A small, but *excellent* sake/wine/liquor store. They have an excellent selection of sakes, and a whole bunch of boutique-y japanese whiskeys. Friendly staff that is more than happy to help out, pretty much makes this an easy "go to" place to pick up a spur-of-the-moment bottle...

I will buy here again because of the store and sake but the cashier did so to something that made me a bit uncomfortable First of all the store seems like it has a good variety and has a nice atmosphere. The second thing and the one that really bothered me is that the cashier weirdly kept my card away from my view after there was a problem with the charge. I panicked a bit after I couldn’t see it at the beginning and then I realized she put it inside the register instead of giving it back to me until she redid the charge. First taking my card away (never do that as a retail person please), not being polite or at least half friendly and then even looking at me while I was inputting my personal number was something I hadn’t heard or experienced in Japan until now so it was a bit uncomfortable for me. Aside from that the rest of the staff was nice and although I didn’t find the sake I wanted I found another one I needed.

Oddly, we found a super spicy powder (made out of one of the hottest pepper in the world) via this store, highly recommend it if you have been craving spicy and couldn't find it anywhere in Tokyo. They recommend some good sake as well if you have tasted a good one before, show them the picture, and if they don't have it, they will try to match, not alot of English, but good enough.

my go-to sake store in Tokyo. Staff are friendly and also very helpful. Always get my gifts here before I travel.

Sake HQ, though you'd better know something about sake before you walk in.
