Food is delicious. Super tasty. Service is great. Small portions for the price. The tako appetizer is a bit pricey for what you get. Rice dishes are small. Soup is decent sized but again, pretty pricey. Love the variety in the menu. The set meals are good value as you are quite full at the end! It comes with soup, a small appetizer and your main entree. Would still come back because there aren’t too many good Asian restaurants with this much variety in the area.

Recently discovered this authentic Japanese little spot in North Oakville @ the Fortinos Plaza! Came in for a late lunch and had Takoyaki, Shrimp Poke, Mapo Tofu Rice Bowl and Edamame. The food was absolutely delicious! So fresh and the perfect portions. Everything was just great! The staff was incredible! So attentive and sweet. Our server was Jo and she was fantastic. I can go on and on! Just visit this little gem. you will not regret it!

Came here on a whim one night after work when I just didn't feel like cooking. Didn't realize how nicely decorated and comfortable the restaurant would be! The ladies serving us were also incredibly sweet and kind, leaving a big impression on me. We ordered the sukiyaki udon set and one sukiyaki udon on its own. Really delicious, the flavour of the beef is hard to describe. I thought the takoyaki had the perfect amount of sauce and wasn't too doughy. Was surprised by the house salad as I've never seen anything like it, but it tasted very fresh. Overall I can't praise this place enough. I really want to come back when I'm around the area

Small and cozy place. Ordered Buta Udon and Salmon Torch bowl. Both are delicious, and the portion is not overwhelming.

The food (sukiyaki udon) is delectable and reasonably priced. The ambience is wonderful - very relaxing and comfortable. The service was attentive and friendly. I like it here. Highly recommend.

This place is an absolute must-visit! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. While my friends and I were enjoying our meal, a family arrived and requested that we be moved to accommodate their larger group. The staff handled the situation with great understanding and politely informed the family that they could return in 30 minutes instead. Their professionalism truly stood out, making our experience even more enjoyable.

The chilled water at the table was a nice touch. We had the Takoyaki and the Nori fries to start and both were good. The Buto udon was delicious but the pork belly felt a little tough. The Sukiyaki udon was delicious and really very good. Tantanmen soup was good.. The salmon classic shoyu was tasty but was expensive for the size and contents offered. Overall a good experience... The staff were friendly.

Yelp
I have to start this review off with even tho I gave it a four star my friend would give it a five star. I believe its just personal preference at this point. (Plus its far for me so I took the distance into consideration for this as well) My friend took me here because it is one of her favorite noodle spots. Shes actually a regular at this location even though she lives in Newmarket! My sister who came with us also stated that the food was delicious and would be visiting again (she lives 10 minutes away). For my personal taste the food was good - nothing outstanding and nothing terrible. I personally like my egg a little more runny (completely opposite to my sis who needs her egg boiled). This egg actually met our needs halfway - it was fully boiled but very soft still. The dish itself was very filling - I was stuffed afterwards! The beef udon $28 so the size made sense. The soup itself was very delicious - light and brothy. I personally was not a big fan of the chicken karaage because the outside shell was too thick for me but my sister and friend loved it. The matcha tea was good as well - it was a tea bag. The cost was $4.5 but for a group and unlimited refills its not too pricey. The restaurant itself is small. Very very cute decorations. I noticed that even though we were the only sit in group, for the entire time we were there they were super busy with packing take out. The employees are very polite as well. There is a 5% discount for cash and at the end they gave us some free lollipops for coming! (These are the fancy $1 lollipops not the regular suckers. I believe they gave then to us because my friend is a regular but it was still a very kind gesture!)

Yelp
Out with the old (Far East Taco) and in with the new and improved, Haruharu Noodle bar! The server let me know that they have been open for about 7 months now. It's a shame that more people don't know this little gem exists. It's been freezing recently and there's nothing better than a hot bowl of noodles to combat this. I want to say there aren't really any Japanese noodle places in Oakville proper - just places that happen to also serve ramen but no specialty places. This joint specializes in udon and donburi. They also serve poke bowls and snacks as well. It's a small but really cute spot with cat cushions along the banquet wall side and a huge mural of the great wave. The menus are on iPads but you have to order with the server. I got the sukiyaki udon which was filled with so many goodies! Mushrooms, cabbage, carrots in terms of veggies and then the protein was thinly sliced beef (no gristle!), half a marinated egg, and a fish cake. Whenever I'm at a ramen place, I always find myself basting the egg with the broth to try and get more flavour into it. This egg was very well seasoned so I didn't have to do anything. All the ingredients soaked up the delicious sukiyaki sauce as well. I really enjoyed my meal here and the server was so sweet! It was really hard to pick between all the udon choices so I'll definitely be back to sample more of the menu!

Yelp
Noy what I had expected... this is not truely authentic Japanese, IYKYK. Went here for an afternoon bite on the weekend and small cozy place was pretty full but we managed to be seated quickly after a cleaning of a small table. We ordered the curry udon noodles and a salmon don. The curry udon was bland and the noodles were definitely like the cheap packaged noodles that you'd buy from a grocery store. The salmon don was a bit better. Due to the small portions and little amount of protein it's overpriced even considering that it's not a downtown TO restaurant. Reviews on here had us excited but definitely will not patronize again. Nice try

Yelp
Food is delicious! Fresh ingredients, great flavour and large portions. Good variety too. Service is quick and friendly. Definitely coming back!
