful, and made sure everything was taken care of. It’s a peaceful place and perfect for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend it.
