Outstanding service. The Chicken is always piping hot and fresh. Ordering takes about 15 minutes. They have also set up cameras so you can see your meal being prepared. I will never again go to another chicken place in the area. They also have lunch specials from 10am-4pm, Monday through Saturday.

worst experience ever. long wait, bland dry chicken, somewhat over cooked, no sides of sauce so the tiny bit they put on was it, which you didn’t get any flavor from, and the long wait was fine until it seemed our food had been sitting for quite awhile before we got it. was recommended from someone who used to live in chicago but that was the worst chicken spot experience i’ve ever had.

This was my first time in Chicago and got the idea to come here after watching SouthSide tv show. I had high expectations but those were shattered. I ordered thru the online app which was simple, I ordered the 18 wings and fries with sauce smothered on them for $35 and I ordered a dark 2 piece meal. When I came to pick the food up there was a line which was good. I told the lady my order number and she gave me the food. When I got back to the hotel I checked my food and the chicken was overcooked and she gave me a 2 piece white chicken meal. I tried to call the store to let them know and no one answered. I looked at the reviews for this place and saw that similar issues happened with customers. I wish I could give them zero stars. Don't waste your time here.

I saw the multiple 1 star reviews. I ignored them and decided to give them chance anyway and they disappointed me. SERVICE: 0/10 I made an order online and it took over 30 minutes and was never acknowledged. Ultimately it was cancelled and no reason was ever provided. Disappointing. PROBABILITY OF RETURN: 0/10 I gave them 1 chance despite the bad reviews. I have come to realize that they deserve them. OVERALL: 0/10

Roughly about a week ago a friend suggested that I try the lunch specials at this newly opened location. I did and it was very good, and at a cost of six dollars; it was a great value. The meal included a freshly fried chicken breast, fries, slice of bread and a choice of soda. Okay, so a week went by and I decided that to once again enjoy the lunch special (9/28/20). I attempted to call and place an order for about a good 20 minutes and no one picked up the phone?!? So I just gave up and ate food from a different business. Well Monday rolls around and I decided to try again. After a couple of attempts someone picked up! I place my order and 20 minutes later show up to pick it up. One woman was ahead of me. As I waited I could not help to notice that the cashier adjusted his crotch with his hand?!!? The same hand he was giving change with and handing out bags of food with (gross!). Then came my turn in front of the line, as the cashier was looking at his phone, not me the customer, he in a rude voice tone asked what I would like to order. I then explained that I was picking up a phoned in order. He then proceeded to retrieve my already bagged up order then take my requested sodas out of the fridge and hand them to me. I then asked if I could have a separate bag for the cold sodas. He he rudely grabbed the sodas and threw them in the same bag that my hot food was in! At this point I had enough, I just wanted to get out of this rude predicament! How was my second meal from this place? It did not match up to my first meal from here. The chicken breast tasted as if yesterday's leftovers were refried! Oh yes I can tell the difference. Freshly fried chicken is hot and juicey. What I was given this time was hot and dry and had weird shaped battering from being rebattered and fried again! Management might want to consider donating leftover food to food banks and writing off the value of the donated meals and absolutely not reselling previously cooked food! This place is new and has not built up a regular clientele. Its located in the west loop where competition for your lunch time dollars is tough. I could have gone anywhere else and been made to feel welcomed. Instead I decided to support this new business. Well after this instance, one thing is for sure, I will never ever return to this location. As the saying goes; first impression is the most lasting.

Where to start...99% of the time they don't answer the phone. The 1% that they do requires several calls. Ordered online today, they took my money but when I got to the store it was closed. They really don't deserve to be in business like most Harold Chicken stores. Great chicken but customer service is the worse I have ever encountered in my 57 years of life. That includes every one I've ever been to except Hyde Park in Kimbark Plaza.

Ghetto. Ghetto. Ghetto. I ordered 50 wings with fries, bread and coleslaw. I received 50 wings and nothing else. Apparent coleslaw is illegal due to COVID. The chicken I received isn't cooked. I called the restaurant and requested new chicken. They refused demanding the old chicken to take back to look at to take the chicken back to the restaurant, inspect in and then decide weather or not to send send me new chicken instead of trading pans as I originally suggested. Fortunately Uber eats gave me a full refund. There are plenty of other restaurants and other Harold's location. Don't waste your time with this one. It won't be around long.
