Google
This was an absolutley a beatutiful place for dinner. Perticularly the out door seating with the outdoor flame heaters and lights. The service was great but the food was fantastic. Wife and I shared a 42 ounce steak. It was very moist and tender with a great flavor( a bit of charcola). Prices tend to be a bit up there but it is worth it. I would recommend Giving this place a try!!

Google
Food is outstanding but don’t come if you aren’t hungry because the portions are served family style. Everything was so good and we’ll definitely be back. The lamb ribs were tangy and tender. I can’t resist a bread pudding so had to have the chocolate chip bread pudding.

Google
Lovely vibe in Montauk. The foods are a bit pricy but acceptable in this location and this season. And of course, very tasty in freshness. All servers are pretty in smile and style. I would like to come back with my loved ones again.

Google
Always an enjoyable evening with friendly staff and really great food! Get the lemon ricotta ravioli special and any steak….you cannot go wrong! Frozen key lime and/or cheese cake was amazing the next day!!!

Google
Weather permitting, dine in the patio. Amazing oysters and local seasonal fish (we had a halibut with delicious risotto side). Friendly service. One fish portion easily feeds two.

Google
Food is great and very abundant. Big portions, right by the water, beautiful flowers in the courtyard. Unfussy option for dinner in Montauk. If you don't have a reservation, I'd recommend coming an hour before you actually want to eat dinner, given long waits in the summer. Staff can be a little curt but I think it's because they deal with these hangry Hamptons customers.

Google
Pretty surprising to see anything less than 5 stars here. This is an amazing experience. The portions are large, especially the pasta, salmon, and skirt steak. The salads are amazing, large and flavorful. The ambience is quiet and beautiful. The skirt steak was a sleeper! Very filling and flavorful. Some people just want to complain, that’s fine, but don’t let a few bad apples ruin the bunch. This is a Montauk gem!

Google
A MUST go to when in Montauk. The food is 10 out of 10. Family style, so fresh, and the views are beautiful!

Yelp
Food is served "family style". Food and server were excellent.(large portions) If you can go at sunset the view is amazing

Yelp
Harvest in Montauk is a local restaurant in town. Limited parking in front of restaurant. They have a Bar with a TV screen playing sports. Need to make reservations if you would like to have a table. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our first time here. We ordered the Charred Oysters and Seafood Bruschetta. The waitress said that will be enough as the dishes are family style. She was correct. Fresh baked Bread was provided with some cheese. Which was interesting? The Charred Oysters is a must have they are delicious. Then the Seafood Bruschetta arrived which was enormous. Very well seasoned. We were stuffed but wanted dessert. Decided on the Cinnamon Cronuts with Vanilla Ice Cream. Yum If you are in the area it's a must try.

Yelp
If you're looking for a meal that will make you question your life choices, look no further. From the moment we walked in, I knew it was going to be a disaster. The host greeted us with the enthusiasm of a wet dish rag. If you enjoy paying money for food that makes you question whether you're actually eating or just chewing on disappointment, this is the place for you. Final verdict: I wouldn't feed this to my worst enemy.

Yelp
We are loyal fans of Harvest on Hudson in Hastings NY on the Hudson River. The ambience, the vegetable garden, the measured, paced service and the food are always excellent. . By contrast, Harvest on Fort Pond Montauk was a disappointment. Don't get me wrong - the setting on a beautiful pond is breathtaking even without the vegetable garden - instead they have pretty wildflowers. So what went wrong with a promising (week in advance) reservation that resulted in $200 plus meal? BTW: everything is family style here and entree seafood and meat prices are double. 1. About half of the bread was stale and they provided shredded cheese match sticks with it. What am I supposed to do with this cheese? - it doesn't spread on the bread like butter and you can't pick it up with a fork. Instead, I find the stick cheese with flakes of stale bread crust on the table cover making quite the mess - embarrassing. Perfect drink service - cold with a nice mini bottle of non alcoholic sparkling wine. 2. The appetizer of marinated lamb ribs with soy, garlic, and ginger was served in a huge mound for the $58 family style chops. I was expecting smaller sized tender lamb ribs, Instead I got a dental challenge of thick tough fatty meat. Plus, they are covered in a sticky non flavorful sauce and the meat was not falling off the bone (cooking time?) My shirt survived unstained, but I needed another cloth napkin. I left three chops - I'd rethink this family style stuff. 3. Salmon on a cucumber dates, walnuts with lemon butter based dressing. We had this exact dish at Harvest on Hudson. Here it was good, but the piece of salmon was huge (family style) making it less tender and the skin was not charred to give it that bacon like crispy taste. 4. we ordered the cream puff dessert ($18) and coffee - they brought out a tower of mostly stale empty cream puff shells with no pastry cream, gelato (very good) and tons of sauce and whipped cream. Dessert Service: No coffee ever came and the dessert was literally dropped 2 inches onto the table when served. The server response should have been, I forgot your coffee let me get it now at no charge. Instead we got - "do you still want it?" Perhaps we caught a bad Monday night.

