Harris Piano Jazz Bar

Fantastic bar, one of the best and one of the friendliest customer service. Instantly you feel welcomed, attended and understood. The ambience is cozy, very reminiscent of Liverpool underground bars. Great selection of drinks and a splendid wine list. Convenient location and generally reasonable price points. Would I come here again? If I ever visit Krakow certainly, it’s a must-go for any tourist I’d argue.

Harris Piano Jazz Bar is one of the restaurants that encircle the old town square. Lots of seating on the patio with patio umbrellas. I think all of the restaurants here have the same style service.. staff tired of tourists.. but this place served us very quickly and the food was very good. the seating is great as it allows you to take in the atmosphere of the area. We did enjoy the experience here.

Great little jazz bar. Visited twice during our trip. The music on both visits was very good. It's pretty small here, so either get in early or book to get the best seats. We had pizza on our second visit, which was really good. Service was also good.

Amazing Jazz Bar with Great Atmosphere! I had an incredible time at this jazz bar! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with dim lighting and a cozy vibe that makes you feel right at home. Lovely underground jazz club. Excellent pizza and beer. Great live music. Just a pity the pre gig entertainment was AI generated music and visuals on TV screens. Why can't they screen footage of real musicians? Such a wasted opportunity.

Excellent events in a tiny space and always the best musicians. If you want to listen to fantastic jazz music live, make your reservation ahead, the place is really small, but that's what makes the concerts so special

My absolutely favourite music club in the Cracow city center! It's an authentic cult place, since "It is the only club in Poland and the second club in Europe, where there are authorial jazz concerts every day" (source: https://harris.krakow.pl/en/o-nas/). The place has its own charisma: book a table in the concert room, and dedicate one full evening to enjoy quality live music with inspired jazz artists. Fully recommended!

I am not a huge fan of jazz, but my friend wanted to come and check it out. We sat close, but then again it's a cozy bar, so all seats are fairly close to the stage. We didn't eat, just came for cocktails and beers. It was a casual and laid back spot, but highly popular with a lot of guests, not locals. Still not a bad night out. Music was fine, drinks and company was all good.

This place was rated high on TripAdvisor so we gave it a try. It was fun and the jazz music was pretty good. It is touristy though as it's right off of the main town square. I reserved a table in advance but had to pay 30 Zloty each to sit. The band was from NYC which seems silly but they were good. The drinks were decent. The crowd was fun & mingly. It's not a bad place to go to have a good time but it's not the best either.

A great restaurant on the main square. The food is tasty, waiters are friendly, and meals are reasonably priced. We were able to get a table outside and watch the sunset over the square, which was beautiful. A great option for food in an area that's often crowded and over-priced.

My partner and I went to Harris Piano Jazz Bar while we were staying in Krakow, and overall, I really enjoyed the live jazz here. And even though it's on the main square, the place was full of locals coming to listen to the music. Our hotel recommended this bar, but we didn't know if it was just because it was very close or because it was actually a great place to grab a drink. We arrived in the middle of a live music set, and the place was packed. The live music venue is almost like a grotto, and they're only about 30 or 40 seats available. However, even if you're not able to watch it live, throughout the bar they have sound and TVs playing the live music. The drinks are relatively cheap here, and they have house red and white wines which are perfectly enjoyable. The bartenders deftly handled all of us English speakers, and the vibe was very convivial and fun. Of course, bars are always about the people you meet there, so you can never be sure, but overall, I had a great time at Harris Piano Jazz Bar and there's a lot of fun to be had there.

Really good calzone style sandwiches. Sun dried tomato one was a big hit! Great spot right on the square

Wow. I don't like jazz music too much. But I can listen it from time to time. But my sister prefere live music. So we came there. Entrance cost 30zl per person. It was hard to write a review because WiFi was in one room only and no mobile network signal. Kitchen didn't work. And it was only 11pm. Is there something else? Ah, music was horrible. Out of rhythm. Too loud. So horrible that I took took video. Sorry, but it's one star only.

I like that bar! Daily Jazz event, relaxed and not overstyled. Good Vodka served and fair prices.

Sat down, ordered drinks. We ordered margaritas and waited 10 minutes. The regular marg tasted like blended ice cubes. I explained to the waitress and she brought out one that was exactly the same. We all ordered the funky burger and waited at least 45 minutes. The patty itself was very bland and too soft in a weird way. The cheese mixed in with the sauce was not a good idea. All of the veggies on the plate were wilted and warm. Service was slow and not very friendly.

I had a few friends come to visit and I took them to Harris Piano bar as a treat. Wasn't the treat I expected however as I was charged almost double for my drinks because I spoke English. My wife who is Polish went and got charged half of what I paid. I ordered another round of drinks just to make sure that it wasn't just a mistake. I was charged double again. I asked the guy at the bar why he charged me double and he just smiled, my wife also asked him in Polish so as there was no misunderstanding however he just stood and smiled knowing that he had ripped me off. I told him that I would be reviewing his bar. If you are a foreigner, you'll get ripped off, if you have a Polish friend with you get them to order your drinks.

I went to this bar on my first trip to Krakow in 2012. Great music, nice atmosphere. Now that I have read they rip off English speaking customers, by charging double for drinks, i will be in bitch mode in April and DARE this to happen ! Go ahead, make my day..
