What an amazing place! A great dinner with great conversation and laughs. People couldn’t stop walking past our table and admiring the size of our meat. 😏 Absolutely delicious and much more affordable than other steak places. This restaurant doesn’t advertise and has survived over 50 years by word of mouth. If you haven’t been here before, you owe it to yourself to check it out!

My first time eating here was very disappointing and uneventful. I was recommended Harry’s Steakhouse by multiple people whom stood by this restaurant and said it was a great place to eat and have a delicious meal, to my surprise it was not lived to its expectations. The waitress was very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable about the menu which I appreciated for my first visit. I ordered the popular strip steak cooked medium with side of vegetables and mashed potatoes. The mixed vegetables were delicious and seasoned perfectly, the potatoes were very soft, creamy, and the gravy was tasty, unfortunately my steak was the worst part of this meal. The steak was cooked well done when I ordered for it to be cooked medium, so i informed my waitress that I wanted it cooked medium and she took it back. After I received my second steak I was surprised and disappointed to find it cooked on the more rare side. Needless to say, but I expected a steakhouse to know how to properly prepare and cook a steak.

Overall this place looks fun but the food was ok. My steak bites and veggies were hard to cut through and my mother in law’s and husband’s potatoes were cold. I’m glad they were able to serve them warm potatoes but it turns another table before ordered before us and still didn’t get their food yet. I know the manager talked to that family and apologized so it felt like it was a long night for the staff and everyone here as well. I did like the ambiance in there and our new waitress did her best but I was hoping for the price we paid it would’ve been better.

Overall a decent experience, will go again. Our server Alex was very attentive. The filet was tender and cooked perfectly, but lacked flavor/seasoning. The sauteed mushroom/onions also had no seasoning/butter. Ribs were delicious! The appetizer sampler was huge, a good deal. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was delicious but over priced ($16-6 small mushrooms). The cinnamon butter with the rolls is better than Texas Roadhouse. My brothers porterhouse was very thin & overcooked but they replaced it with a much better one cooked perfect.

First time here although I may have been here many years ago when it was a brown derby. The hostess was very nice and seated us immediately as there was no wait. We were waiting for a third person. Waitress seemed very nice but very for lack of a better word disorganized. My husband and I ordered the special 2 for $24.99. (?) I got a salad which was mostly iceberg lettuce house dressing was rather bland which is odd considering it was balsamic. Had a small sirloin steak which was okay and a baked sweet potato. My husband had fish and chips basically, said it was good but the fries were not hot and the portion of fish was quite small. Our third guest had a cheeseburger and fries which she said was good. I'm sorry to say that the first impression was not great. The food was okay and as I said our waitress was very nice but not very good at her job unfortunately. She seemed distracted by something else. Have to give someone the benefit of the doubt that maybe they were just having an off day. Restaurant got quite busy as we were leaving. Would like to give it a try another time

I ordered Harry's Strip steak I tasted like shoe leather. Horrible at $31.00. Salad was good. Baked potatoe was hot. Service sucked. My food came & they never sent the mushrooms 🍄 & it took the waitress 20 mins before she came back to check on me. I was by myself. Haven't been there in a number of years & I'll not go back.

We were looking for a place to take our kids on a Monday night. This place was FABULOUS. Unassuming, modest, and outright tasty!! Plus the service was better than most restaurants I've been to. We can not wait to come back to try the clam bake! *note in pictures* we asked for rare-midrare steak and we got what we asked for!

I’ve eaten here on several occasions and the food was on point. This time the blackened cod, gratin potatoes, and the chopped sirloin was tasty but a little dry. The waitress was nice, and quick with great hospitality skills. The atmosphere is very good.

The French onion soup had no taste and I love French onion soup. Service was good, but I can't say anything else about it. Restaurant was clean.

Gotta love Harry's for clambake season. The meal was delicious, complete, and even the biggest appetites will have trouble eating it all. Service was very good, especially considering how busy it was.

