We had a delightful and refreshing lunch of freshly made sandwiches and tea. We also bought cakes and baked goods for our breakfast the next day. We had the privilege of meeting the wonderful couple who make the bakery magic happen. Cue the song “Baker-Man” by Laid Back.

Nine of us were having coffee and some pieces of cake. It was fine until one of the waitresses began to rush us to pick up everything that we ended up with bad faces and insisting too many times. We didn’t know it was a place where you had to have a quick coffee and leave when you had tables available. We were only 10 minutes (reasonable time to have a coffee and a piece of cake) and we consumed enough to be treated so badly by that lady. Next time they could warn the consumer that they can only be at the table for 5 minutes, drop the money and leave. The consumer should not be concerned about the amount of money that the place can make, but about enjoying their cake and coffee and the festival of the town of trim. If you want to make more money, remove the table service or relace this lady. The rest of the staff had an excellent service and the food was lovely. What a pity…

Sometimes you just need a moment to relax, so you go into a café looking to enjoy something tasty and a nice warm coffee in peace… That was our intention until the waitress started rushing us. Several times she came to clear the plates and told us to hurry up because there were more people waiting — when we had only been there, what, 15 minutes? And then we had to wait another half hour standing just to pay?

Great place to get homemade soup, sandwiches or buns. Enjoyed a soup and a sandwich and the place could not be faulted, great atmosphere and service with a smile - proper Irish family business.

My friends and I were out on Halloween weekend, and we had a really unpleasant experience. Quite the opposite of what we expected — we just wanted to have a coffee peacefully, but one of the waitresses (the older one) was super rude to us and told us three or four times to get up because they had to serve more people. Meanwhile, the rest of the customers were ordering takeout. I understand they might have been very busy, but wanting to make more money doesn’t give you the right to treat your customers that way.

Delightful wee place full of love. Best sandwich I've had yet on unbelievable bread. Truffle ball for dessert which is the perfect richness and cakey and not too sweet. The couple that served us were so kind, and Saoirse had the brightest smile. Exactly the stop we needed after wandering Trim Castle.

We ordered custom cake for our daughter first birthday and it was made exactly how we wanted! Beautiful cake and really tasty too. Ordering through the website and whole communication around the order was quite easy. Highly recommend this place

Cute corner shoppe with gorgeous baked goods and (owner's) homemade jam attractively displayed. My (Irish)bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich was fresh and delicious. It came served with chips (crisps) and coleslaw. My husband's smoked salmon plate was impressive. Lovely salmon served with egg salad, soda bread, lettuce (from their garden!) tomato and cucumber slices and coleslaw. He said "wow!" Proprietors could not have been more courteous and welcoming.

This quaint little bakery café shoppe I'm the town of Trim had very friendly/helpful service and wonderful treats!

I ordered a cheese cake and a pear tart for my daughters communion. They were both delicious. I have purchased the homemade jam and cranberry sauce and the homemade scones and buns from time to time. I would recommend a visit and the food is always fresh and to a high standard.

It's a cute spot, pastries were old & dry. Owner was rude because we decided to eat at outside tables after purchasing food to go. Not sure if that's a thing, either way a kind explanation was all that would have been necessary.
