"Harrison's Cave Located in the center of Barbados inthehighlands, the Harrison's Cave underground system of rivers and caves is one of the Caribbean’s great natural wonders. Visitors tour deep inside the crystallized limestone caverns via small electric tramcars and are allowed to get off at certain points, including ata 15-meter-high (50-foot) "cathedral" and a"village" with multiplestalagmite columns. Lights illuminate the waterfalls, pools and magnificent geological formations."

We visited here on a shore excursion from our cruise. The electric tram is an amazing way to get to visit the cave. We also had the opportunity to get off the tram twice to take photos. Really engaging and knowledgeable tour guide. Afterwards we did the nature trail which had some amazing plants and trees. Highly recommend !

Harrison's Cave experience was fantastic. Our EV Tram driver Andre showed us around. Each trip has a max of 32 seats to fill. They of course don't really wait for seats to fill and have timed departures. Overall trip time is ~25 mins. Plenty to see and in that time. You can also take the trail by foot, but we had much younger kids with us so preferred the EV route. I recommend purchasing the tickets online and if you are renting/driving, there are ample parking spots here. We didn't really try any snacks or refreshments after our tour, but you do have the option of getting drinks + food at in their courtyard facing the cave entrance in a very peaceful and quiet ambiance. The tour takes you really close to some of natures amazing formation, and in return, all the team asks that you don't touch any of the Stalagmites and Stalactites as their formations are disturbed by our skin oils - something that a specific ethnicity of tourists just couldn't understand which was very frustrating. The team was about to cut short our tour after this group touched artifacts twice - pretty shameless people too. Shout out to Andre for maintaining his cool and continuing the tour.

Informational and majestic for the whole family! This team ride is spectacular, accessible and the cave itself is huge and impressive. Our family does a lot of adventurous spelunking and was skeptical about the “ride” aspect of this cave tour but we were able to see many rooms and halls in a short time. Be ready for it to take a long time… don’t rush. We were booked for 2 pm and the kids did Zipline before and we didn’t get on the tram until 3:45 maybe. They show 2 informational videos before: one about Barbados and one about the cave. Our tour guide was funny and informative. You stop at two points where you are able to get out and look (don’t touch). I hiked the nature trail while kids ziplined (which they loved)! The trail and aviary are FREE, do not pay extra for that. They have a small cafe downstairs by tram area that closed between 3:30-4:30 while we were on tram. Some people were aggravated about things taking longer so wear your patient pants and have fun.

This was my first time back to Harrison’s Cave since the renovations with all the Adventure Park features, and I absolutely loved it! I did the cave tour again—nothing had changed much from previous visits, but it was still beautiful and enjoyable. My absolute favorite part was the bird sanctuary. The guide in charge of feeding and directing the birds did an amazing job—he was confident, reassuring, and created a fun, safe environment where the birds could land on your arms and shoulders. I really appreciated him! The grounds are gorgeous, and while we didn’t get to do everything this time, we’ll definitely be back to try the zip-lining. We even saw monkeys running along the forest floor—it felt so authentically Barbados! Whether you’re visiting as a couple, a family, or a group, this is a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is laid-back and relaxing, and the natural beauty is unmatched. I highly, highly recommend it!

I scheduled this one through the cruise ship but easily could be done on your own. They take you here in buses and then you walk in and there is informational rooms and you wait for your turn to get on the little trams there's also a gift shop and a place to buy coffee then the trims drive you through the caverns. There are two spots that they let you get out and take some pictures. It's a pretty interesting cavern. I've been through about four or five different caverns they're all pretty unique in their own ways. I really liked this one they. It doesn't matter which side you sit on because you go in and out the same way but try and get a seat closer to the edge if you want to take some pictures

Highly recommend! Went there on a rainy day with my partner and 2 year old. Booked a 9am tram ride and it felt like a private tour (only 4 other with us). Gabriel and Peter were absolutely brilliant, super funny, knowledgeable of the cave and really great with our 2 year old who absolutely loved the experience. The ticket gets you access to the aviary as well which is lovely. The member of staff working there was filled with great facts about the birds.

Great time here, little train underground in the cave!! The kids loved the guides on the walk, you could interact with all the animals (mainly birds) We did see a couple of monkeys Not the cheapest entry fee but was worth it!

I really did enjoy thus cave which is not under a mountain. It's great learning how the island was formed and the cave found. Really nice formations. I'm not use to having a tram take me around but I think it's more to maximize profits. I started in a walking cave and think I still these. Outside of this, it's a must visit to experience things you may not have previously. Suggest early to avoid crowds.
