Harry's Seafood, Bar & Grille

New Orleans style restaurant with spicy cajun flavors as well as more traditional American fare like salads and burgers. This is my second visit, and both times were great. First time, there were four of us and we sat in the courtyard. This time, just two of us, and we got a table out front along San Marcos Ave / A1A across from the water and Bridge of Lions. What a great view! Today our server was Nikki, who was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu items and food allergies. I asked for a gluten free menu and she asked if there were any other food allergies. I told her I was allergic to celery too, and she almost cringed. She said that's a tough one because a lot of their dishes have celery in them. But it wasn't a problem for me. I looked at the gluten-free menu and chose the scallops with garlic mashed potatoes (GF and celery free). We ordered the bourdin balls (basically sausage, rice and cheese) as our appetizer. Everything was delicious! On my first visit several months ago, I ordered the cobb salad with the house dressing, which was also very tasty. There was also live music in the courtyard the first time, which provided an enjoyable atmosphere. The first experience was so good, from food, to service, to ambiance, I wanted to go back again, which I did today. Still more on the menu I want to try, so I'm sure I'll be back again.

The food and service was good. You can't beat the ambience, as it has a wonderful outside open patio in the center of the restuarant. My friend and I were able to sit on outside curb tables. The outdoor weather was perfect watching both local, as well as tourist walking by the old Fort. I highly recommend this place. Just around the corner is a beautiful church. You gotta check it out!

We went for dinner on Christmas eve. Besides having to wait a little longer than usual, we loved it. The live entertainment was good and you can't beat sitting outside on their patio as the sun starts to set. The food was great! Definetly get the fried green tomatoes and grits cakes.

The vibes were good, there was a live performance and she sang really well everything was very put together. Besides the 39 degree weather that no one can control it was a really nice place. Our server was kind and understanding, but he did warn us that our food was going to be a little spicy. We did wait 40+ minutes outside waiting for our food and every time we asked our server said “ a couple more minutes”. That isn’t really ideal considering how cold it was outside. So we asked our food to go. We did have to wait 6 more minutes to get our food. The mashed potatoes were spicy and that wasn’t mentioned at all. The ribeye was good spicier than mentioned but it was good. They ran out of utensils to give us which was a little disappointing. We did pay for 6 chicken tenders but we didn’t get them at all? It was already late and we wanted to get home so we didn’t mention it. We had our dog with us and our server did bring us a little bowl with water for her so I would say this place is dog friendly. It was freezing cold and our server was kind enough to bring us coffee and hot chocolate to keep us a little warm. I believe it was a really good experience overall. I am looking forward for the next time we visit, and I hope the weather is better, because I believe that this place does have a lot of potential

I ordered the crab crusted redfish royale. I'm used to Maryland crab and I was craving good crab. Pretty decent crab that was placed on top of the fish. Minced crab, seasoned pretty well but tasted better with the house hot sauce (Harry's signature hot sauce). The fish was cooked well, needed a little salt. The star was the smashed potatoes and corn maque choux! I went at 3pm on a Sunday during night of lights. The wait time was 1-2 hours. Luckily I was eating solo a snag a single seat at the bar which was open seating. I'd like to return to try their other signature dishes. The staff was wonderful. The restrooms were clean. The ambiance indoor and outdoor definitely added to the experience.

New Orleans flavor in St Augustine! We wanted fresh seafood - Harry's did not disappoint. My husband's order of mahi mahi was firm; its mild flavor was complemented by a lemon cream sauce. I was delighted by the rich, flaky, grilled salmon Oscar (a seasonal offering) well paired with asparagus and Nola rice. There was no wait for seating; Harry's has outdoor seating for enjoyment of beautiful Florida days or evenings, but can seat 200 indoors (there are two levels each with capacity for 100). Our waiter, Stefan, was attentive and helpful when asked about various offerings. As with much of this city, parking is at a premium but honestly historic downtown St. Augustine is best enjoyed walking...so plan your walk about to include Harry's! Highly recommend this gem.

