We had a very good experience here with my partner. All the staff were very accommodating. They proactively offered what they think is best for their guests. They even had our room upgraded because of the incovenience we had with our previous room. Also their breakfast is good, offers distinguished menus, and one of their staff namely Maica always makes sure were settled every bfast. Even their IT staff helped us sort the conncection of our tv to laptop, enabling us to watch our own movies. Overall, it was a great experience. Will definitely come back in here! Highly recommended.

had such a great stay at Harolds Hotel Cebu City! The guestrooms are really nice — clean, comfortable, and modern, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The food is also delicious, from breakfast to dinner, and there’s a good variety to choose from. But what I love the most is their roofdeck bar — it’s definitely my favorite spot! The view of the city is amazing, the ambiance is perfect, and the drinks are great. It’s such a nice place to unwind after a long day.

Harold’s Hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations! The rooms are large, spotless, and so comfortable—and the customer service is truly on another level. The rooftop restaurant alone, with its spectacular city views, is worth the stay! My family and I spent an extended vacation here for the first time, and we were genuinely blown away by the warmth and professionalism of the entire team. Sharla at check-in was wonderfully patient as I searched for my confirmation number, and the IT manager went above and beyond to personally help me set up the WiFi. We also met Wen, the hotel consultant, who made us feel instantly at home and sincerely cared about our experience. And I was especially impressed when Christine Tracy Luis, the Front Office Manager, followed up later to make sure our stay was comfortable and to see if we needed anything else—such thoughtful service! Dining at Harold’s was another highlight. Whether in the main restaurant or up on the rooftop, Pilsken, Lika, Katrina, Jason, and Dave made every meal feel like a VIP experience. The doormen—Ruffort and his team—were always ready with a warm greeting and helped us with bags and transportation every single day. And a huge thank-you to Aileen, Sheila, and Margorie for keeping our room sparkling clean and even surprising us with snacks! One of the most memorable moments of our stay was my nephew’s rooftop birthday dinner. Karla, Nilo, and Mika planned everything so beautifully—even arranging a live band! It was magical. If you’re thinking about staying at Harold’s Hotel or hosting an event here, I can’t recommend them highly enough. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories—this hotel truly goes above and beyond!

The staff here is exceptional—warm, attentive, and consistently helpful to guests. Big shoutout to the front desk and to Ms. Tracy! I stayed for a week, right after Typhoons Tino and Uwan. Even amid the post-typhoon busyness, they managed to accommodate my special requests before my arrival. So accommodating, prompt, and thoughtful. Extra kudos for letting non-guests charge devices during the citywide power outage. Location’s a plus, too—walking distance from Ayala IT Park and even a House of Lechon branch.

After a stressful journey and a bad experience at a previous hotel, arriving at Harolds Hotel was an immediate relief. The fast check-in and the compassionate lady receptionist who helped us on November 9th immediately sensed our stress and assigned us a wonderful room. Our top-floor room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering a stunning panoramic view of Cebu. From the porter to the restaurant staff, every single employee was friendly, professional, and genuinely warm. A special thank you to Maica, who offered instant "therapy" by listening to my frustrations—her kindness truly made a difference. My partner declared this the best hotel we've stayed in! The exceptional breakfast selection was a highlight, especially the perfect scrambled eggs cooked by Sheila, who always greeted us with a smile. This hotel is a gem: peaceful, quiet, with great amenities and easy access to transportation and local establishments. Highly recommended!

I wasn’t expecting much, but it surprised me how attentive the crews have been. They catered us in a way where we felt very comfortable during our meal. The supervisor, Plisken, has been nothing but supportive when we requested for a little cake and a happy birthday song for our friend, together with his colleagues, Dave and Jansen.

This is a 3 star hotel, at most. The hotel doesn’t have any warmth or charm. Facilities look worn out. The breakfast buffet is horrible, barely edible. The towels are worn out and almost grey (not white). The flush is not working properly. The plug in the shower area drain is stock. Will not stay here again.

The staff are very accommodating especially: Sir Pliskeli, Ms. Maica, and Sir Jansen. The food is delicious and hopefully there will be a lot of variety. The sushi rice is a bit dry but tolerable. Overall, the experience is great!

Yelp
When you are in Cebu together with your husband, things changed. All of a sudden you can't stay on the apartment where your family stayed. And the solution? Book a hotel and hope for the best! Stayed 4-days and it's not all pretty experience. This is suppose to be a business hotel but things messed up. I get it, they just hit by typhoon Odette and not everything worked properly but how come other budget hotels able to cope up and resume operations in a normal state. - Wi-Fi ain't working properly - no hot water during nighttime - flushing toilet is a challenge as it takes time to refill water - no butter nor American dish on their buffet - no full fridge, only chiller - windows locked, you can't open it For the price and for a business hotel like this, they should probably need to work their Wi-Fi connectivity. Seems like they don't double check the room before they stick their guests. All the issues we encountered are real hassle especially if you're doing your bookkeeping. PS: didn't switch other hotel as this is a non-refundable one (we booked it through Booking). Other than that the hotel staffs were so wonderful & they were so accommodating to us. But, save yourself from all the issues they got here. As possible, check the room before finalizing your check-in and payment! Find better hotels around that don't do false advertisement. Mahalo for reading & happy juandering fellow yeeps!