Harrys steakhouse is part of Malones. When you walk in Harrys is to the left and Malones is to the right. If you want Malones I understand you have to have a reservation. Harrys is more casual with a very good food menu. I went with a group of 7 a few weeks ago and while I don't remember what we all had, I do know we all really enjoyed it. the prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was great. Oh yea, they have draft beer (+1) also. What really caught my attention was the quality of service. They were fun to talk with and they went out of their way to find a place to seat us since we were a large uneven number. If service is as good as it was the night I was there, the service at Malones must be over the top.

Fast, polite service and nice ambiance but the food wasn't great. The baked potato was warm not hot and one of the steaks served was inedible and had to be returned. The rolls are good and some really like the cinnamon butter. The salad comes out family style which is nice but the Italian dressing was too vinegar-y. Not a great experience over all.

I ordered the Prime Rib with mashed potatoes. The Prime Rib lacked flavor and seemed like a lower quality meet. It is noisy in this place. My wife ordered a TBONE with al garuten potatoes which were table. The steak wasn't good lot of grissel. Not a high quality meet. The steaks are pricey and not worth the price.

Nice place! Big, lots of room. Sat at the bar and had the filet special (7 oz) Nice big side salad, fresh cold, lots of add on veggies. Nice warm dinner rolls with cinnamon butter. Steak cooked nicely. Baked sweet potato was huge and tasty. All in all nice dinner. Would go again.

Well, this is my first time going there in a couple of years. all the staff was very friendly, I ordered a T bone steak cooked Medium, they cooked it well, the portions were a nice size, but overall, the meal was just ok, if the steak was cooked correct it would have been better.

My friends took in a play and then dined at Harry's. A+ all the way. We had ordered the 10 ounce sirloin steaks. The meals were delicious and tasty. Our server Mariah was the BEST! The salads were fresh, the meat tasty and the roll's fantastic! We highly recommend this location and restaurant.

I went to Harry's steak House and order a $33.00 filet. I order my steak done medium. After waiting for 25 minutes my steak was delivered. The steak was very well done. I returned the steak to the waitress. She was supposed to reorder my steak medium done. After another 25 minutes (after my friend was done eating his steak) I was again delivered my steak. This time the steak was so rare and bloody I thought I would die. I asked to a manager and a man I think his name was bell came over. He offered to recook my steak to medium or prepare another one. After over an hour of waiting I was pretty pissed off. This would take another 25 minutes and I wasn't paying $33.00 for a re-cooked steak. I just told him to remove the price of the steak from the bill. I don't feel he did enough to satisfy my situation. NEVER GOING TO HARRYs again

Awesome place. Food was great and the price was even better. Don't let a full parking lot scare you off. This place is huge.

I overheard staff refusing/arguing over having to serve a table of african american people. this was my first time dining at harry's, the food was great but some of the staff need to be fired immediately for the way they portray themselves and speak about people. i have never been so disgusted. it is 2025 and to hear blatant racism in an establishment is absolutely unacceptable.

Past three visits have been bad- food never arrived, 2 times we sat for 15 minutes without ever seeing a server- has gone way downhill. Probably won't be back

A nice return to a place I used to frequent throughout the year. I attempted to make a reservation ahead of time (they only take them by phone), but was informed that they only take reservations for groups of 6 or more. Thankfully, our party of 4 was able to get seated right away for a birthday dinner on a Thursday night. Our waitress, Jasmine was nice and attentive for the most part. I was only put off a bit, by the strawberry daiquiri (nostalgia anyone) I ordered arriving dripping out all over the glass and table. In addition, a 10 oz Prime Rib, Special Delmonico, and a couple sandwiches (kids) were enjoyed by all. Everything was cooked to temp and flavorful. Harry's definitely gives you classic steakhouse vibes. It hasn't been updated much over the years, which adds to that ambiance. I would like to see it refreshed a bit. The bathroom was in serious need of basic attention; something that will make me take my time returning.