Yelp
Just got home from a wonderful dinner at Harvest on Fort Pond! We got a recommendation from a local staying next door to us at our airbnb. The service was super friendly and we were able to snag a drink at the bar while we waited. I love the mix between fine dining / comfy cozy casual here. The waitstaff has T shirts but some of the diners were dressed up, some were not. Since there were two of us, the calamari salad and clam linguine was PLENTY- I'm excited to eat the leftovers tomorrow.

Yelp
Love this place have been coming here for years since I was a little girl. The food is out of this world, the staff so friendly. The drinks are always so good. A must visit when you come to Montauk

Maryanne S.

Yelp
Excellent! When they say family style they mean it! Everything was delicious. Service was outstanding!

Yelp
Our Summer 2025 visit to Harvest consisted of our previously tried favorites- Chicken Parm, linguine with white clam sauce and calamari salad plus excellent bread. The consistency that this restaurant delivers is frankly amazing. I have noted previously that the place spins like a top and it really does. Service, decor, food quality, is all delivered strongly. Value is getting a bit constrained, A large but not giant chicken parm @ $50 is not a good deal. linguini with white clam @ $54, and calimari salad @ $35 are teetering...... but it is a family style place with large portions. We actually witnessed a couple look at the menu and walk out and I am certain it was due to prices. The outdoor space seems to be twice the size of the indoor space so "day of" availability is there. Congrats on being Montauk's number one restaurant- no question.

Yelp
Beat to eat inside at one of the best restaurants in Montauk. Large size portions and great service. This is my go-to for great and reliably high quality food in Montauk. Make reservations early!

Yelp
Fabulous! service and food! Calamari Salad was the bomb! Bonus fireworks at 7pm. Espresso martinis for dessert.

Yelp
All of the places you can choose to go in montauk, do not choose this one. The table process is ridiculous, the host staff is embarrassing and inexperienced. Went here on a recommendation and would recommend to others to go elsewhere.

Yelp
Came here for my 4 year anniversary. The food was great, we got charbroiled oysters, seafood bruschetta and veal bolognese. We split the oysters and I ate the seafood bruschetta. By the time we got home 4 hours later I was experiencing chills, nausea and then projectile vomiting, but my partner was unaffected so it may have been the seafood bruschetta. I called the restaurant the next day and the hostess was very nice, caring and reassured me that they take food handling seriously. I understand food poisoning happens so I wanted to let them know to prevent it from occurring to other patrons. The hostess said I would receive a call from the manager within 24 hours but I never got a follow up... Additionally, a woman sitting next to me outside kept passing flatulence multiple times extremely loudly, like so loud multiple other tables heard it. She and her partner proceeded to have a lengthy conversation about how "most people fart 40 times a day!" I wish this was a joke because this was a $200+ dinner for the 2 of us and supposed to be a special night. Needless to say it was not a romantic anniversary, but a very memorable one!

Yelp
Folks.... Folks... Please go to this establishment, it is the pinnacle of east end dining. Great food, service, drinks, wonderful backyard ambiance! We got the oysters, wedge salad, chicken milanese and the swordfish. All were stunning and quality, flavor in every bite. You can't go wrong at this establishment, just make sure you make reservation plans or be flexible with seating because this certainly isn't a hidden gem. It's a front and center crown jewel of the East End of Long Island.

