A lovely spot to enjoy a wine tasting or even a bottle, perhaps the grazing platter if feeling peckish, but the mains failed.
The burger is not what it used to be, with a new R195 price point you expect to be wowed, it didn't taste great and was still left unsatisfied.
Chicken had slightly pink areas and was recooked, overall beautifully presented (R185).
Kids meal was more than enough to be able to share.
Service was ok, clearing of the plates wasn't done even after ordering and receiving desserts, blamed on short staffed, yet on two occasions waiter didn't bother taking any plates with to the kitchen area?
The focus here is being a Wine Farm, not a restaurant, point cleary made.
The wines are truely wonderful and worth a try - after lunch time.
Revisit:
Had perfectly cooked medium steaks, Salmon salad well presented and would say these 2 are excellent choices when having a plated lunch.
Our server did a fantastic job, food all served at once, table was cleared promptly after last empty plate, coffee served warm and overall friendly and welcoming.
Glad I was able to invite friends to expience this beautiful wine estate and leaving with a smile.
Thank you