Went after a graduation, reminds me of old school steak place (think ponderosa minus the salad bar) Salad served family style and refillable-had more than just salad mix garbanzo beans tomato cucumber cheese croutons. Dinner rolls were warm yeasty and the cinnamon butter yummy. Had blue cheese topped filet and sweet potato. Cooked the way I asked and delicious. Others in our party got prime rib, sirloin and filet. Overall good quality descent price point-would most definitely go again. Services was pleasant and attentive.

Always a favorite! We have been coming to Harry's for as long as I can remember, the dessert case was always a favorite as a child. Greeted with a smile and ushered to our table on a busy night is refreshing when the wait staff is kept on their toes. The menu is consistent, you know the rolls will be hot, fresh and overflow with sides of cinnamon butter. The salads are heaped high and seem never ending. Sorry no pictures on this outing, we started eating and realized we never got full pictures.

I wouldn't go here if it was the last place on earth to eat. I waitress Heather kept disappearing and after she got a few things wrong really didn't want to come back to the table. First, she bought the wrong salad dressing but by the time she came back I had already eaten my salad. Then the French onion soup was like dish water no flavor and the bread inside was stale. Steak wasn't cooked right and after we find her again, she takes the plate away. But in a few minutes brings back the same plate with the potatoes on it which of course by now are cold and she should have given me new ones with the steak. By the way the 2nd time the steak was overcooked, so I ate bread and butter. No manager came by and when we tried to make a complaint it was liked they didn't care. Save yourself time and aggravation eat somewhere else.

We love the clam bakes in the fall. The service is alway friendly and consistently good food.

I remember this place as the Brown Derby, and I still like going there. I like their fish, so have never had the steak. The service was adequate, but the atmosphere brought back good memories. Everything about this place is nostalgic and comfortable, not a bar or little place crammed into a strip mall. For me, it's what a restaurant should be.

Tough one to review because the service was really good and the bartender was good as well. But a group ordered the New York Strip and what came out was some kind of sirloin and was overcooked and very tough and the veggies were also overcooked and looked like they came out of a bag.

The Ambiance was great, the food was good but not excellent, and the service was awful. Our waitress, brought our food, and I had to hunt her down to get additional service. She never came back to our table.

Really liked this place esp for the price. They also have 2 can dine for 22 bucks at certain times so will be back for sure. Steak was pretty good. Potato ok. Staff friendly and a very country vibe inside. Would recommend

This was a great find for us! Food is fabulous! They do steaks right. No frills. Ambiance is not fancy at all.... Just a good ole steakhouse. Came for the first time last week and back for a second visit in the same week.

Steakhouse? I ordered the strip steak, labeled the favorite. Asked for it to be medium rare. Came out medium, and tough. When you have a difficult time cutting the steak with a big old steak knife you know it's not going to turn out good. And it wasn't.

Even though the exterior doesn't seem all that great I was impressed by the reasonable prices and good food. You get A LOT of food. The steaks are well cooked, on par with Outback and Roadhouse style. The appetizers are a great way to kick things off, they are large and sharable. I went with a group and everyone enjoyed the selection. The steaks were well cooked and seasoned properly. Definitely worth a quick stop with the family, especially with how centrally located it is in the Cleveland area.

I was there about 2 months ago with a party of six for a Bd get together my med. Rare steak was well done. Yuck everything else was good. I told the waitress and she said ok but came back and said she could take it off the bill, I refused, because didn't want to wait longer, as everyone else had their meal. Some other customers sang happy birthday, we did have some fun. But my steak ruined it for me.

Harry's reminds me of the old Brown Derby. They have great happy hour specials, good food, service is hit or miss, but most of the time it's a hit. Ambiance is nice. Give it a try!

Enjoyed our large steaks for an affordable price, the salad and rolls bring me back . Hasn't changed much over the years. Will go again.