Anytime between 2-9pm had an insane wait, we came at 11:30 or so, and we had no wait. Everything we had was delicious, especially the Shrimp and Chicken Creole, the Louisiana Fondeaux, and the Oreo Beignets. The food was quite rich. The prices felt pretty good too, and portion sizes reasonable (perhaps too reasonable with the Oreo beignets!) You cannot make reservations, which is understandable. I'd highly recommend the restaurant but try to come in off-hours They also had a separate gluten free menu, which was small but helpful

Our server Sydney was just wonderful, although I don't believe she caught the cross contamination in time. She had genuine care and wanted us to have great experience. The cranberry martini was just to die for. Husband had juice change in his drink due to allergies, which was no problem and he stated...delicious. Butter and bread for table was perfect. My market fresh pasta was nice, a thicker sauce would have been nicer but got Sydney to bring more bread. The Red Fish was an issue for two reasons...1 husband allergic to shrimp and she seemed worried and insisted on taking back meal. 2 When the second one arrived at table I had noticed the color of fish was was different as well as a lack of the orange colored sauce that was on the original plate. Not sure what was up there really but manager did remove from the bill. As Sydney was such a worried delight she did get our savings back in her tip. Overall a great place to datenight dine. As they are busy, if you have any allergies please tell them. Husband did awake with back of throat swollen still...just glad our server cared enough to ensure it got changed out...he only had one bite before she took it...if he would have finished most of plate, I may be telling different story.

The food and service here are consistently great. The view is amazing as well. Highly recommended as this is a family favorite when we are in town.

"Fish tacos, history, and a balcony view worth every calorie!" If you go to Harry's in St. Augustine, do yourself a favor -- sit on the balcony! You get this postcard-perfect view of the waterfront and the Lions Bridge, right next to El Castillo de San Marcos. It's like dinner and a history lesson with seasoning! Our server Jeremy from Indianapolis was awesome -- he just moved to Florida and already delivering 5-star service. (Good luck out here, buddy, just wait till you meet Florida humidity ). We found this spot on TikTok, and for once, TikTok didn't lie! The calamari was crispy, the fish tacos were , and yes... I ordered a hamburger at a seafood place. I know, I know -- but don't judge me, the burger was legit! Between the view, the food, and the vibe, I left full, happy, and slightly jealous of Jeremy's new job location. 10/10 -- would definitely go back (and maybe even try something that actually swims next time).