Yelp
The views and garden area are spectacular, as was the service. We were accommodated well with the seating and enjoyed lovely service during the meal. However I didn't feel that the food lived up to any hype. The penne was disappointingly soft and didn't have a great amount of flavor and all other dishes were...fine. Check it out once for the experience but I don't feel the need to return.

Yelp
I have been recommended this restaurant so many times and I'm glad I got to finally try it. The serving sizes are large so we were all able to split everything, which made the price more worth it. The food was also just very delicious. The staff was very nice and kept bringing us free bread and gifted us a dessert for our friend. The views from the restaurant are beautiful as well. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be going back.

Yelp
So many people had recommended this place and we've been twice now and have found it "Just ok." Is it worth staying up to midnight just to secure a reservation 7 days in advance? Maybe - if you've never been. While service has been kind and sweet, the food is average depending on what you get. We've gotten the artichoke pizza now and the hot honey pizza now and both were disappointing. You can't even taste any hot honey in the latter, and the artichoke pizza was dry. The bolognese was also dry so for the second time we went, we decided to get the linguine with clams instead which turned out better. Chicken parm was good as well, but it's definitely not a family sized portion compared to the other dishes. The creme puffs were stale the second time we went, but the first time we got them they were good. So just not super consistent ya know? The area outside is fun to walk around by the water and the kids can see the fish too.

Yelp
Food is wonderful and the setting is beautiful. Only complaint is that the gluten-free pasta isn't Celiac-safe because they cook it in the same pot/water as regular pasta. Luckily they do have other gf options.
google avatar

Lalanica C.

Yelp
Came here with a large party for dinner. Since it's a family style concept our group of 10 was easily accommodated and ordering was easy as well. we had a corner window spot which was beautiful to capture the remainder of sunset in the background. There was a decent parking lot, but also this was still off season so I'm sure that added to the ease. Highlights- mussels, calamari salad, and the clam linguine for SURE. The one thing was we may have over ordered, and this may have been helped by more guidance from our server regarding portions. we could have done with a half portion of rigatoni instead of 2 full pasta portions.
google avatar

Christopher M.

Yelp
As always the food and service were outstanding. We were a 4 top on a surprisingly not so busy, quiet, 6pm Sunday reservation. Started with libations, salad with goat cheese, steak and pasta. Everything was delicious, hot and plentiful.

Lena C.

Yelp
Love this MTK staples for decades! Pastas & chops are top notch. Great ambience- highly recommend this restaurant to all visitors.. Great ambiance!
google avatar

Brenda B.

Yelp
Excellent service. Delicious martinis. The calamari salad was to die for. The swordfish dinner was mediocre -very overcooked. The spinach that accompanied it was perfection.

Raquel V.

Yelp
The very first time we went, it was really good and couldn't wait to go back. The second time was just ok. We enjoyed our food, but for the expense and the anticipation, I expected the food, service and ambiance to WOW me and it didn't.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant on the pond. Service was fabulous. Enjoyed the eggplant pizza immensely.

Yelp
Favorite place out on Montauk. Food service and ambience are always excellent. it's family style so I would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Truly one of my favorite restaurants. From the service to the views to the delicious food - everything is always great. The Skirt Steak and the Farfalle is always a favorite! The calamari salad is also a great choice for an appetizer. This place has amazing portions for family style and i couldn't recommend it more!

Yelp
1 Star We've been coming to Harvest on Fort Pond with a party of 15+ for over 10 years, and it's always been one of Montauk's reliable higher-end dining experiences. Unfortunately, this visit was the worst we've had in a long time. Service was at the bottom of the barrel -- our table was barely cleaned between courses, the water had a harsh chemical taste, and the "family portions," normally generous, felt noticeably rationed. To top it off, the waitresses were curt and unwelcoming, which really took away from the evening. The only saving grace was the hostess, warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She did her best to make things right, but her kindness couldn't fully offset the rest of the night's issues. After a decade of great memories here, I can only hope this was just an off night, because this was not the Harvest we've known and loved. Overall we were very unhappy.

Yelp
The atmosphere and the scenery is absolutely beautiful and the food was awesome every time I'm out in that area that's my favorite restaurant to go to.