I was looking for a good local steak house while I was visiting family from out of town and my mom recommended Harry's! Harry's is a nice local steakhouse with a cozy interior and awesome food! They had a good selection of local beers on draft and while myself and friends waited on our entrees they serve warm rolls with cinnamon sugar butter! I could have filled up on the rolls alone, but I'm glad I didn't because I got a 22oz porterhouse and a giant baked sweet potato. The steak was cooked perfectly; medium rare and I had no problem finishing everything. The prices where also extremely reasonable. A 22oz steak with a salad, rolls, and a massive sweet potato for around 28 dollars! Additionally our server was very friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a local steak house you should give this place a try!

Met up with a few friends to celebrate a birthday. Restaurant has a cheap and dirty feel to it. Didn't catch our waiters name but he was awful. Disappeared more than once. Didn't seem short staffed so who knows what he was doing. We all ordered steaks. I had the bone in Delmonico. Friends grabbed a ribeye and a filet. All of the steaks were completely unseasoned and mine came out well done when I ordered medium rare. They replaced it with a steak that was borderline raw near the bone but ok for the most part. Offered me a free dessert for the trouble. Asked for cheesecake and found out I got carrot cake when I got home with it. The combo of the sub par waiter and sub par food means that I'll just go to Texas Roadhouse for my steaks.

Have come here a couple times when I'm in town from Florida and catch up with friends. Portions are generous and the cocktails are strong. Plenty of parking.

It was a good meal. Steak was cooked as requested. Alex provided great service. No frills, just good steak!

Oh Harry's! I have been bragging about this place! My parents are the ones who got me hip to Harry's. It is right down the street from my 'hood- which is a major plus. Plenty of parking and space on the inside. And I just recently realized they had a bar in there. So another major plus in my book. I highly suggest checking this place out! They have a dinner special 2 for $16.99. You can order 2 entrees, salad, and bread for that cost. It is such a good price for a family dinner, friend's night out, or a random date night. Now if you come here you HAVE to try the cinnamon butter on the dinner rolls. Oh! My! Goodness!!!!! Like it just melts in your mouth! I think the true reason why we go to Harry's as a family is for the dinner rolls. The food is good and the atmosphere is amazing. It is very family oriented. They also have an upstairs reception area where you can rent it out for various events. My mother even mentioning that she might want to have her 60th birthday party there. So I will be checking out the prices and layouts of the rooms. They have 3 rooms that you can rent out. If you are looking for a place that has an amazing food deals, the food is delicious, and dranks- I highly suggest checking Harry's out!

Our 1st time, and we came for Valentine's Day. Good food, prompt service those are pluses. The decor gives that steakhouse feel. The menu is short and to the point, with few appetizers. Definitely not a place for the vegetarian minded. No, beer or wine list and for that being said, no drink menu at all. For as pricey as it is you would expect at least a beer and wine list. We will be returning for the service and the great food.

Perched on a bluff overlooking Interstate 77 and the Cleveland skyline, Harry's reminds me of the classic steakhouses of yesteryear, like the old Sizzler back in the 1980's: weathered, rustic wood paneling and saloon-style chandeliers abound, along with an open kitchen setup that allows for tantalizing whiffs of grilling meat and flashes of flame as the chefs serviced a typical Saturday night crowd. Booths and tables are big, with plenty of room for drinks and sides, with butcher paper table covers and crayons for any toddlers in-tow at this kid-friendly restaurant. The menu is expansive, with plenty of pork, poultry and seafood entrees, in addition to their sizable selection of steaks...surely something to please everyone. We started with a nicely-portioned appetizer of potato skins. Hot, generously-filled and chock full of bacon and cheddar, they were the perfect start to our meal. Dinners include an iceberg salad, which was a bit of a downgrade for a steakhouse...throw in some romaine and mixed greens, please, and quit treating salad as an afterthought. The rolls were similarly subpar; soft and doughy, reminiscent of the old Parker House rolls...although I imagine many patrons will enjoy them immensely. I should mention that the salad is served "family-style" in a large bowl and set of tongs, with Olive Garden-style unlimited refills. My husband ordered the 22oz. Porterhouse, with a generous, piping hot Idaho potato as his starch. I selected the Mahi Mahi, which was grilled nicely and served atop a typical bed of rice pilaf. I would have loved to have tried the accompanying mango chutney, but unfortunately the kitchen was out of stock as we were dining rather late in the evening. Nonetheless, our dinners were fairly enjoyable and served efficiently and pleasantly. Harry's also has banquet facilities, in addition to an attached full liquor bar and patio. Respectable steak, served in mildly retro surroundings, with hospitality and generous portions. They also offer daily specials and special seasonal offerings including their ever-popular autumnal clam bake.

