We have stayed in for several days due to the weather and were so excited to run out for dinner. We decided to go to Harvest Pizzeria in Bexley. I would definitely recommend this location and the food at all is delish.
The wait wasn't bad, only about 30 minutes. Overall a good visit and good food. Even have leftovers for lunch tomorrow (this excites me).
For our meal, we both started off with the House Chop Salad ($6) - Iceberg, radicchio, pepperoncini, chickpeas, ricotta salata, with house italian dressing. This is our favorite salad but we both agreed more chickpeas would have been nice.
I couldn't resist the Brussels Sprouts ($10) - served in a parmesan cream sauce, raclette cheese, toasted breadcrumbs, spiced honey. These were such a good choice and it took me a bit to realize the KICK was from the spiced honey. I love Brussel Sprouts and that spiciness was really next level.
I ordered the Fennel Sausage Pizza ($16.75) - made with the house tomato sauce, gouda/havarti blend, mozzarella/provolone, red onion, house fennel sausage, fennel pollen, and fennel fronds. This is always a good choice.
My partner went with the Meatball Pizza ($17.50) - with the house tomato sauce, ricotta, fresh mozzarella, house beef and pork meatballs, roasted red peppers, pepperoncini, oregano, basil, parmigiano reggiano.
Only real complaints were plates were not cleared between servings. That was a bit annoying so we just started stacking them up. Dinner was also a bit rushed until we got our pizzas and had to sit around way to long waiting someone to check back in on us and for our checks. We also had a server switch and there was some lag time there too. Almost like they forgot about us.
I definitely want to highlight that both of our servers and all the staff were really friendly. It was nice to get out tonight and the food didn't disappoint.