If you don't mind being completely ignored after your food is delivered this is the place for you! Full disclosure, the food is Amazing! If I wanted food from here again I would order dinner TO GO! The service, or at least our server, sucks (shorter arrogant red-headed guy) along with the "protect my guy" manager we encountered. Full details below! Husband & I were traveling, decided to check out St Augustine, asked several local people where would they eat. More than 2 mentioned Harry's. So we went. When we arrived our server (youngish brunette female) immediately got our drink order & waters. When she returned with our drinks she explained it was "shift change" & we were being handed off to another server (I've worked in F&B this is lazy hostessing/management, don't seat people in a section where the server's shift is ending (especially when you have at least 3 hostesses who could track this) then no 'handoff' issues). Not a problem, the 2nd server showed up (short red-headed guy mildly arrogant but not bad so far) took our food order & left. Delivered our food after a while (not an issue) & this is when things started getting weird. We placed an order for dinner drinks, me wine to go with my steak medallions, my husband a refill on his Old Fashioned. Server runs off with that order, comes immediately back & asks my husband about Bourbon preferences. After an explanation from the server he chooses what sounds like the one he would like & commenting on how good the first one tasted. The server runs off again, only to return to tell my husband he picked the wrong Bourbon as his previous one was made with the "other" less appealing sounding choice. To which we respond, ok make it with that one then. Again the server states but, it's not the one you think you'll like. I say "Well make it with that, he enjoyed it before." In anticipation of imminent drinks we sat & chatted allowing our food to chill a bit. Finally we started eating. I delayed eating my steak hoping he would appear with the wine. Finally, after our plates were cleaned, all our glasses emptied, my husband went out to see if he could find our server, he immediately returned, stating that what looked like our drinks were sitting on the bar. We sat & waited for a bit longer & finally we got the attention of another server. We told her what had occurred & asked if our server was ok, had something happened to him. She offered to get the manager. My husband left for the restroom & some guy comes walking towards the table with wine & a cocktail in his hands. After repeated no & no thank you, we're tired of waiting, no thank you we finished our dinner already, he says "Whst you don't want these now?" While once again attempting to deposit them on the table. He finally got it when the no became a NO, we just want our check! Off he toddles with drinks in hand. My husband returned & once again the guy who had attempted to deliver the drinks walks up. Now he tells us he's one of the managers. Also this was just a mix up as there was a shift change. We explained, we were aware & both servers had discussed this. We then explained the rest, along with the disappearance of our server, our concern for his health/wellbeing or whatever emergency must have kept him from returning. When we were assured nothing had happened, we then added how no one had offered bread service, water refills or so much as a boo or go to hell, since our food was delivered. We also shared that the food was amazing, it was the service that sucked! We were reassured they would investigate & figure out what went wrong so it never happens again (we're passing through & really don't care our dinner was ruined). At my puzzled frown he suddenly added "Oh & we'll take off your previous drinks." ‍ Seriously? So glad this wasn't an event, a birthday, anniversary or special occasion but, no worries. If we ever find ourselves wanting food from this establishment, we'll order To Go, eat at the hotel bar & get our drinks there too. Poor front end manager, excellent kitchen. Amazing chef & remember our food was almost cold by the time we started eating waiting on our drinks to come. Can't imagine the bliss it would have been HOT!

Harry's is that spot I always recommend when someone asks where to eat in downtown St. Aug. I've never had a single dish that wasn't absolutely delicious--seriously, everything is packed with flavor and made with care. Whether you're in the mood for their signature shrimp and grits, a classic po' boy, or something blackened and bold, you can't go wrong! The atmosphere is charming and lively, especially if you can snag a seat on the outdoor patio under the lights. Bonus: the outside seating is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your pup along for dinner! That said--be prepared to wait. They don't take reservations, and the line can get long, especially on weekends. My tip: get there early, enjoy a stroll around the historic district, and trust that it's worth the wait.

Dining outside at Harry's and there was a local musician as the crowd had a good vibe as they were enjoying the 80's songs. Went straight for the main course and got the New Orleans Ribeye-was a bit dry but taste was OK with the complimentary sides. The Andouille fish was very tasty, blended well with the red rice and house sauce. There was a less than 10 minute wait for our seats. Service was quick from Rick during our visit. Much appreciated. Parking after 9PM is free on the weekdays and you will most likely pay for a spot .

My husband had heard about the ghostly history of this restaurant and wanted to eat here, so we decided to check it out. I didn't see the inside of the restaurant as we were seated in their gorgeous outdoor courtyard. It was quite magical out there! It did start to rain and the waiters immediately brought large umbrellas to all the people sitting there. Normally I would be annoyed by the rain, but it added a sense of whimsy. I ordered the blackened red fish, and my husband had the ribeye steak. My fish came with a Creole type rice, and collard greens, and a rich cream sauce. My husband's steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned! I had a bite of it and it was just divine! The restaurant was dog friendly, and that's always a plus for us! A live musician started to play his guitar and sing halfway through our mail and that was lovely! We didn't see any ghosts, but our waitress sure had and told us a couple stories! If you're in St Augustine, and you're looking for a really great restaurant, I suggest you check out Harry's!

