Vineyard setting with rooms, pools, dining, spa & golf

"This Napa bolthole felt classically Californian to me, surrounded by 360-degree vineyard views, fireplaces, and private hot-tub patios. The estate’s lush grounds invite exploration, and on-site Harvest Table delivers exemplary farm-to-table dining with rotating menus that celebrate seasonal produce." - CNT Editors
"At Harvest Inn in St. Helena I recommend strolling through the on-site vineyards and sharing a local cabernet by your in-room fireplace, with Napa highlights like Inglenook, The French Laundry and Castello di Amorosa close by." - Travel + Leisure Staff

"Whether you stay in a Vineyard View Collection room overlooking Whitehall Lane's Leonardini Family Vineyards, or an elegantly appointed, welcoming Harvest Inn room, this property offers all of the perks of wine country and then some: an excellent on-site spa, the perennially popular Harvest Table restaurant so you don't have to leave the property for a great meal, and bacon at breakfast that I consider some of the best in the Valley." - Brian Freedman

"Tucked away on an eight-acre estate at the top of St. Helena’s main street, Harvest Inn could easily be mistaken for a private country manse somewhere in England, or even northern France. Its lush gardens are traversed by winding pathways, and its brick-accented, Tudor-inspired architecture suggests somewhere far more Old World than upstart Napa. Even its sinuous pools and cozy rooms (many with fireplaces and private outdoor hot tubs, mind you) are reminiscent of a style somewhat less rustic-chic than tends to be in vogue here in wine country. Indeed, by Napa Valley standards, the intimate inn is part of the old guard, its original 25 rooms dating back to 1975, just after the famed Judgment of Paris tasting brought the region’s New World wines into the international spotlight. But the Harvest Inn is no less luxurious than the new resorts popping up all over Napa Valley . It has one of the most desirable locations in one of the most desirable parts of the world, surrounded by celebrated vineyards and presiding over arguably the most picturesque town in wine country. It also features a popular restaurant, Harvest Table, which serves dishes full of ingredients from the hotel’s on-site vegetable and herb garden."

"Set amid terraced vineyards, shaded groves, and timbered cottages in St. Helena, this romantic inn pairs curated outdoor experiences with intimate comforts. Guests can explore fountains, a sculpture park, and herbal gardens on the grounds, then visit nearby wineries, take scenic bicycle rides, or stop at local galleries; couples can enjoy side-by-side massages performed in an outdoor cabana shaded by redwood trees and enhanced with sensual botanical essences. Many rooms feature fireplaces and private terraces with vineyard views, and mornings include a generous country breakfast. The inn promotes a celebratory, wine-country atmosphere—especially in February, when a Valentine’s package (bookable via the inn’s website) includes a welcome bottle of Napa Valley sparkling wine, dinner credit for two with a special Valentine’s menu on 2/14 (and three-course dinners on other February evenings), house-made chocolate brownies, daily complimentary wine-country breakfast, free parking, and wireless internet." - AFAR
