Great market first time visiting while on holidays in Tasmania, plenty of choices for food, we had a delicious proper pork pie from this guys stand called the grumpy pie guy. While at the markets next to where we bought the pork pie we came across this place that sells organic plant based cacao, hand made chocolate and different types of hot chocolate, the name is Dear Valentine chocolate, they also sell Organic coffee called Tasmanian Organic Coffee they are from Sheffield which also is a lovely town we will be back next time we visit

What a great market. If I was staying longer or lived here I would frequent this market a lot. The produce looks amazing, and tasted awesome. The market has a great atmosphere also. So central to town and easy to get to. It wasn’t hard to find a carpark either. Would totally recommend.

Lovely market with a good variety of street foods, artisan gins, ciders, meads and wines, exotic spices, honey, local Fromage/cheeses (including vegan cashew cheeses) and plenty of fresh produce and gifts all backed by live music. Definitely a great way to start your Saturday in Launceston. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed.

I highly recommend this place. The vibe is awesome. You can vibe to live music while enjoying your food. I had egg&bacon burger and fresh juice and they are so delicious. Staying here for an hour and I love it 🥰

Nice selection of produce from the region at a reasonable price. There’s usually a few vegetable stalls for greens and potatoes. Great place to grab a coffee, breakfast and walk around. I’m a regular.

Google
Great market, great food and would be cool if could expand! Find it strange that you have to tie dog up, most markets these days are dog friendly and it’s such a bummer that this market doesn’t include dogs. Would love to see this change and I would attend more, I know a lot of Launceston people would agree please take this into consideration regards James

Yelp
a gem in the town! We came across this farmers' market as we were walking around town on a Saturday morning. Lots of stalls selling fresh produce / hand made snacks/ goodies . A great place to do some of your groceries or to have brekkie!

Yelp
Only locally produced goods, home grown and/or hand made for consumption are permitted for sale in this Saturday morning market. This means not only are you guaranteed to get fresh produce that won't go off in the fridge after 2 days, but you're also supporting local small businesses develop. Heart, soul, skill and class are all evident as the 3-hour market churns at a brisk pace, rain, hail or shine. There's a covered area in the middle with tables and chairs for eating. There's an hourly spot for a local busker to perform. There's an abundance of tastings, from nuts to olive oil, wines, sweets, baked goods, dairy, herbs, pesto, salmon & veggies galore. There's also a fabulous selection of on site food: vegan, vego and meaty choices. If you have time to take your time, it's worth it. Start in the middle with a coffee, sip it as you wander around and decide on breakfast. Have your brekkie in the middle to the sounds of the busker (the bagpipe was a bit much first thing, but the guitarist afterward was heaven), then do a couple more laps while you decide what you're going to make for dinner and buy your bits. Get a pastry on the way out and your day is considered a success.

Yelp
These markets are a must if you're in Launceston on a Saturday! Delicious food and coffee, everything fresh and delicious. We tried the pulled chilli beef waffle ($10) and the haloumi and chorizo burger (also $10) and both were simply delicious! Brownies my Modo Mio were amazing, $4-$4.50/each and the good flavours (Tassie whiskey, frangelico and hazelnut) will sell out fast!

Yelp
The Harvest Market is one of my top 3 favourite things about Launceston. I love the variety of produce, lively atmosphere with a variety of entertainers, friendly stallholders, the consistently-very-very-good coffee! Plus, those tasty Korean pancakes, the sweet one with nuts and cinnamon are my favourite!

Yelp
You have a few options for breakfast in Launceston but if you are here on a Saturday head to this market. You can try the other replaced on other days. There is a evolving range on cuisine here to grab and eat. Turkish, vegan, many more all made with local produce. And if you have already eaten grab some food for the day or week. Fresh vegetables and fruit, cheese and breads, olive oil, herbs, so so many things. Again all local. Of course the fresh stuff can be a tad more expensive than the supermarket but the quality is so much better. Be early as many locals come and grab their weekly supplies here.

Yelp
We come here every Saturday morning that we have free. Great atmosphere with buskers and hot food and drinks. Can come here for just a stroll with a coffee and snack or for grocery shopping. Cheap potatoes and apples with great selection of breads, meat, fish, and seasonal vegetables. It is open to the weather so it can be incredibly cold and wet at times.