When visiting Saint Augustine, I saw this location when we drove by to get to the alligator farm. I enjoy eating seafood on occasion, though I try to stick mostly to a meat free diet. A vacation or work trip seemed like the perfect time to splurge; especially since the seafood is fresh in Florida versus a landlocked state where I live (Arizona). Love the view of the water from the table and was a great ambiance for a Sunday afternoon lunch. Our waitress was fantastic and hope her wedding went well! Loved the recommendations, and she was right - the hot sauce was so good!!! I had to get two bottles to take home as souvenirs. The food was also fantastic! Definitely would return here if I'm in Saint Augustine again.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!! We will becoming regulars at Harry's because we had the most amazing experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, sitting outside is an absolute must! The service is exceptional. From the host to the servers everyone is so knowledgeable and kind. The best part...the FOOD!! Their tuna is hands down one of the best I have ever had. Also, their redfish is a must try but you HAVE to add the blue crab crusted on it! The grouper was delicious as well. We can't wait to go back and try even more!

Harry's wasn't our first choice for lunch, but it turned out to be a great one. The service was excellent--friendly, fast, and attentive without being overbearing. I had the redfish topped with blue crab, served with rice and beans--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The corn cakes were a standout side with just the right texture and sweetness. We also tried the salmon with smashed potatoes, and it exceeded expectations--nicely seasoned and well balanced. For a quick stop-in, the quality of food really impressed us. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

This place came highly recommended by local friends and hotel staff. It is definitely a Hotspot so plan on having a wait when you go. If the weather is cooperating, which it wasn't the night we were there, outside seating is available. The New Orleans themed cuisine is similar to what you would find in other similarly themed restaurants, but they do everything a slight bit differently to give it their own unique taste and it works! Everything we ordered was delicious and the portions were so plentiful we had plenty to take home for the next day. This is a definite must try spot if you are in the area.

Harry's is always a favorite spot for some tasty French inspired food. The options for several options for seating: inside with ac, inside at the bar, outside in a pleasantly landscaped courtyard and outside or upstairs with the view of the bay. All captions are comfortable on a day the outside weather is nice. Outside seating is too warm on occasion. The menu has a nice variety of French Cajun inspired dishes. The food is very tasty. On this visit I had fried green tomatoes with a spicy Cajun Remoulade and feta crumble as an appetizer, the house salad with homemade vinaigrette, and for my entree three filet mignon medallions with béarnaise sauce, roasted potatoes, asparagus and oyster mushrooms. The remoulade was a little spicy but not the kind of spicy that lingers. The flavor of all the other food was delicious. The reason for the four stars is because of the speed of service. We had to wait about 10 minutes before a server visited our table. There were empty tables around us, so we should have had a stop to at least offer a drink order. I would recommend eating at Harry's while in Saint Augustine. You will not be disappointed.

Every bite was spot on! Super fresh- friendly service. The shrimp & grits is my go to and this did not disappoint!

I was here recently on Wednesday night. Our server Erin was amazing. She made sure we were taken care of the whole time, anticipating our every needs! She recommended some great choices and seemed to know everything on the menu. I got the drink and meal she told us and I couldn't have been happier! We were at the bar at first and the bartender Jocylean was a bit rude. I wish Erin could have been behind the bar too, that would have made our experience a 11/10!!! Will come back again.

We came here on Memorial Day because we were in Saint Augustine and we didn't have reservations, but we were able to get in right away for lunch at about noon Luckily, I read the reviews because I realize I have been to this place four years ago and we were about to order the exact same thing we ordered four years ago. So we changed it up. The fried green tomatoes were absolutely delicious. They had feta cheese and an aïoli on top of it. The chicken and shrimp Creole had just the right amount of spice and was also delicious. My husband had a fish tacos and they were extremely over stuffed in a good way and also delicious. We were thinking about the Oreo beignets but we're going to be walking into the center after this and decided for ice cream. It was extremely hot out today and were able to get inside with AC so we were super happy

Harry's is a lovely spot between bold Cajun flavor and laid back coastal vibes. They have tables outside by the water, they've also got indoor seating, and a cute courtyard. I started with the boudin balls which were crispy, well seasoned, and a great little intro to what was coming. Then came the star: seared ahi tuna done Cajun style with the right amount of spice. It was served with rice and a side salad simple, but everything worked together so well. Also tried bites of the Cajun fish and scallops, both were cooked beautifully, with that same bold, smoky spice and the creamy corn grits which were rich, buttery, and comforting without being too heavy.

