"We kick off our morning at the takeout window of Harry’s Kitchen, a cubbyhole pie bakery opened in 2018 on a small pedestrian street in the center a short walk from our hotel. Hands down the top pie-maker in Athens. The dough is divine, looks and tastes handmade. The recipes are often inspired from traditional Greek dishes. This place redefines pie-making for everybody in our city. Added bonus: the lady handing out pies is cute and polite.

Great little shop to grab Greek pies as a take away for breakfast or lunch. The service was kind and quick. We ordered the mushroom, feta, yellow cheese, ham and cheese, and apple pies. We loved the mushroom and feta pies!! Thank you.

I can only say they are the best greek pies I’ve had in Greece. When we found it, it became our place to have breakfast every day, trying a new flavour and each time we were more amazed than the previous. Still, classic feta is my fav. It is a MUST! And Harry is just so friendly :)

Crust was not as crispy as I had hoped, felt soft and a bit hard. We got three pies in total: spinach, spicy minced meat and eggs & tomatoes & feta. Our favorite was the spicy minced meat and least favorite was the spinach (expected something completely different, this was super herb-y)

This pie shop is definitely worth the hype. This tiny, one-square-meter shop in the heart of Athens is a hidden gem that’s sure to delight your taste buds. The unbelievably tasty pies are made fresh daily by fine ingredients and recipes. But be warned: Harry’s Kitchen is easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. It’s tucked away on a short side street, so make sure to follow Google Maps directions carefully. And don’t forget to get there early! The display is only open from 7 am until 3 pm (closed Sundays), and the best pies tend to sell out quickly. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on this experience!