Yelp
This review is for their restaurant inside Harold's Hotel: H Cafe: We decided to try out H Cafe's buffet (located inside Harold's Hotel) for dinner on a Thursday night. Harold's Hotel is located on Gorordo Ave. and C. Rosal St. in Cebu City. You will see a BPI Branch across the street and a Nuat Thai 24 Hour massage branch catty corner from the hotel. Anywho, I called to check on pricing and they indicated it would be 568 pesos per adult. Sounded good to me. We arrived around 6 to 6:30 pm and parked right up front. When you enter the hotel the restaurant is directly to the right. We were seated promptly, a party of 6. At first glance, I felt they didn't offer a wide range of variety. However, even if the selection was not vast, the quality of their food made me forget that. I enjoyed everything. Everything from the salad to the table-served crispy pork was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The desserts tasted good. The dinner rolls and the bread platter they served were all delicious. Service was impeccable. Very quick and aimed to please. Superb! I couldn't ask for a better service. Ambiance was on point. Quiet and peaceful as if I were dining at an exclusive upscale restaurant. Perfect! Overall, I would frequent this buffet. I don't know if we just got lucky because it was a weekday but if they keep this up my family and I will keep coming back, whether for special occasions or just a meal on the fly. For the price I felt we got more than we asked for. Quality food served hot. Service was great. Just an fyi though alcoholic beverages and tea are not included in the price. They do offer coffee, water, and juice with the price.

Yelp
Stayed here over the weekend during our trip to Cebu. Therr are many positives to this hotel. Such as the elegant entrance into the hotel. A nice use of a small space. They have very helpful and patient staff, starting with the people who opens the car doors to the people who open the front doors to the desk, to those at the eating area and deck. Everyone throughout is helpful and friendly, really elevating the experience. Also they greet u at the front desk with a cold ginger drink which was refreshing. They served complimentary breakfast for us, but lunch and dinner there is a fee. For breakfast their is a large variety of choices to choose from, from hot foosds, pastries, to someone cooking hot food items. Their coffee here tastes good as well. In regards to the room, it was quite spacious and comfortable. The beds we had were 2 full size beds that were firm and comfortable. The ac worked well. And the rooms were quiet. I really enjoyed the upper deck. Where they serve drinks and meals as well as appetizers. Its divided to a smoking area and a nonsmoking area. The breeze felt great. And the vibe and lighting was nice. At 9pm they had a live band which was nice to listen to. Their alcoholic drinks were also good, not to mention cheap compared to American standards. I had 3 drinks and it was less than 10 USD. If it ended there i wouldve given them 5 stars. But the things I did not like cannot be overlooked, such as: 1. We had 3 rooms reserved when we checked in. They were on 3 different floors. And our key card only alliwed us access to the floor our room is on which was highly inconvenient. I understand the premise of safety and all but dude, u knew we were coming, couldn't put us in the same floor?.... also they only gave us 1 key card. But there were 2 of us. And u require a card in the wall to have the lights and ac running. We had to ask for another key card which was, inconvenient. 2. They wouldn't let us have a late check out without an added fee, which is like why? Other hotels let us do that. 3. The shower/bathroom needs improving. I just didnt like the function of the shower. Its hard not to get wet when turning on the shower. And why r the light switches outside of the bathroom? 4. Upon checkout. They checked the room and said we took a face towel because there was only 1 in there. Why would we take a face towel? How about they only gave us 1? I didnt like their insinuation. If it werent for those 4 things this wouldve been a solid 5 star review. But it was a nice stay nonetheless.

Yelp
What's not to like about Harolds? This cozy hotel has comfortable beds, is well-appointed enough, nice bathroom, very decent internet, and is pretty much accessible to and from anywhere in Cebu City. The staff of Harolds was more than helpful; when I had a bit of a problem connecting to my room's internet, they practically bent over backwards to fix my problem. I mean, they were calling every ten minutes, updating me and stuff until the problem was rectified. That is something else. I don't know if this is a Cebu thing, but the dining options in Harolds were almost criminally cheap. My complimentary breakfast buffet, for example, would go for P350 on retail. For what I got out of that, it was almost too cheap. Good, solid food choices, and that juice bar was something else. One comment, though. Could Harolds at least try to come up with a more unique logo? Their logo is a rip-off of Harrods. Ano ba.

Yelp
This review is for their breakast buffet only @350 pesos, I'm not sure if its a good deal or not. But I had to give it a try, since today is a special day for me. Overall not bad, I liked the congee and century egg offering as well as the egg white only omelet with selection of toppings.

Yelp
(I'm American) This is my favorite, by far, of the 4 hotels I've stayed in Cebu. Very kind and accommodating staff! Great variety of food. The amenities are what I'm used to back home. I can fully relax here when I'm not running around the city.