We came in and had a stroller. This place is not stroller friendly. They sat us in the corner and our server was a bit cold towards us. We asked for extra water since we've been walking and wanted to hydrate. She stated she can only bring 2 cups of water and a kid cup of water for my niece. She seemed like she was rushing. Overall the decor was beautiful since it seemed like you were in a forest. The food was decent. Salmon was cooked perfectly, the pasta had great flavor. Calamari was cooked good too.

Cute, quaint Ang yummy. Good service. Started with calamari and green beans. Then had a shrimp crab salad with fried green tomatoes. Very generous portions.

This was our first stop when we arrived to downtown. Amazing dinner! We had fantastic service. The food was fresh and delicious. Unreal mahi and loved their homemade dressing on the arugula. Best grits I've ever had. Also the butter they bring with the bread was divine. They also had live music outside in the courtyard where we sat which was such a vibe. Highly recommend!

Outdoor ambiance was amazing on a sunny weekday dinner. All dishes were prepared to perfection with fast attentive service. Good location by the shops and water.

Hour and a half wait. And you HAVE to wait within the gates of the restaurant. This place is super popular so expect to wait. But there's hardly anywhere to sit to wait. It would probably be better for them to use a text reservation list better than the buzzers. That way the walk ways wouldn't be so crowded with people waiting. BUT food was good. I didn't get exactly what I wanted, I should've, so my meal was alright. The table bread is yummy. And the gumbo.

Food was excellent. Shrimp and grits were classic and exceptional. Lemon drop martini was everything wife hoped for. Service was not. Upstairs bartender was overwhelmed with work. Had full bar and tables to service. Does not do a good job of acknowledging guests that have been waiting for over 15 minutes at the bar to order a drink. Every person that sat at the bar while we were there were complaining about the service. We watched while group of 6 waited forever to get their checks correct and settled. Then as we were leaving the group of four that sat 20 minutes ago had yet to receive their drinks. We love Harry's. We will go back as we are traveling but will pause for awhile to see if they can improve the service end.

This place was fantastic. Nice place to take a date for dinner in downtown St. Augustine. Food was amazing. Service was very good as well. It was a cold night and we wanted to sit outside near a heater. They were able to move us to a table near a heater since ours was not working.

Harry's always seems to be packed whenever I pass by, so of course I had to stop by! It's a fast paced full service restaurant that serves a New Orleans based menu right in the heart of St. Augustine. I ordered the peach bourbon smash which was wonderful! The fried green tomatoes which were sliced and cooked to perfection!! And the red beans and rice with a side of grit cakes. Everything was wonderful and came to the table quickly! The bowl of red beans and rice was huge and definitely enough to take home for leftovers, and the grit cakes were also larger than expected! My only hang up was the food was not piping hot so it cooled down faster than usual.

What not to say about Harry's. The staff was very well coming and our waiter was even more fun. It was busy as we decided to brunch here. But she never once allowed us to feel as if we were constantly waiting for her to tend to our needs. She was always on top of it. That being said, I hadn't been for at least a year and I was describing a dish I wanted that I didn't see on the menu. Apparently it was a dinner menu item and she informed me I could order it still and so I did. We had two dishes and both were incredibly savory. If you're familiar with New Orleans cuisine you'll be satisfied to know this is a great tribute to that style of cooking. It exceeded my expectations. Also, there is plenty of tables outside and inside. Even though they may be busy, they have figured out a great balance to seat as many people as possible while not letting the desire for your food to go unnoticed. All in all another great time at Harry's.

Fantastic service and good. We got seated outside and by time drinks got there, it started to rain. Our waiter was so nice and let us switch to a table that at least had an umbrella. Food was amazing. Very cute place that made our last meal in town even more special.

