This is a nice store. They had a lot of nice records and other forms of music. Everything seems so reasonably priced. I came in to sell a few records and everyone was extremely nice and they even gave us sticker for myself and my son as we were leaving. Definitely recommend

This place is my favorite record store of all-time. They have great customer service with a highly organized and eclectic record selection. I know I’ve found my record store home when they have a dedicated experimental and electronic music section. One downside is that my wallet always feels the pain when I go here.

Spending my last 9.60 on a brand new copy of Dylan's blood on the tracks before checking myself into rehab. It's not even that price on the shelf and that should tell you everything you need to know about this amazing location. Not only did they let me in before they were even open, I was treated with pure kindness.

Great record store. More vinyl than cds but something for everyone. Picked up used oasis, tori amos, and guns n roses for $3 each. (Yes,I went to college in the 90s). Staff in indy record stores can sometimes be music snobs, but the people working here couldn't be nicer.

This place is great. I go to North Carolina a few times a year and I always try to stop by. They always have a bunch of albums to add to my collection. The staff is always super friendly and helpful.

New to town, and one crucial thing to me is a good record shop. Went to all the ones around town and by far Harvest is the best not only in town but one of my favorites in all the cities I’ve lived/visited. I always find myself coming here when I have some extra time and cash. Amazing prices - which is probably why so many unreal used items make their way out the door - in an beautiful shop, and a wonderful staff, parking is a bit difficult but not too much of a problem. It’s a smaller shop but has a great selection from all genres so you’re bound to find something you like. Check it out if you can, their social media page also hosts some great content.

I just edited this to spell Annelise’s name correctly. Harvest Records is my favorite place in Asheville! This review was written in Spring 2023 but every word is still true! They are all still INCREDIBLE people!! If you’re ever in Asheville, NC- make sure you head to @harvestrecordsavl ! In January, I went there with very little knowledge about what I needed and Annelise shared some knowledge with me about the used turntables they had available. I ended up going with the Numark TT-1700. It’s my first one and I LOVE it. Every time I go to Harvest Records, every single person working there is so lovely, helpful, and kind. I went to the store yesterday to ask them about a hundred questions because today was going to be my first Record Store Day. They were (as always) patient, helpful, and kind. I got really anxious last night and ended up getting there at 9PM because I REALLY wanted the Em Beihold record and knew they only had one copy. This morning, the Harvest Records folks brought free coffee to everyone waiting in line. I don’t drink coffee, so they were kind enough to heat me up some water in their coffee maker for hot cocoa. I haven’t slept in about 26 hours so I’m not sure exactly how long before 10AM (their opening time today) it was, but Annelise came to the door and invited me to come into the store alone. They all knew by that point that I had been there since 9PM and really wanted Egg in the Backseat, so they told me exactly where it was. Then they asked what else I was looking for and went and got those items for me and brought them to me. It was the most special shopping experience I have ever had in my life. I’ve been into a few other record stores and the employees are never nearly as kind. I know every time I walk in the door at Harvest Records that I will be treated with dignity and respect, even when I don’t have a lot of knowledge about what I’m asking about. As a neurodivergent person with PTSD and multiple other diagnoses that can make even simple tasks daunting, the Harvest folks’ kindness and patience is always very appreciated. Harvest Records is the BEST and you should absolutely give them your business! If I could give them a million stars, I would.

One of the best record stores I've ever been to, great selection. Will be coming back when I'm in town!