Unfortunately, I have cannot think of any redeeming qualities for our experience at Harry's Steakhouse. It started with when I called to make a reservation, I was told they only do it for 6 or more people. When we arrived I heard the girl say to the person on the phone, 5 or more. So I'm left confused what the real answer is, but I get times are weird. Put name in only to realize a half hour later that our name had been crossed off. Sure mistakes happen, but we were under a time limit. I believe it was the owner who realized this and did seat us right away, however, our server took 5-10 minutes to come by and get our drink order. She didn't ask for appetizers and then ran away. Never asked for second drink. My boyfriend's margarita was not a margarita. It was frozen ice, kool-aid, and raspberry syrup. Food: Food was alright, nothing special. All of our steaks were undercooked. We did not say anything because of our time constraint. Boyfriend also order au gratin potatoes and got scalloped potatoes. My friend couldn't eat her rare steak that was supposed to be medium well. Overall I'm so sorry, there was nothing good about Harry's. Other than it was a quick 4 minute drive to axe throwing.

Harry's is an excellent place to have dinner. We probably order dinner at least once per week. I usually go into the bar area to order 'to go' . The wait staff is excellent, especially Tina!! Harry the owner has it all clicking on all cylinders. He interacts with patrons and is ALWAYS there!! He is an excellent owner.... And the food?? It is terrific! Steaks, seafood, specials all great. We usually order sirloin steak and salmon. Also know that they bring out a large bowl of salad!! It is awesome. They even allowed out dog to sit on the patio!! That was greatly appreciated. So, this restaurant is definitely a '5' star...

We often meet friends there for dinner and have always had great meals and excellent service.

So I haven't been to Harry's in quite some time. But, I used to go frequently with my hubby and the fam for the early dining specials and we always had a good experience. On a recent trip back to the CLE I went to dinner with some friends on a Monday for the prime rib special, Seconds on us. The place was just as I remembered. Rustic and cozy. The food was delicious, as I remembered it. The prime rib was seasoned well and cooked well. Loved the rolls and cinnamon butter, I forgot they served cinnamon butter. The salad, iceberg and family style was also good. I'm pretty picky with my lettuce, I hate wilted and browned pieces and I'm happy to report it was all fresh here, I didn't even have to pick one piece out, score! I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. Great service and great food!

We have been to Harry's twice when traveling to Cleveland. We picked the venue for it's location and convenience to freeways since both times we had a group of about 15 from all sides of town. They were very accommodating and service was stellar. We preferred where we were seated in the back room vs the front near the bar. We had plenty of room to visit and had the entire area to ourselves since it was a Tuesday evening and not crowded. We liked the old school ambiance. The servers were prompt and very attentive. They served us all several large bowls of salad, served family style. Everyone ordered different items from burgers to pork chops and several steaks. My filet, medium rare was cooked perfectly. I had a loaded baked potato. Everyone was happy with what they ordered. Prices are reasonable and include a side and a salad. As mentioned earlier, our servers were excellent. We plan on making Harry's our annual meeting spout for our group's reunion. I would happily go there again with just the two of us another couple as well.

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. We have been going for years and the last few times have been awful. Don't get me wrong, the wait staff is good. The cooking is awful. My husband ordered a steak medium. It came back rare. He sent it back and it came back medium rare. They cannot get it right. It's been like this several times. Unfortunately we will have to go else where.