Went her last night for the boyfriend and holy moly our dinner was amazing! It looks like we hit it right at the peak of dinner rush so we waited about 45 minutes for a table to become available. We were seated outside but they were very good about running heaters and making sure we were comfortable. We decided to treat ourselves and get soup and appetizers. We got she crab soup and the Cajun Fondeaux. For our mains the boyfriend had the NOLA Pasta that was on the specialty menu and I had the shrimp and chicken creole. Both were phenomenal and we tore through our food. We also went through three servings of bread and the butter with it is insanely good.

Amazing food. Don't miss the scallop and shrimp Evangeline. Perfect blend of goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes for the sauce. Highly recommend.

Harry's was our very first stop when we arrived in St Augustine. As expected, it was a hit! We got there around 7;00 pm with no reservations. The wait was about 40 min so not too bad. The staff was friendly and the food is amazing. It's New Orleans inspired and the quality is unbelievable, especially for the price. We all decided on the twin lobster tails and crab cakes and we were all very happy with our choices. If you're ever in St Augustine, I would highly recommend stopping by. It's well worth it! This is a really popular restaurant so reservations would be best. Don't miss out!

As always. Harry's is place to go for Cajun creole food in st augustine. Had early dinner/late lunch upstairs. Went upstairs because the upstairs is supposedly haunted. Started off with iced tea and boudin balls. Then had oyster po'boy with side of red beans and rice. Candyce had the chicken Jolie blonde with red beans and rice. Great service and great food. Always good at Harry's.

Wow! DH & I came to Harry's to celebrate our anniversary. We were attracted to their outdoor setting. It is so lovely & quaint. We arrived on a Monday evening around 6:30 & sat outside in the outside patio. The setting was perfectly done with live trees & vines. There was a singer performing. After the sun went down the tiki torches were lit & tree lights came on. DH & I order a cup of the She Crab soup. Fantastic! It had a wonderful blend of cream to the heat of the peppers & spices. The amount of crab meat was just right. For our meals we both ordered the Crab Crusted Redfish Royale which was the chef's kiss. The entree is served over mashed potatoes & a side of corn maque choux. We didn't want the corn maque choux so I chose the coleslaw, which was delicious, & DH chose the sweet corn grits which he found to be good. Our meals were fantastic. To top off the night we shared a slice of Key Lime Pie. It was delicious. We look forward to coming back.

I would've given 5 stars if we didn't have to wait 4 hours until we were seated for dinner in a back room and almost another hour later until our Filet Mignon orders were ready on Christmas Eve last month. Harry's does not take reservations, which made it a bad experience for us unfortunately. First come, first serve. We were really looking forward to it and didn't want to leave. It dampened our Christmas spirit as well as our anticipation to be able to enjoy Harry's for a first time visit after driving up to St Augustine from Miami Beach. We were so tired from the waiting. I have never experienced more than an hour wait at any restaurant. But Harry's is a super popular restaurant in St Augustine and can't help it if hundreds of people arrive on the same evening. They do seat 500 people at a time. But we didn't know any of this when we arrived. Luckily, our meal was fantastic! Other than that, I wish to commend the manager at the check in desk for her kindness and caring after a patron started yelling at her for trying to make me comfortable because of my disability by bringing me a wooden chair to sit on. I was in pain, the patron was a young healthy but inebriated woman who objected to the kindness. The general manager came to the scene and took care of the problem. He was wonderful also. I really appreciated the final result. My daughter and I wanted a very special Christmas 2024 and because our family has passed on, leaving just the two of us to fend for ourselves. We are making memories as often as we can. This was to be one of them. We both ordered the Filet Mignon and she added a lobster tail to her order. We both loved our meals. They were juicy and tender and seasoned perfectly! For dessert, we had the Oreo Beignets, which were also very good. Our server was Hannah, who was charming, attentive and a delight. She is a hard worker and aims to please. She is a great representative for Harry's! We needed someone like her to be our server after what we went through that evening. We left in a good mood at almost 11 pm. We had arrived at 530 pm. We will never forget this evening. Will we go back? Yes, absolutely but we will pick a quiet day in the week at an off hour and non-holiday. Harry's is such a beautiful restaurant with the best outdoor patio I have seen. Next time, I would like to sit outside.

