look, i realise that if you do not have a Tiny Human in your life, a park with all the stuff i'm about to talk about will not necessarily be a 4-star experience for you (but then i'm not sure why you would be Yelping for parks in the first place, unless you like to be outside on your lunch break...oh right, that was me before Tiny Human anyway.)
this newly-remodeled neighbourhood park is fantastic for the littles. there are plenty of shady areas and comfy benches too, although since they all surround the play area, it's not exactly the best spot to quietly read your novel on your lunch break.
this park is clean, and what i mean by that is the sand is not full of trash or cigarette butts, and the play structure is brand spankin'new. it's great -- really nicely thought-out, with something for all ages 0-probably 10. it's all rubber under the play structure, which is hugely preferable to bark, mulch, or sand. the sand play area is nicely set apart from the play structure. and yes, there are both "big kid" and "baby" swings.
no bathroom but there is a water fountain. if your Tiny Human is out of dipes, make sure you potty before coming here.
the times we've gone, it's been mostly other families and a few people just enjoying the SoCal warmth. no creepy vibe. i like that it's set within a neighbourhood so that you have to know it's there. very little traffic going by.