Yelp
If one could wave a Long Island wand and create a restaurant above and beyond with Italian profile portions family style then you would have Harvest on Fort Pond First tip: If you've called for reservations (indoor seating only), line up to the left (please see the included photo) or to the right if you are awaiting outdoor seating. Second tip: arrive around 4:45-4:50 before doors open at 5p but even if you're a tad tardy, you're still likely to get a place as there are ample tables. Third tip: should you arrive with eyes bigger than your belly, keep in mind that you can divide standard restaurant orders by 2 as the portions are FAMILY STYLE (emphasis added). No biggie if you don't though as the take-home bags aren't the type of plastic garbage found at grocery stores or in whale bellies but practically a souvenir one can add to their Hamptons collection. As luck would have it, the restaurant at the Manor where we lodged was closed on a Tuesday and the first place we visited had only a few barstools occupied and no hostess to seat us. So we found the only 4-star Yelp review in the area and the long line in the parking lot indicated to us that our fortunes changed by finding Harvest. They opened punctually and cleared the lot being able to sit couples like us and families of 8 or more promptly. Our tushes hadn't even hit the seat when Laura, our outstanding friendly waitress, took our order for water and beverages. Don't be sorry, order the salad of calamari. It likely being our one and only meal while visiting Montauk, we took our server's suggestions and they were on the money. The most popular dish, the calamari salad, had fresh aromatic arugula, crispy squid cooked to perfection, and just the right amount of original dressing which hinted at peanut flavor. The skirt steak was her second recommendation and the quality of meat was superb, cooked to medium rare spot-on by a chef presumably too busy and humble to come out of the kitchen and take a well-deserved bow to acknowledge such a great skill set. Should your seating be closer to the structure where those with reservations dine, then the ambiance will be of both a gentle shore breeze beneath the gulls gliding above the array of orange umbrellas and the sound of light jazz. The farther one gets from the hostess, the more likely one is to hear a backdrop of Disney movie soundtracks playing on cellphones with plastic sippy cups crashing on the concrete. In conclusion, whether you're a couple getting away for a romantic weekend or a family on vacation, the one meal you don't want to miss on Montauk is at Harvest on Fort Pond

Yelp
Phenomenal food and views! Service was great too. This is the type of place that would probably be best to go to with a group though because they serve family style and because my husband is a vegetarian and my son is well two we typically order different things. The good news is that we have a ton of leftovers. Everything we got was delicious and definitely recommend, especially if you have a crowd.

Gabrielle R.

Yelp
I've been coming to this restaurant for as long as I can remember, it's always been a staple in our trips to Montauk and we rave about it all year long. Unfortunately, last night's experience was extremely disappointing. We ordered the porterhouse, just like we do every year and it was honestly the worst we've ever had. The steak was dry, overcooked, and completely lacking in flavor. We actually had to ask for steak sauce and ketchup just to try to make it edible, something we've never done before. I actually pulled up a picture of the steak we got less than a year ago and it looks completely different. My family didn't want to complain, but I felt I had to say something. I told our server, and she was very kind and understanding, which I appreciated. Our waiter was also incredibly nice, but unfortunately, the food just didn't measure up this time. It was my mother in laws first time there after us raving about it for years and she was not impressed. As much as we've always loved this place and looked forward to it every summer, we're seriously considering trying other restaurants next time we're in Montauk.

Yelp
Came at 4:50 10 minutes before it opened... There was already a line at the door at 5 o'clock! Food and service were amazing. We had a great night and would recommend this restaurant to anybody!

Yelp
Recommended by two separate friend groups to go here for dinner while vacationing in Montauk. We were forewarned that it could be a long wait. We got there and were quoted about an hour wait, as expected. But, when we walked inside, my husband noticed a bar top table for 4 available and those are first come first served. So we sat there. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. We didn't know at first that it was family style, but she told us and that helped our decision making. Our food was fresh and very good. We were stuffed. I also learned that it's a sister restaurant to one that we often go to local to home. We will definitely go when back in the area.

Yelp
It's been one of our favorite spots in Montauk for many years. Food, service and ambiance is just wonderful

Yelp
It's so popular they need another building. The best place to eat in Montauk. Difficult to make indoor reservations.
google avatar

Luis G.