The food, service, and ambiance were all a 10/10 and that's coming from someone who is born and raised in Louisiana. I had a family vacation this weekend in st. Augustine and to have 8 Cajun women enjoy their meal at a Louisiana style restaurant out of state is absolutely unheard of but this restaurant did it! I will definitely recommend this place to any and everyone who's in st Augustine

Best dinner I have had out in a long time!!!! Food and staff are beyond awesome!!! I highly recommend. Best restaurant ever!!!!

Mama... 10s 10s 10s ACROSS THE BOARD‼ This was my first time at Harry's and I took my mom with high expectations. Mind you, my mom is sooo hard to please, so when she's happy that's how you KNOW you ate. The staff and our waitress were so nice! We started with the Boudin Balls. Fierce. Delicious. Tasty. My mom decided on the Shrimp & Grouper Fried Platter and I knew what I wanted before I came in: the French Baked Scallops (which are not written on the menu). When the shrimp and grouper came out? Massive shrimps. Light breading. Perfect. My mom wouldn't stop talking about how this is how shrimp should be served I ordered my scallops with a side of sweet corn grits and almost fell out of my chair when I took that first bite. SISTER I couldn't stop dancing in my chair. These scallops had me throwing it in my seat. They are not stingy with the scallops and I love that. They had a nice char but weren't overcooked like THANK YOU!! I wish it was cooler outside or else we would've sat in their GORGEOUS backyard area. It would've pulled everything together but I can't complain about a god damn thing because everything was so good ???? After we finished, I told the hostess to give the chef a kiss on the forehead. I'm being so serious I had to let them know that it wasn't us who just ate, but the chef ate as well !!

Best seafood and crab cakes. Will go back for sure. Service could improve but food was first class.

Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille has a beautiful outdoor dining area. We ate outside on a beautiful day and really enjoyed the experience. Our server was so kind and helped us decide on our order. We started off with the complimentary bread and butter. Then we ordered the she crab soup to share. It was absolutely delicious, though it is very creamy and rich. We also got the blackened redfish with grit cake. The redfish was very juicy, and I loved the flavor of the rub. The grit cake was simple; I would probably choose a different side next time. I'd be very interested in trying their scallop dish next time.

An amazing chilly day at St Augustine topped of with a late lunch at Harry's. We sat outside and where plenty of heaters kept us and our food warm. The service was quick and we didn't have to wait long before being seated. We wanted something hot to start and we went for the Louisiana fondeux which was delicious and very filling. Then our entrees, definitely the winner was the crusted grouper! Was a mix of flavors! Will come back just for this. Unfortunately no space for dessert this time!

Absolutely amazing! They don't take reservations so grab a pager as soon as you get there. Nice outdoor area, they told us it would be 45 min wait but only waited about 15 min. Grabbed a drink at the bar and we were called! We sat outside, even though it was cold that night, they had plenty of outdoor heaters. Even had live music outside. Our server Brent was fantastic! We ordered the fried green tomatoes but it never came but it worked out since we ordered dessert instead. I got the andouille sausage covered grouper and it was so delicious, I changed the mashed potatoes for the grit cake. Loved it! Hubby got the chicken Jolie blonde and he enjoyed that too. Got the Oreo beignets as the dessert and it was amazing! I ate 4 of them! Great place with amazing service and food!

Holy.. YUM!! The boudin balls were a good way to start off the meal, the remoulade sauce was delish. Now the bread? I could have eaten 3 helpings of that and been happy. The butter that came with it was the best butter spread I've ever had. The bread was so soft and melted in your mouth. The crab crusted redfish royale. Best item of the menu per the bartender. It was SO tasty, the corn and the sauce with it really hit the spot. Speaking of the bartender, he was awesome. So friendly, helpful, and made the experience great. I suggest getting here early. I left around 6:15 on a Wednesday night and there was already a long wait and people waiting right behind my bar seats to snag them. It's a very popular spot but very worth it.

This is a must go to when visiting St.Augustine FL. Located in a cute strip area with tons of beautiful views. The area was Christmas decor downed, was so beautiful. The restaurant is a Cajun New Orleans vibe. There is a beautiful courtyard which has out door seating. Then three levels inside with the third level as a rooftop. Unfortunately it's freezing in Florida so we ate inside. It gave me cottage like vibes. The staff and service was great. Christian did an amazing job. The service was FAST, and I yell that because it was a little to fast for me. By time had one sip of my Hurricane, the apps were out, and maybe after three bites of those the main dishes came out, and I still working on my drink. But the food was sooo good, I forgive feeling slightly rushed. Foodl was very authentic tasting. Great portions and very reasonable pricing. We started the meal with fried green tomatoes and boudin balls. Both were amazing. The feta and chipotle aoilo really set these apart from others we had before. The boudin balls were perfectly seasoned and fried. It came with a side sauce, it tasted horseradish forward, which I don't like, BUT you didn't need sauce for them. For our mains we tried pasta chicken chicken louisianne with a grit cake, bourbon street salmon with sweet corn grits and the fried grouper with slaw and fries. The also brought out a basket of warm bread with a garlic Parmesan butter! It was hard to pick a favorite dish, because they all were so good. Cooked perfectly. The sauces that they create all in house were just amazing. Definitely would go back here every visit, unless they want to open one in Buffalo, then I'd be there weekly!

5 STAR experience! Food was amazing and our server, Matt, added to the experience with his charming personality and professional recommendations. He even inquired if we had any food allergies! Superb service and food! Wish there was one in Texas!

Boyfriend and I decided to finish our weekend by dining at Harry's, and it was the best time! Food was amazing, boudin balls were amazing, Megan and her hospitality was top notch! Highly recommend this restaurant when you are in town

This was our 2nd trip here within 3 months and hate to say it (especially when the first visit was pleasant) but it was a terrible experience! We didn't mind the hour wait, as it was a busy time but my goodness, our food arrived late and cold, from our burgers to the jambalaya. People who sat after us received their food before we did :( Had to send the burgers back so it can come back warm at least and it did arrive with a warmer meat patty but we had to sacrifice it being well done. Very disappointed and won't be returning again with our big family.

first time in Harry's recommended by a friend in California. Filet mignon with smash potatoes and added a lobster tail -Plus two Coronas . Wow Flavors are great mmmmmmm. it was very satisfying. I'm just full now Outdoor , Live music, night lights are always the best

We visited on the evening of November 22nd, during Night of Lights, so we expected a long wait. It ended up being about an hour and a half for a table, which was understandable given the event. However, the biggest issue came after we were seated. It took about another full hour for our food to arrive. When the plates finally came out, one of the burgers at our table was cold in the middle and almost entirely red inside. We spoke with the general manager, and to his credit, he was very hospitable and genuinely apologetic. He took the situation seriously and went out of his way to make things right. The guest with the undercooked burger received a gumbo on the house, and the manager also brought out a pie for the whole table to share, which we really appreciated. Aside from the delay and that one food issue, the restaurant itself is beautiful--great atmosphere and a nice view overlooking the water. I do recommend visiting, and I believe our experience was more of a one-off situation. The general manager handled everything professionally and made sure we left satisfied.

We recently gave Harry's a try. The place was very busy so we saddled up at the bar. The two bartenders were awesome. I couldn't believe how much these two young ladies ran around behind the bar. One handled walk ups, the other handled the waiters orders. They were very efficient. The food was ok. I ordered a bowl of gumbo. That was a mistake because the bowl was huge. I ate about a third of it because I ordered the shrimp creole. The Mrs went with the shrimp scampi. I found my two dishes to be good not great. Having been to New Orleans a few times. it's tough to compare. My wife's scampi was pretty darn good. The sauce was light and flavorful.