Yelp
Insane portion sizes but incredible food. Nice views. Service was a little rocky but overall very good meal.

Ruth S.

Yelp
We made an 8:00 reservation one week in advance. Showed up on time and was seated immediately. This is family style with no flexibility in menu or substitutions. A well oiled machine. The waiter was courteous. The food was delicious and did not disappoint. Our only criticism is we felt extremely rushed. The food came out in minutes and our bill came in 40 minutes. Thankfully we had drinks to finish which gave us another 10 minutes grace. If dining with two, I would hardly call it a date night. ‍
google avatar

William C.

Yelp
Great service and food, view spectacular! A real part of Montauk experience. The sunsets and cuisine never disappoint.

Patricia W.

Yelp
We were not impressed with the food. The reservation process is ridiculous. Long line of patrons in the parking lot waiting for outdoor dining spots was unsafe and made parking difficult for patrons who had reservations. Would not return.
google avatar

Kendall M.

Yelp
My family and I love coming to Harvest every time we come to Montauk. We love their food and the service is always top notch. We have to get the seafood bruschetta and we enjoy the fish of the day. If you make a reservation a week in advance you can sit inside, but if you show up the day of, you have the chance to sit outside in the beautiful garden. Sitting outside as the sun is setting is lovely. We love Harvest and it is a must do every Montauk visit.
google avatar

Erika J.

Yelp
We came in last minute without a reservation, snagged a couple seats at the bar. The service was impeccable. We loved the pancetta shrimp and mussels. Perfectly cooked halibut with a delectable crab risotto. Impressive little neck clam linguine. Great music, beautiful dock for snapping photos. The best food we had in Montauk
google avatar

Theresa Zugibe M.

Yelp
Excellent food and excellent service. Large portion meant to be shared and the mussel appetizer was fantastic.

Mary M.

Yelp
Great food, service, and view! Hostess and servers were very accommodating. One of our favorite spots in Montauk.

Madeleine S.

Yelp
Delicious food with a beautiful ambiance. Worth the wait to sit in the outdoor patio garden.

Yelp
OMG where do I begin, we had reservations for Tuesday but my granddaughter was not feeling well and I was just about to call and cancel our reservation but they called me about an hour issue, which was me not them! The young lady was so great that we were able to change our reservations until the next day which was tonight. Started our meal with our waiter who was Terrance he was wonderful! We were a party of seven which included three children under the age of 7, and he took the drink order and the app or as elk as the kids meals! They all came out the same time which worked out perfect On to our meal, we started with the Sears tuna and seafood bruschetta...which is out favorite and as always delicious. Our entree was the seafood special which was Fluke with a lobster risotto-out of this world delicious and we all had the rigatoni with sausage..again out of this world delicious. We did get dessert and got the crème puffs and there was enough for each of us to have some, again delicious Puff stuffed with vanilla ice crème drizzle of strawberry and chocolate! My granddaughter wanted to lick the plate! She did not but it was good enough to do that. We look forward to going here at least once a year while vacationing in Montauk it is our favorite place to have dinner because the service/staff/food is alway spot kn and never disappoints.

Yelp
Food is always delicious and abundant. Very pleasant staff-always. Never disappointed by The Harvest.
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
Amazing food with overly generous portions. Everyone was extremely pleasant Out waitress was fantastic

Sheila S.

Yelp
We were very excited to go to The Harvest and very disappointed after we did. We had a reservation for Saturday night, which was the problem. The food was mediocre , tuna said was more red pepper salad with a few tasteless pieces of tuna. Linguini with clam sauce was watery and had no flavor. The skirt steak was overcooked and rubbery The only good entree was the whole fish. The service was negligent. Dirty dishes stayed on the table until the next course came. The whole fish was not deboned by the waitress. We had to ask for steak knives , more water, and to have the table cleaned Once we were seated and ordered , we rarely saw the waitress who prioritized folding napkins over serving the guests. The bill was expensive for four people and not worth the dismal experience at The Harvest

Carolyn S.

Yelp
Beautiful location with great food. This service was excellent, and the staff is very accommodating. We went back a few times and the meal never disappoints.

Yelp
The food and ambience are always perfection! Delicious!!! Highly recommend this restaurant. I loved the bread as much as I dinner.
